Jeremy was a standout guide, we had an excellent experience, learnt so much and was so easy to talk to. 5 stars! Would go again
What an amazing tour! Anyone can walk the High Line, but to have the history, timeline and details associated with this project made it all the more relevant and worthwhile. Jeremy, our guide, was considerate, knowledgeable, and eager to answer our many questions! We highly recommend this tour - what a great history lesson of the Meatpacking District and getting a glimpse in to the future in this area of NYC!
The tour was interesting, I'm sure having a guide made it more enjoyable but compared to other guides we have encountered he was a little dry.
This tour was a wonderful experience. I learned so much about the history of NYC and about this brilliant urban renewal and artistic project. Hats off to Jeffrey who was a warm and knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed this tour very much and highly recommend it.
Surprisingly we enjoyed this, started at Hudson Yards and walked only a short distance but it was refreshing. It is hidden in between housing and businesses. Some very expensive looking properties. It is a great place to get away from the hectic NYC.
Very informative; learned so much! Easy walking. Group was not too big (7). Always able to hear our guide. I would definitely use this tour company again.
Excellent tour. The guide was very well educated on the areas we were seeing and used photos to enhance his presentations on the historical aspects of the places we visited. He also answered every question wonderfully.
What an enriching experience to have a tour guide! Great historic photos and information. The guide was wonderful. He pointed out views that we had missed in the past. We now have a full appreciation of the Highline and surrounding area.
New York never ceases to amaze me and the High Line Walking Tour is an excellent way to see the city's West Side from the height of a rail bridge. Here, there are floral arrangements in a garden-like setting that is a treat from the grit of the concrete city. Plants aplenty along with the flowers make this is a delightful walk. The best walk is to head south from Hudson Yards and head for the trendy Meatpacking District taking in the street life along the way.
Very interesting plus the tour guide was excellent. We were especially interested in the History of the area which the tour guide explained very well...
Great way to take in the city. We started with lunch at Bubby's which is at the start of the High Line. Fantastic food! Then we were able to walk off the calories on this elevated, artsy walk along the forgotten railroad tracks. The transformation is well done. We only did a one way trip because we wanted to end up at the Vessel.
We enjoyed our walking tour of Highline Park and Hudson Yards with Jeremy. he was very informed and interesting. Because the day was cloudy with a threat of rain the other couple backed out and we ended up with a private tour. I had never been to Highline park and was amazed at what they have done with this area as well and all the new construction at Hudson yards. Would recommend this tour to anyone there is a lot of walking involved but very enjoyable.
I enjoyed the Highline so much and I love how this space was repurposed. First, pleasant surprise, it is ADA accessible with elevators to get up and down if you can't take stairs. The path is smooth and appropriate for wheelchairs. There are lots of benches on the path if you need a break. I enjoyed that the path goes in and out of shady green spaces and has a food market stop around half-way along. You can see so much amazing architecture from this vantage point and will definitely want your camera. You can start or end at Hudson yards or the Whitney museum and get off at several points. Supposedly there are restrooms at Gansevoort and at 16th, but we never saw signs and didn't know when we were at those crossroads. The only way they could improve the Highline is to add restroom signage at those points to direct people accordingly.
Very upscale eateries and shops in the neighborhood now (Neiman Marcus, Cartier) so you can walk the high line, then have a bite and do some shopping. A bit overcrowded since it’s the newest thing right now.
We’re fortunate to tour the just opened (partially completed) Hudson Yards on this NYC visit. Incredibly I could find no mention of the new landmark on TripAdvisor (other than a misplaced review on the Vessel under Hudson hotel). It’s always frustrating to set up a new place on TA. We took the 7 train to reach here on its first weekend and this amazing space was super jam-packed with tourists. The bucket-shaped copper color structure looks especially eye catching We tried take-out early dinner at Belcampo on level 4 (RU 401B) of the Mall. Long wait but well worth it. The organic natural burgers (beef and lamb) were just sumptuously tasty. The fries cooked in duck fat nicely complemented the farm fresh meat. A simple, great meal. Not pricy ($16) for a burger of this quality!

This was a fantastic walking tour of the High Line, our guide Jeremy brought the history to life, and explained how they made it into a park. It's gorgeous and so cool! We also saw the growing new Hudson Yards area, which is this new mini-city they're building by the water. A great tour to discover several interesting areas.

Walking through an elevated linear park is a great experience, where a greenway and a railroad trail more than 2 kilometers long created on an old branch of the New York Central Railroad takes us to enjoy nature and offers fantastic views of the Hudson River and the New York City skyline on the west side of Manhattan, where one can find during the walk beautiful sculptures, places to snack in addition if we want to rest we have numerous benches throughout the tour.
You have to go to Hudson Yards and climb the Vessel which is divine. The whole area is beautiful. Then by the High Line go to Chelsea Market, it is worth the tour because it is very interesting, you should not stop doing it.
To walk from North to South and viciversa from 12 street to 36 street. Entertaining walk, no traffic lights to cut you off and raised. A linear park indeed. It is worth doing so at least once during your visit to Manhattan. And now the Hudson Yards is added, a new viewpoint not very high, but not to be missed over the West
Old train line disabled, which turned into a suspended garden! A beautiful walk in the middle of modern buildings, and a beautiful blooming garden! It is worth the tour in spring and summer! There weren't many tourists the day I went.
