Itinerary
Your tour starts with a visit to Little Island, a unique public park located on the Hudson River at Pier 55. Opened in 2021, it features a striking design with tulip-shaped concrete pillars rising from the water, creating an elevated green space. The park spans 2.4 acres and offers scenic views, landscaped gardens, winding pathways, and open lawns. It also hosts an amphitheater for live performances and various cultural events. Little Island serves as a tranquil urban oasis, blending nature, art, and community engagement in the heart of Manhattan.
Then, you wil head to The Meatpacking District, a trendy neighborhood located on Manhattan's west side. Originally an industrial area known for its meatpacking plants, it has transformed into a vibrant hotspot for fashion, art, and nightlife. The cobblestone streets are lined with high-end boutiques, chic restaurants, and stylish hotels. The district is also home to cultural landmarks like the Whitney Museum of American Art and the southern entrance to the High Line, an elevated urban park. The Meatpacking District blends historic charm with modern luxury, making it a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
Your next stop is at Chelsea Market, a bustling indoor marketplace located in the heart of the Chelsea neighborhood. Housed in a historic former Nabisco factory, the market offers a diverse array of food vendors, artisanal shops, and unique retailers. Your guide will tell you about all the things you can enjoy there, from gourmet groceries to international cuisines, as well as local craft items and specialty products. With its industrial-chic vibe and eclectic mix of offerings, Chelsea Market is a popular destination for food lovers and shoppers alike. You will be able to know all about it before heading back there after your tour. The time constraint does not allow for a thorough visit of the market nor time to shop.
Your next stop is a wonderful piece of creativity! The High Line is a linear park built on a former elevated railroad track on Manhattan's west side. Stretching 1.45 miles from the Meatpacking District to Hudson Yards, the park offers lush gardens, art installations, and sweeping views of the city and Hudson River. The High Line is a unique urban green space that blends nature with the industrial history of New York City, making it a popular spot for walking, relaxing, and enjoying the outdoors.
After that lovely High Line walk, time for your last stop of the tour: Hudson Yards. It is a cutting-edge development on Manhattan's west side, renowned for its iconic attractions, The Vessel and The Edge. The Vessel is a striking, honeycomb-like structure composed of interconnected staircases, offering visitors unique perspectives and panoramic views of the city. Nearby, The Edge stands as the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, extending 100 floors above the ground with a glass floor section for an exhilarating view straight down. These landmarks, along with luxury shopping and dining, make Hudson Yards a must-visit destination in NYC.
After saying goodbye to your guide in Hudson Yards, continue your experience at Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. Before stepping onto the observation deck, enjoy Edge's immersive new experience featuring mirrored skyline reflections, hundreds of color-changing globes, and New York City's largest kaleidoscope room, all set to original music. Then emerge onto the open-air sky deck, suspended 1,131 feet above the city. Feel as though you are floating above Manhattan as you walk onto the glass floor, lean against the angled glass walls, and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the skyline, the Hudson River, and beyond. The perfect finale to a journey through New York City's constant reinvention, Edge offers an unforgettable perspective on the city's past, present, and future.

Wonderful walk in nature above the city streets, with lots of labeled native trees and plants. Our guide Kevin was fantastic. Took a lot of time to answer our questions.
This was my first time visiting the high line and Hudson Yards. The guide shared al little History of the meat packing and the role Gansevort area played I enjoyed it. Hudson Yards unbelievably was built so fast and inside looked like 3 shopping malls.
The tour said to be there 15 minutes early and we were. Like clockwork, Cheri was right there waiting with that orange hat. Easy peasy! Got the lay of the land , in the Hudson Yards Hi-Line area. Cheri was very good with the history, architecture and sights of the area. Got some good tips on what to do after the tour (we did go back to Chelsea Market and Lobster House, YUM!). Aloha and Mahalo Cheri!
Had an enlightening tour with Cherie walking from the Whitney Art Museum to Moynihan Station via the High Line. Her in depth knowledge of the area was fascinating and opened up a part of New York were knew little about. We will certainly go back to Chelsea Market the next time we visit.
Do not book this tour! We showed up on time (early actually) and our tour guide never showed up. When trying to resolve this the operator continually lied and said they tried contacting us but they didn’t and refused to issue us a refund. Totally shady business and zero customer service care. Don’t waste your money.
This was a delightful tour that highlighted an interesting area of NYC. Our tour guide was Mike, a born-and-bred New Yorker who offered lots of insights about the city. This tour was a bargain for what we enjoyed.
Kevin was a great guide. I always think it’s good idea to have someone show you round. This way you don’t miss anything… and you near a little too
This is a really cool experience. The only problem is that they block off different access points, and they do not let you know when you book whether the elevator is working. On the particular day we went, the elevators were not working, and my husband had recently had knee surgery, so walking up eight flights of stairs was not an option. They did refund his ticket, which I appreciated, but it definitely took away from the experience for me because I did not go to the top. I would not have wanted to go up alone because I am terrified of heights, but if my husband had been able to go with me, I would have felt much more comfortable. I just wish they had let us know ahead of time that the elevators were not working.
Great guide, informational, and well paced. It's an interesting and historical area of Manhattan and worth a visit.
This was a wonderful tour and what made it so special was our tour guide Jeff because he had so many interesting stories and facts about the area that made it fascinating! Of course the Edge was fantastic with great views all over!!
