Great trip,well worth it,all the sights

We showed up for our tour and no one was there. Not a text or email letting us know either, but they took my money! The company would not answer my texts or calls. Skyline Tours gets a negative rate; however, Viator did us right and refunded the fees! But I am still out the $75.00 ride fee to get there.

Don’t book this tour. Every other tour is probably better. We paid for an hour and a half narrated trip and got about a 55 minute boat ride. They narrated for about five minutes and when they did, it wasn’t at the spots where we were passing so it didn’t make any sense. They also blasted heavy metal music.

First they changed time like thrice and then they said the boat is canceled Then they offered me a party boat with blasting music called lady boss I booked a skyline cruise , my original boat was at 7pm for two hrs and the one they offered was at 10pm for two hrs , that was cancelled too If you’re someone who’s on a schedule this will definitely not work for you I called for refund , they said they can’t refund

Horrible. Was to be a narrated cruise showing points of interest. Was not! Staff hiding below in dungy area with mini bar, buckets and chairs scattered. No one mentioned a bar downstairs until another passenger advised. Very disappointing.

The experience was very relaxing!! Also running around the city all day my phone died and Michael was a life saver for charging my phone!! THANK YOU

It is very poorly organised. Very dirty boat. Started 45 mins late, we missed our dinner reservation. My tour was for 60 mins at 7pm. They mixed us up with those who have booked at 6:30pm for 90 mins

The boat arrived 45 minutes late and the tour was 1 hour late to leave. We couldn’t stay because we had plans for after the boat ride, and Viator blamed us for wanting to leave.

We had an amazing time, romantic & loved the views A must do again event, the next time we would love food

Very unprofessional. The tour didn’t tell much of anything. It was NOT 90 minutes. Would not recommend.

The experience was nice. But Lady Marie owner of the ship was too bossy. She made us wait to use the restroom thankfully it was unlocked because she said it wouldn’t be open until ten minutes before leaving. She even snatched the water bottles from passengers. But the crew was absolutely amazing. They even gave my daughter a complimentary bday drink she turned 10. The staff took amazing pictures. Great staff.

First of all, crousie was delayed for an hour, so we were just standing and waiting. When we departed, we went to some boat filling station, stayed there for 15 min, then on way back we just pased statue from distance, so we didnt see statue. When we went back, we were waiting on the boat for another half hour to get out of it. It was tourture. Didnt enyoy at all.

Caution while booking this. They change the pick up location and inform you just a few hours before. You will end up paying heavy charges for Cab to reach their new pick up point

It was nice to sit and look at the city skyline. I do wish the speaker worked on the upper deck of the boat.

Terrible! They cancelled and never notified us!! We showed up to an empty dock! Don’t waste your money!

Apparently the company and Viator do not communicate with each other at all. Our trip was first rescheduled then canceled without an opportunity to request a refund. Just been told to contact someone else everytime we ask.

Couldn’t see out the windows very spotty, I understand with it getting wet as it’s going to how ever it could be better, video before booking is nothing like the tour. For the price it wasn’t bad but wouldn’t do it again.

Boarding too disorganized , took long time and ask for paper tickets . Tour explanation only you can her on the back , not inside the boat.

This particular boat did not follow the pathway outlined in the description. We went to the Statue of Liberty and turned around, and did not go onto the east side of manhattan. There was no tour guide telling us what we saw. As we approached the dock, the music turned from pop music to hardcore explicit rap. There were probably 20 kids on board. Completely inappropriate.

The boat was extremely late and we never got on it. We ended up taking another boat around the city.

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. We waited over 2 hours in freezing cold weather just to be told nothing useful, and in the end we NEVER even got on the boat. There was zero communication, no updates, and no customer service whatsoever. We repeatedly tried calling and reaching out to someone for help and nobody answered us at all. After wasting our entire day standing outside in the cold, we requested a refund since no service was even provided, and they refused yet they had no issue leaving customers stranded with no information or assistance. Completely unprofessional, disorganized, and dishonest. Save yourself the frustration, wasted money, and terrible treatment — DO NOT BOOK THIS

When we arrived at the stated time, the reception desk had no reference of us attending the 6pm cruise. It was difficult to find out why. I later (5 hrs later) received an email stating due to dockwoork, the sailing had been caceled and alternative times offered for the next day. As we were leaving Manhattan at 7am the next morning, these were totally unsuitable. Also as the cruise ship was already being filled, it was quite clear that no dockwork was affecting the 6pm sailing. I and my family are very disappointed with the failure of Viator/Tripadvisor to ensure that we could all experience this 6pm cruise sailing. I originally booked via Tripadvisor. I will not use either of them going forward.

Booked this through Viator. The Manhattan Skyline Cruise Co never received payment for Viator. I called Viator 40 minutes before the cruise and the customer rep was unable to assist me so I had to book the cruise directly through the cruise company, meaning I had to double pay. Working with Viator to hopefully get a refund.

This is NOT a night tour. Inacurate advertisement. Company will not answer the phone or reply to emails. Staff is not welcoming. Only the VIP section has clean windows. The bottom deck for general admission has very dirty windows which do not help when trying to take pictures. Tripped on an uneven floor with no safety sign. Tour narrator was nice.

