Phil D. was an excellent guide for our 3-hour tour of The Met! We saw all of the highlights and he was very knowledgeable about a variety of the topics and all of the questions we asked. It was a long tour with lots of walking so be prepared for that, but it was worth it. With how large the museum is, a guided tour is a must-have to be sure you see all of the key highlights (and don’t get lost!).
The guide we went was very knowledgeable. Great tour. He told great stories!! We loved it! The hot dogs outside were excellent too!!
Guide was lackluster and unengaging.
First time to the Met for me, 4th trip for my friend. We both highly enjoyed our tour with Rob C. He was engaging, organized, and informative. We left with a wonderful appreciation for the exhibits and in-depth knowledge of the artists and their works. Rob C. Has a wonderful way of educating and imparting understanding of the many exhibits which keeps it from being overwhelming. He even gave us extra time which was greatly appreciated I would highly recommend this tour. With Rob C as your guide
Great way to see an amazing collection! Ryan had a tough job wrangling our group with late-comers and folks more interested in their phones, but he made sure that I saw all of the highlights…and more! I appreciate his commitment to making sure I was delighted with my experience! Take the tour!
Awesome knowledgeable guide - great way to get an intro to the Met
Kevin was amazing asked the people in our group what types of art we like and took us to look at them.
Kevin was a wonderful guide, really knowledgeable, it was a unique experience to discover the MET with him. He is really an expert, the tour was very interesting all the way, we would have loved to continue it even after 3 hours!
Kevin Lawrence was great! Very interesting and informative and with his own pov! Thank you!
Wonderful tour and Rob was a great guide! So much to see at the MET… Ro. Was incredibly knowledgeable.
Kevin was great —- knowledgeable , engaging, knows art and the museum. Brings more to the table than just facts. Highly recommend!
Its amazing how one guide knows so much about everything. No matter which section we entered the vast knowledge of the guide makes all the difference
Kevin was a great tour guide. It was a small tour of only 4 of us which meant it was even more important to have an informative and friendly tour guide. Kevin made us all very relaxed to ask any questions. He had a wealth of info. Really pleased !
Our guide Kevin did a great job on giving us a perspective on art throughout the time!
Stephane was an excellent tour guide! As luck had it, no one else signed up, so I had a private tour. He was amazing, knowledgeable, and so interesting. What a treat!
Guide and selection of exhibits to view where only satisfactory. 20 minutes lost from tour time when guide took 15 minutes to obtain our tickets, and then directed everybody to the restroom before even starting the tour. No brief commentary on the hundreds of exhibits we walked through to get to selected destinations. No real enthusiasm from our guide in general.
Nicola was very knowledgeable with his info on our tour. He interjected humor , which made it more appealing. Enjoyed the entire morning.
Thank you for the informative tour
Kevin was a fantastic guide - it did feel like a carefully curated experience, and the fact that everything tied back together to certain wider themes was really appreciated. Recommended!
Fun and informative tour with Kevin.
Very informative and fun tour with Kevin!
Great experience! So educational and eye opening on the connections through art.
Kevin was excellent! Very knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. He was able to add technical, historical, and social context that was easy to understand for art novices. He also has fabulous personal taste! Highly recommend this tour!
The tour guide was knowledgeable, witty, patient, and well organized. It was truly one of the best of the many tours I have taken of parts of New York City and of New York museums!
Kevin was most informative and fun with for the tour. He knows the art and interesting gives you the extras for the why the art was as it is. Tealky enjoyed this.
We really enjoyed our highlights tour of the Met!! Ryan was outstanding-we appreciated his knowledge and his many insights into the history of what we were viewing.
Wasn’t able to attend/engage in this experience. Got a little lost while traveling on the subway. 🔀
Kevin was very knowledgeable and descriptive. I learned a lot that I never knew about art. Would definitely love to tour with him again in the future!
Our guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and considerate of the group and our requests. Made it very interactive and enjoyable. Highly recommend!
John, our guide was amazing!!
The tour was a good way to see highlights of the MET, which is vey big - 25 connected buildings. Our guide provide history about the MET and explained some of the varying architecture. We ended up staying after the tour to see some of the items he mentioned that were not part of the tour.
I was 10 minutes late and the tour group was gone from the original meet up point by the time I arrived. I tried to get in contact with the company to see if I could join the group but no response. It was money down the drain. I should have been allowed to join the group. Instead, I had to wait in line, pay my own ticket (again) and I got to explore the museum at my own pace. I ended up seeing all the art I wanted.
Our guide Charlie was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable and fun interactive presentations of the art and sculptures. His insights and stories really made the visit that much more enjoyable.
Jett was personable, concise and easy to follow. He gave just enough but not too much information. I've visited the Museum 10+ times but was unaware of the things that Jett opened my eyes to.
We had our tour with Phil he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was an excellent tour guide. I would highly recommend the tour.
We had a tour with Phil and he was very informative and gave lots of detail!
Rob was amazing. Super knowledgeable and entertaining.
It’s fun to have a tour from someone who’s so clearly enjoys the subject. Our leader, John, just thoroughly enjoys all of the arts sharing it with people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Katie, she was a fantastic guide! Could you please share the details on how we can leave a tip for her?
The guide was great very knowledgeable
He was Phil .D of wonderful information!
Very engaging tour. Our guide answered all of our questions and was very friendly.
Very informative and interesting
Our guide Katie was terrific. Very knowledgeable and personable, she clearly enjoys her work. I highly recommend this experience.
John was an amazing tour guide; highly recommend!!
John was an amazing guide! Definitely worth the money! It can be overwhelming going without a guide, and John did a great job showing us the greatest hits.
Great overview to get a flavor of all there is at the Met!!
Really fun experience!! For a two hour tour we got to cover a good amount of paintings and artifacts. Our tour guide, Rob, was so intelligent about art and especially the painters we were seeing. He was so lively and engaging, we loved having him teach us. Some of my family and I are experienced artists and we all still left with much more knowledge than we went in with!!
Rob C was outstanding. Explained things in an interesting manner and brought things to life.