I booked this tour to celebrate my mother's birthday. Come to find out, our guide Jose birthday was the following day! He made a lot of funny jokes about how Virgo's are the best and everyone on the tour said what their sign was and from that moment on, the entire group bonded. So, we knew this was going to be a great tour right from the start. During the tour, Jose was very knowledgeable and you can tell that he loves his job. The meeting point was very easy to find. Right at the entrance of the park under the big arch...you can't miss it. We walked at a good pace. Jose was able to answer all of our questions and even if he didn't know, he looked it up. To top it all off, we had wonderful weather! It was a great experience and a birthday my mom will never forget. Highly recommend.
Sarah, our guide was very patient and informative...a lovely day spent with my daughter and Sarah as our guide😍
We were lucky enough to have the tour guide Cherie all to ourselves. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke in depth about a lot of the history of what we were shown eg meat packing district and Chelsea Markets. There is quite a bit of walking and stairs but the pace of the tour is medium pace. We had included the option of ‘The Edge’ which was a highlight.
Tour was for my cousins from Italy. They loved every minute and their guie Ron was wonderful.
Ron is the best tour guide ever! So nice go walking through the high line and having the best experience in NYC. He is so kind and professional!
Ron was our guide! It was the best guided tour experience!! Thank you Ron and NY!!
Awesome experience touring the High Line! Sam was knowledgeable, engaging, and an absolutely wonderful guide. We highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in viewing the area and learning about the history of the High Line.
Great experience. Lots of information. Our guide was great.
Ron was great. Knew a lot. Nice guy.
Excellent guide! Fun and informative
Our guide was outstanding! We unfortunately had a rainy day, and Ron blew right past that and gave us an upbeat. Happy guided tour. is a remarkable wealth of New York City information. He was extremely solicitors and made the trip a pleasure.
Jeff was charming and very informative. It was a great small trip - thoroughly recommend
Out tour guided by Kevin was 100 out of 10. It was super interesting, informative, tourist oriented, with nice sense of humour and personal stories back in history. Kevin is amazing . Definitely recommend it, visiting this area by yourself will never give you this knowledges.
Debi is phenomenal. I had an absolutely blast walking around the city with her. I learned so much about the history of the city!
Our family took the High Line, Chelsea and Hudson walking tour with Kevin. Talk about a knowledgeable tour guide. He filled our tour with history, insider and personal stories, art and knowledge that only a native New Yorker would know. 10/10, highly recommended!
An enthusiastic knowledgeable guide who talked us through our tour pointing out monuments and artwork we would never have noticed our selves
Great tour with Rob this morning :) Really knowledgeable and very relaxed. A great intro to the history of the HighLine and the Meatpacking district
Absolutely nice experience we will do it again . He explained all the places were we were . We had the chance of visiting parts of NY we never saw
It was a very enjoyable walk and the guide made it really entertaining. Truly showed us parts of the city we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise
1. There was only one issue, but it was a major problem. The instructions for the location to meet were very poor...the locations (Cunard site and pier 54) DO NOT EXIST. We arrived 30 min early, walked all around and could not find out guide. We showed instructions to local people, landscapers who work in the area, ...no one knew where it was. Did not see anyone with a flag during this time. The only way we connected was by a phone call from booking agent who stayed on the line while talking to the guide. When we finally connected, he did have a small orange flag. I recommend meeting at the entrance to the bridge going to the island. It is easily identifiable by the large groups of white structures all around the island and over the bridge. 2. Ron, our guide was very knowledgeable. He was also very kind and aware of the outdoor conditions...sunny and 94 degrees. We were the only people on the tour. He continually checked to see if we were ok with walking in the heat, stopped in shaded areas whenever possible, and kept a slower pace. We lingered in the air conditioned areas. 3. We enjoyed learning about the history of the areas we visited. The High Line was especially nice. We arrived at our last stop, The Edge, a little early. Ron assisted us in exchanging our tickets for an earlier time so we did not have to wait. Overall it was a good tour that focused on this specific area of the city. 4. Last suggestion....we could hear Ron without any difficulty since it was just the two of us with him, but larger groups would benefit from a system with earpiece and a microphone for him.
Debi did an excellent job informing and entertaining the group. Only slight problem at the Edge as only 7 tickets were accounted for in our group of 8 people who had all prepaid.
We ended up having a private tour with Kevin of the Highline. Saw a peaceful piece of NYC that I didn’t even know existed. Very knowledgeable. Would recommend
Cherie was absolutely amazing! Super knowledgeable and took us to amazing places. She took us to nooks and crannies we would have never known to see. Great tour over all! Highly recommend!
This was an informative and entertaining tour. Sam, our guide, is a local, very well spoken and educated . He answered questions that were not directly related to this specific tour. He knows his city in and out and he shared his enthusiasm about it with us. I recommend this tour- ask for Sam!
Our guide Ben was right on time and the directions to find him at the meeting place were precise. Ben was informative and took us at a good pace. Interesting way to experience the city as it was much quieter and relaxing on the High Line. The Edge experience was fine but it was a bit overcast which dampened our views a bit. Overall it was worth it o have a guide.
I really liked the walk through of Little Island, some of Meat Packing, Chelsea Shops, the High Line, Hudson Yards and then getting to go up to the top of the Edge. It was great. I really appreciated the history from our guide, Ron.
This tour is well worth doing, giving you an alternative view of New York and its history. The walk itself is around 2 hours and is completed with a visit to The Edge, giving spectacular views of the City. All well worth the money. As for OUR GUIDE ROB, he was fantastic. Personable, amusing and extremely knowledgable, even telling us funny stories about his own experiences of living in the area. I would definitely recommend this trip and this company.
Was a great experience and you learn a lot