Loved every minute od this, sunset was beautiful but after dark was stunning. I would do again and again. I would say the bar line was very long, so i skipped that for the views.

Trip got cancelled due to weather, which is fair enough as this cant be help but I haven't received any word on receiving my refund.

There is no seating on the boat! It wasn’t a huge deal but it would have been nice to know before hand. Also our trip did not go over to the Brooklyn Bridge at all. It only went down to the Statue of Liberty and straight back. It felt a little deceiving because the route is advertised differently than what we actually did. Also the cost at the pier was considerably less. We payed $44 through Viator but they were only $28 when we got there.

It was SUPER DUPER WINDY! But arriving to the check in area was a little bit confusing (I think because of the wind, on where to go). After I got into a proper line and got on the boat everything went smoothly. Omg this has been one of my favorite things to do on my trip. Seeing the skyline with the sunset was a great choice! Make sure to book at 4pm (hope it's not windy). I think our guide was name Sally and she did an amazing explaining. Her humor was on point!! I was outside seeing the view and watching the sunset! I had the chance to see statue 🗽 up close! Rest of my viewing was inside to be warm and seeing the nighttime view!! I love it when the nighttime is set and the skyscrapers lights up! Thanks for experience on my first time in New York City!! I will be back!!

It was a very good tour and the crew was amazing. Didnt try the food or drinks. The only complaint is (from what I saw) you had the choice to upgrade to premium or vip (different levels) on the boat, not beforehand. The bottom was not very organized, but you could walk out to the outside at any time and it was an amazing view of everything, no matter where you stood. I would recommend this to anyone.

Booked a New Years Eve river cruise for our family including two children. Arrived to be informed by other families that it wasn’t going ahead. No update, no apology and am now attempting to claim a refund.

We arrived half an hour before the time scheduled to be told they had cancelled the cruise. No email, no phone call, no text. I had planned this evening with a restaurant booked for dinner afterwards and then on to times square. Im disappointed to say the least. Some form of communication would have been great and now I have to fight for a refund because the company havent put on the system that its been cancelled.

My mom, daughter and myself absolutely loved this tour! Seeing the NYC skyline all lit up is a must do. It was freezing the night we went but we sat inside and still had the best view of all the sights and were able to stay warm. I would definitely do this again.

I’ll review ONLY because I received several multiple emails asking. 2 stars because yes, it was a cruise around a portion of Manhattan. But, you’re below deck with windows too filthy to see much clearly. While in line to board, you are offered an upgrade to the main deck, which I almost regretted not taking. Then we realized we would be taking passengers from another ship, effectively doubling capacity. It was horrible. Packed like sardines. People standing for the duration. Music so loud it was deafening and blaring “New York New York”, which was seemingly on repeat. If you moved to go outside for a photo, you had to claw your way to get a spot, and know you had to claw back to “maybe” get a space inside. My daughter had a seat and I noticed an elderly woman trying to keep her balance while standing as the boat rocked. The masses surrounding were the only reason I think she didn’t fall. I felt horrible asking my daughter to give up her seat. Hopefully others on a different day had a better experience.

It was a great cruise and very informative. Loved they took time for all of us to see and get pictures of the Statue of Liberty. While we stayed to view saw other liners cruising by and not stopping. Rachel was great as a guide. We were to do skyline night cruise but weather prevented us and they made sure to get us in next day so we could see it before we left town.

This was a great experience. Recommend the 4pm time slot because you get both the pre and post sunset photos of the landmarks. Molly the tour host and announcer was absolutely a joy! She had a lot of fun facts about the area and a great sense of humor. Lot of scenery and great views.

We had the best leisure cruise in the evening. It was our last night out. Relaxed and comfortable with the great views.

An amazing experience. The crew were very friendly and attentive. The boat was empty enough for us to comfortably see all the sights (unlike another company’s boat before ours that was scarily overcrowded). We had plenty of opportunity to take photos and really enjoy the views. Big shout out to the crew who kept us up to date with everything and were very professional. Would definitely go with this company again

It is lovely especially if you plan it during sunset. Long enough for you to enjoy the cruise. Best time would be summer and fall because winters can get very cold as the cruise is very windy.

My wife and I enjoyed the ride. Had VIP so the view and weather was spectacular, thank you. We look forward to another trip.

Sailed at 6pm and views were spectacular especially at sunset. The commentary was brilliant by Darius the best. Lots of info and humour we will not mention singing. Photos were spectacular. Definitely recommend

Scam!! Do not purchase tickets here!! There are boats at pier 36 that sell same day tickets!! Do NOT risk your time and money these are bad people.

You might get put with a poor provider shortening the cruise and only seeing the east side of Manhattan

Night tour was some of the most memorable sights of our trip. Very clean ship and a comfortable ride

Great experience. Had a good time . Worth the trip .. especially seeing New york.skyliners at sunset and in the night with beautiful lights . The staffs of the cruise was wonderful and helpful especially our host commentator Ms Molly was very informative of all the landscape and historical building .

Not the nicest choice you can take to tour the river and the bay. The ship is fairly dated, not clean and the service is below par, but very nice crew, hardworking and friendly people. You get what you pay for.

Great photos taken. Boat was smooth apart from when you first get on. We went in November so it was a little chilly but warm inside the boat
