I waited 45 minutes for Go Airlink shuttle pickup in New York (Grand Central to JFK). There was no marked bus stop near designated intersection of 41st & Park Ave, the shuttle bus never appeared; unable to reach customer service (on hold roughly 30 minutes). I did see a text later from the driver that he was on 41st between Park and Lex; that is not the same as 41st & Park where I waited as instructed. At 3:50 p.m. I was finally forced to call a taxi to get to JFK in time for my flight, at a cost of over $70. Airlink didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to my message requesting a refund monies charged to my credit card; fortunately the bank did.

Excellent service. Vehicle was clean and couldn’t ask for a better driver
I ordered a van to take me to JFK airport to be picked up at 9 p.m. While I was at dinner at about 6 p.m. several miles from my hotel the driver called to let me know he was at the hotel. I told him I needed him at 9 and his response was that I was a no show. Don't use this service if time is important to you.
Driver was courteous and professional and on time. When traveling with family or four plus, there’s plenty of room for luggage.
Not particularly impressed. Driver was rude, asked us to get there much earlier than agreed. Not good at all
Came on time friendly driver would highly recommend was thorough in updating us on the next hotel pick ups!
The driver was very helpful as I needed additional help. He knew how to get around traffic since it was very heavy and some Manhattan streets closed off. Great driver.
Horrible experience. Tried to find the driver at Midtown bus station, NYC. He screamed at me over the phone because I couldn’t figure out which corner he was standing at out of four corners in bumper-to-bumper traffic in the pouring rain. Would not give me any landmarks, telling me what buildings he was parked next to, although I asked. Extremely difficult to understand, difficult to communicate with; I finally found him with the help of a kind bystander, and he proceeded to pick up two others in the same terrible mood. I directed a full email with details of the whole experience to the Go Airlink NYC Call Center manager, Tamara Vukovic, but I never heard back after my complaint. I would happily pay triple for a taxi next time.
Took 3 hours to get to the airport, should have been just over an hr. Traffic was very bad which isnt the providers fault but they failed to account for a lot of known road closures when doing the other pickups. Driver was frustrated and rude. Put us under a lot of pressure. Would not use again.
Traffic in and around NYC and to/from the JFK airport is horrible - lots of it. Allow extra time to travel - google indicated 45minutes-hour. I allowed an hour and it took one and a half hours.
The driver was on time and got us there in plenty of time for flight. Actually were there with over three hours to flight time.
My driver was not very friendly and dropped us off at the arrival entrance and not the departure so it took me a while to find out where to go
He definitely knew his backstreets to avoid heavy traffic, but drove in the opposite lane. Also, it was very very hot in the van. The air must not have worked well.
I would strongly discourage anyone from booking with Go Airlink Shuttle based on my experience. I was scheduled for a 6:30 AM pickup on July 13 for my shared shuttle transfer from Manhattan to JFK. My flight wasn't departing until 11:00 AM, so I had planned my morning around the scheduled pickup time. Instead, the driver texted me at 6:09 AM saying he was outside and expected me to come out immediately. I was confused because my confirmed pickup time was 6:30 AM, not 6:09 AM. Passengers should not be pressured to be ready more than 20 minutes before their scheduled pickup. What followed was even more concerning. The driver sped aggressively through city streets, weaving through traffic and driving in a manner that felt extremely unsafe. On multiple occasions, he came dangerously close to hitting pedestrians. The ride was so reckless that the GPS/navigation system repeatedly issued audible warnings telling him to slow down because he was exceeding the speed limit. I've never been in a shuttle where the navigation system itself had to warn the driver about his speed. This wasn't just an uncomfortable ride—it was a serious safety issue. As paying passengers, we expect to arrive at the airport safely, not feel like we're risking our lives to get there a several hours sooner. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of reckless and aggressive driving. This was, without question, the worst airport shuttle experience I have ever had. I will never use Go Airlink Shuttle again, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone who values their safety.
On time, friendly driver and good driver
Reliable. Let me know right when he arrived. Comfortable ride. Got me right to the airport terminal I needed & with plenty of time. Great & affordable service.
