Very informative tour, Lloyd and Jessie were very informative and friendly. Made sure our tour was comfortable. They showed us all the historic sites in Harlem that we wanted to see and some we were not even aware of. I really appreciate their patience, being our first time visiting NY, we got turned around on the subway which caused us to be late. They guided us by phone and came to another stop to pick us up. Thank you so much for that! Will be back again with our kids and will do it again! P.S. He’s also a great photographer, took some awesome pictures of us!

I booked a Harlem Van Tour to do something a little different with my lady, and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was a nice way to spend some quality time together while learning about Harlem and seeing some of the historic spots. Lloydnwas cool, the ride was comfortable, and they even had snacks, water, and some really good Jess the Best Iced Tea. My lady had a great time, and that's what mattered most to me. Definitely something I'd recommend for couples looking for a different kind of date. We had a good time and would do it again!
I had an amazing experience with Harlem Van Tours! The tour was informative, fun, and filled with beautiful sights and interesting Harlem history. The ride was comfortable, Lloyd was very friendly and professional, and the hospitality was exceptional! They even provided complimentary snacks, water, and delicious Jess the Best Iced Tea, which I absolutely loved! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend Harlem Van Tours to anyone looking to explore Harlem in comfort and style.
Lloyd is the best. He made the tour great. He educated us on the knowledge of the people and the history of the area. Great tour!
Completely Awesome. So glad I was able to see all I had heard about. Well worth it.
Great experience!!! Guide is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Had many stops and Photo opportunities. Definitely worth it. Great Harlem History lesson!
Lloyd grew up in the neighborhood and was extremely knowledgeable. He was pleasant and considered our needs. It was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this tour.
This tour was an excellent tour. Lloyd was so courteous and kind and very knowledgeable about Harlem. This was a comfortable riding tour of Harlem. I would recommend this tour to everyone.
DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. We had an extremely disappointing experience. We sent multiple messages while we were on our way and arrived at the exact location where the tour was supposed to begin. The tour operator never showed up, there was no tour van, and we received no proper communication explaining what was happening. We wasted our time traveling to the meeting point for a tour that never happened. Based on our experience, I would not recommend booking this tour.
Fantastic tour!! Lloyd has phenomenal energy, and as a native New Yorker, his insight was even more impactful. Recommend this tour for elders who have trouble walking for long periods of time. My parents, who are in there mid to late 70s, truly enjoyed it.
My in-laws are 70+ and we wanted to introduce them to Harlem. Without Llyod’s tour we wouldn’t have been able to do so - walking tours would have been too tough. Llyod offered a well-rounded tour, including the Apollo, Yankee’s Stadium, and Rucker Park!
This van tour is a great opportunity to visit sites pertaining to Harlem's culture, architecture, art, history, scenic beauty, and sports achievements. They're many stops for photos and looking around. Lloyd is an excellent tour guide who shares his personal memories of life in Harlem and changes through the decades. He truly cares about his customers and ensures everyone has a great experience.
The Harlem van tour was truly exceptional! We saw so many historic sights throughout Harlem and beyond. Our tour guide, Lloyd, grew up in Harlem and is raising his family there. So he knows the history and locations first-hand. He enhances the experience with informational videos on a tv screen. We also had many opportunities to get out for photos and to see important sites. The tour covered much more than would be possible on a walking tour. Highly recommended!
Very nice We saw a great many things
I really enjoyed our tour! The tour guide was very accommodating, a lot of historical points and information. I would definitely recommend trying this tour.
Super knowledgeable about Harlem and very personable. Harlem is so cool!
Tour guide was excellent. Went above and beyond our expectations!!! He took us on a long tour and since he grew up in the area he knew the area well.
The tour guide was great, very personable and knowledgeable of the Harlem area. Harlem is filled with so much history! My favorite moment of the tour was Central Park, Alexander Hamilton house and The Cotton Club, Bojangles Community Park, Rucker Park, Big L mural (Harlem Hip Hop Legend). We had enough time to take as many pictures as we wanted to. I would definitely book again if I come to visit with other family members. We had a great time, however there was no a/c on the van and needs an upgrade. But other than that everything was wonderful!
What a day! Gospel, food…amazing sites I never thought I would ever get a chance to see. Kids loved it, parents loved it. Highly recommend to anyone young or old.
Fantastic and fun tour! A great way for a first time visitor to Harlem to jam a lot in, that would not be possible in an afternoon walking. Kids loved it, adults loved it. Highly recommend.
They went above and beyond for us! Very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable.
We had an enjoyable tour around the sights of Harlem. Our guide, Lloyd, was informative, entertaining and made us very comfortable. There were lots of photo stops. A lovely afternoon, thankyou
Hands down one of the best touring experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and full of great energy. The tour was well organized, comfortable, and gave such a real, memorable experience of Harlem. You could tell the company truly cares about making sure guests have an amazing time, and it showed in every detail. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole ride feel personal instead of just another tour. If you’re looking for a van tour company in Harlem, I highly recommend this one — easily one of the greatest experiences I’ve had while touring.

We really enjoyed our recent exploration of Harlem with Lloyd our guide & Harlem Historic Sites Guided Van Tours. The guide was very engaging & excited to share Harlem with us.He was flexible & customized the trip to accommodate our specific interests. He went out of his way to assure that we thoroughly enjoyed our adventure exploring Harlem.
Despite the rain, the Harlem Van Tour was very enlightening and educational. Lloyd and Jessie were wonderful guides. They took us to many popular spots in Harlem where we were able to get out and take pictures. We saw Central Park; the Holcombe Rucker Park where many famous basketball players once played; the Frederick Douglass statue; the Cotton Club; graffiti walls; and much more. This was a very intimate tour with my family members, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The tour was amazing! I saw so many sites, didn’t feel cheated and the service was excellent! What a comfortable ride and the guy was funny too! This is definitely a great experience for someone who wants to tour Harlem! Glad I didn’t have to walk to tour greatness!
