Manhattan Helicopter Tour From Westchester (Shared)

Absolutely amazing experience and definitely worth doing the 45 minute tour down to see Lady Liberty. We had to chamge the night due to the weather, (unfortunately something that can't be controlled) but it was hassle free, and complimentary champagne was given. I did the evening flight, snd the views were spectacular, however if you want to see cental park etc you may be best doing it in the day, as nort much of it to see when it's pitch black. Overall, a breathtaking experience and highly recommended, and a great company to do it with. Staff really helpful and informative.

Absolutely top draw. The staff we very helpful. The polit, was brilliant, taking us up close to all main buildings in NYC, inculding turning the helicopter through 180 degrees, so all passengers could get photos. This trip is a must do activity if your on holiday in NYC

The flight itself was great — long, smooth, and with beautiful views of Manhattan from the air. Choosing the 45-minute option definitely feels better than the 30-minute one. However, there are two important things to know: • The helicopter doesn’t fly directly over Manhattan or Central Park, which was a bit disappointing. • The heliport is quite far from Manhattan, and getting there by taxi or transfer is expensive, so the overall trip becomes costly. If you’re staying close to that airport, it’s a solid experience and gives you memorable views. But if you’re traveling from Manhattan, consider the total cost and the fact that you won’t fly through Central Park.

It was my first time riding in a helicopter and that part was great. However, I thought we'd see more of the city vs just the skyline, East/Hudson rivers etc. A 30min tour is literally 15mins in and 15mins back.

The take off to me was the most memorable, followed by the spectacular view. I love it. My children enjoyed every moment. At first my girl friend was nervous but she settled down quickly. Great way to see NYC.

Being in a helicopter above such an iconic city was thrilling. I felt completely safe the whole time. Our guide and pilot answered all our questions, though he wasn't as knowledgeable about the area as I would have liked. We started early and returned early and I don't think we got a full 45 minutes, but it was close. I feel like the experience was way too expensive and I will never do it again, but for once in a lifetime, we decided to pay the price. I will just never tell anyone how much we spent. Other than the value per buck, I would give this excursion 5 stars.

We live in Westchester, and all I can say is if you are also living or based in Westchester, and looking for the easiest, smoothest and best helicopter experience of New York City, look no further. The facilities are fantastic, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and safety is their priority. We were extremely impressed, and it's awesome value compared with other companies too. 5 stars!

Riding in a helicopter should be on everyone’s bucket list, and you should do it with Wings Air. Not because I traveled with them, but because they are unparalleled in their ability to provide a top notch experience.

This was the greatest! No delays. We took off and had the immediate full impact of being above everything. Really puts the sights into perspective. Up close and personal to the Statue of Liberty. Our pilot, Avital, was great and took very good care of us. Highly recommended.

The tour was amazing. We’ve started from a small airport, and after a short brief we started. This is my second helicopter tour over Manhattan, but it was so much better. We flew right over the Central Park, got close to the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building. If you want the helicopter tour, you definitely should choose this one.

We (5 friends) booked a 30 minutes trip... BUT the heliport is 25 miles from Manhattan. So we had to book a transport to and from the Airport ... this add $200 to the bill plus Airport taxes $235 ... that brings the tour to $400 per pax. As the heliport is quite far from Manhattan we spend 2/3 of the fly to go to and from New York. So approx. 10 minutes above Manhattan. We didn't fly over lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty neither Brooklyn Bridge ...

This tour was absolutely beautiful! We did at night time tour (7pm) so we could see the city at night. The views are amazing and a once in a life time experience. I proposed which made the event that much more special! The staff was professional and very accommodating. I highly recommend!

The pilot arrived late and we miss sunset view of Manhattan. It was dark, at night. Most of the ride wasn't over New York. The pilot was friendly but the tour was so poor because he was late and because of the limited time over Manhattan. We don't recommend this tour. Better take of at the city to get more over Manhattan. The pilot arriving late ruined our sunset view. I wasn't see the city, because of my window. I thought the pilot must turning over at some point to everyone has the best view, but he didn't. He just left the city as soon as he arrived at New York.

My wife and I had an amazing time flying with Wings Air Helicopters Charter. We departed from White Plains and journeyed towards Manhattan on what was one of the most amazing experiences. Seeing New York from that perspective, while flying with a first class pilot and serviced by an amazing team at Wings Air, made us feel so special on our anniversary. I got this experience through a online gift service called Cloud 9 Living. We were a few minutes late, but I thank the staff for being able to accommodate us so quickly. From the 30min. ride around New York City, to getting the chance to ride myself, it was truly a ride to remember! I recommend this experience for couples, friends, or families! Recieved voucher as birthday present from my mother.Booked tour for early November ride hoping to see fall foliage. BEST pilot Ive ever had on helicopter tour. Treated everyone like royalty.He was also kind enought to take pictures of us outside of helicopter and from start to finish the entire experience was wonderful.Definately going back for the tour that allows us to be the pilot.

We would really recommend this provider. There were only two of us flying privately. Not only do you see the usual sights, but you fly over Bronx, Harlem, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Central Park, etc., as well as over the green "bacon belt" with the very well-kept houses, golf courses, hotels. The 45-minute flight is highly recommended and the approximately 1 hour drive from Manhattan to the meeting point can be accepted. The staff is very friendly, courteous and flexible.