Excellent customer service and great experience. We were picked up on time, a joyful ride and arrived on time.
Was advised that driver would pick up at hotel at 1.05pm Didn't come till 2pm. Contacted us about 20 mins after arranged time advising he would be another 10 mins. Another 30mins before eventually picked us up. No apology was given. Contacted me with mobile with russian number so not even sure it was the driver contacting me. Very very poor. Made check in/security very rushed
Our trip to the airport was not the best. The driver was rushed and very distracted. We had a pick up time of 10:15 and he repeatedly called us and rushed us when we were out of the cruise terminal at 9:45. We were a group of 6 with 3 handicapped individuals so we move slowly. Out driver was rushing my 80 year old mother and speaking very rudely to her. Once we were on the road He was taking calls and not at all paying attention to the road. I know that New York drivers are crazy but he was driving in a manner that all the other cars were honking at him. The final straw was when he started cutting his fingernails while driving. I guess you get what you pay for because the price was great but I will never use this service again.
I booked this to ease some of my anxiety the morning of the day I was set to leave. My booking was for 6am and I specifically asked to be to the airport by 7am. The dispatch told me that would be no problem. I was told I could call 30 min early the day of to get the name of my driver and the vehicle type I did that, and that’s where the issues began. I was informed the driver was running behind would not get to me till 6:25. That was ok, the driver gets to me then. We take off and he goes to the next stop and we get the next passenger. And then we get to the 3rd stop at this point it is 6:50, the third pickup person is no where to be found. The driver goes into the hotel for 10 min when he returns still no passenger. At that point I let him know myself and the other passenger in the vehicle need to get to the airport or we will not make our flights. To which the driver let me know he still had 3 more pick up (none of this was disclosed, the other passenger had the same pick up time as me too). The driver didn’t know what to do he called dispatch and gave me the phone the first person I spoke to told me there was nothing they could do. Myself and the other passenger were very stressed at this point. We spoke with someone else and after negotiating were able to get another ride. So we had to take all of our stuff out of the original car on the side of the road. We were left and had to wait for the next car to come. I was extremely late had to run to make my flight and was extremely overwhelmed with the experience. The dispatch let me know I could email the back office and would not provide the email when asked. It was very unorganized and not a company I will be using again.
Driver was wonderful and friendly.i recommend viator to everyone and is very dependable and on time.
The driver tried his hardest to pick me up in a timely manner & get me to JFK airport in a timely manner , but the midtown traffic made it impossible. But they picked me up & got me to JFK in plenty of time. ( they worked a lot of “wiggle rm” in the schedule)
The driver. Shawn, was very friendly and kindly offered us water. Good communication when he arrived to pick us up from hotel. Very helpful towards my mother with assisting her to get in and out of the van. A little bit of aggressive driver and scared us a bit but also made us laugh. Made it to the airport on time and safely.
Comfortable van, driver called to reconfirm. Was on time. Didn’t drop me to the terminal my flight was at though.
We booked as weather was looking bad..driver arrived early, helped with luggage, very chatty & got us to airport in really good time (despite NY traffic!)
Our driver (Abu) offered to pick us up a little early due to heavy 3-day weekend traffic, which worked out perfectly. He clearly communicated exactly where he was parked, and was waiting for us outside. Drove safely and got us to JFK with time to spare!
Driver was on time. He drove very cautiously
Go Airlink were excellent communicators and the driver was very pleasant and helpful. Easy way to get to JFK from Manhattan.
We recently booked a private transfer from our hotel in Times Square to JFK Airport, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our driver, Keith, was extremely friendly and professional. He arrived in plenty of time and immediately helped us load our suitcases—which was no small task given the size of our group and the amount of luggage we had. The vehicle itself was spacious, clean, and fully air-conditioned, making for a very comfortable journey. Despite heavy traffic leaving Manhattan, Keith navigated everything efficiently and ensured we arrived at JFK with time to spare. We also had a few additional stops to pick up other passengers along the way, which he handled smoothly without any disruption. Overall, a reliable and stress-free service that I would highly recommend. One tip for future travellers: be sure to allow plenty of time—around 4 hours before your flight—to account for traffic and airport security.
Driver on time and very helpful, smooth transport between hotel and JFK. Dropped off at terminal, plenty of time before flight. Stress free travel with heavy cases.
Picked up 30 minutes early but used Brooklyn tunnel and we got to JFK in good time and the driver was pleasant
Driver on the way back to JFK was much better than the way there where I have 1 star, got us there in prompt time and was a good laugh chatting all the way to JFK
They turned up at 2.40pm for a 2pm booking. Driver called me at 2.10pm to say he was close by, and took a further 30 mins to arrive. The description of the pick up point on their website is not accurate either.
The driver sounds a bit crumpy but he's a nice, helpful guy. It was a fast trip - this guy knows the JFK through and through
Two of our families booked this company for transportation back to the airport. We received an email confirming the exact pickup time and location at our hotel. One family called ahead just to reconfirm and was told that the pickup time was “too early” and that they do not provide service that early in the morning. They were then told they would need to find alternate transportation. Concerned, I called as well since my flight departed at 8:00 a.m., and I was told the same thing. This was extremely frustrating, as we were never notified of any issue. They allowed us to book, sent confirmation emails and texts stating everything was confirmed, and even provided a specific pickup time of 5:15 a.m. The only reason we found out there was a problem was because we called the day before to double-check. This caused significant stress and took up valuable vacation time while we scrambled to make last-minute arrangements. Had we not called, we would have been stranded.
Driver kept using F word . Disrespectful of customer . Screaming at people and cars. I was going jfk and he turned to LaGuardia
Traffic into Manhattan can be very bad at times but it is what it is. Our driver handled the gridlock well.
Had to call the company after they didn't arrive to transfer us to the airport. They had no one available to transfer us and refunded us!
Don’t do it. Van was overbooked with pickups - took 2 hours to even leave the city and over an hour to the airport after that. Almost missed our flight - only caught it because it delayed at the last minute.
We were informed that we needed to be picked up at 6 AM for a 1 PM flight out of JFK. We were dropped off at 8 AM. Completely ridiculous. To waste our time sitting in the airport for an additional five hours was beyond my comprehension. Definitely not interested in doing this again. Also, the van that we were picked up and smelled like body odor.
We were welcomed on arrival by a member of staff who led the passengers to the mini bus. The driver was a cheerful guy and navigated the traffic very well.
The driver was friendly & kept me informed of the traffic problems delaying his arrival. Next time I will take a private shuttle or a taxi when flying out of JFK. We were in the shuttle over 2 hrs. We made our 2:00 p.m. flight, bit it took to long.
Great experience with the driver being helpful and professional. He was very informative about aspects of your visit.
The Driver was on time and friendly. The Shuttle bus was comfortable. We arrived at the airport in plenty of time for our flight.
It was a good experience except the shuttle arrived 15 minutes early so we had to rush a bit in the end.
The driver was a wonderful man whom was respected by the hotel staff and the drive was easy and pleasant to experience versus disgust with having to drive in New York to get the passengers to their destination. Great conversationalist, as welll.
I booked this shared airport transfer through the Viator app. My booking was confirmed but I noticed that although there was a confirmed collection date and pickup point, there was no collection time. I called the shuttle service provider on the number provided by Viator on the booking and despite booking and confirmation numbers on the app, the shuttle service provider had no record of the booking in their system. They also confirmed that although my booking showed a 90th st collection point, they do not do pickups from anywhere above 76th street. Despite the app saying I could cancel and get a refund, when I did request a cancellation the app said the cancellation fee was 100% of what I had paid for the ride. Something is very wrong here. Viator needs to fix this ASAP. I urge people not to book this service through this app until this problem is fixed. It is not reliable, and you can’t get a refund. Make of this what you will.
The worst transportation I could have taken to the airport. The guy was arguing with someone by the phone all the way and even was angry with us because of that.
little late on pickup to airport missed my flight, traffic was very heavy that morning. would still recommend, very affordable way to get to airport.
Nice driver, arrived on time. Got caught in New York's bad traffic but still managed to make our flight
