Maddie was our guide for the History of Greenwich Village, she was extremely knowledgeable, included so many facts about the area, buildings and history. We were fascinated! We loved visiting some of the city’s iconic hot spots while hearing the fascinating stories that put them on the map. This tour is an absolute must!

Totally unaccommodating and uncaring about safety of customers. We were looking forward to this tour and had booked through go city. As we were leaving the hotel(in plenty of time) my partner slipped of the large curbs & sprained her ankle badly. I emailed prior to the time to say that the accident had made it unsafe to travel and we wouldn’t be able to make it , to not even receive a reply and a notification before the tour had even finished we had been charged the full price for the tour - very unprofessional in my opinion , this would have been free with our go city passes. They have been very unhelpful via email when I emailed to complain about being charged the full price claiming that their guide was also late and they had mailed us to say they where delayed , but again totally disinterested in my partners injury ! Whilst I appreciate there is a cancellation policy I feel there should be some flexibility when it comes to extreme unplanned incidents and the safety of customers should be paramount. We obviously could not have given more than the 2 days required notice as this was totally unexpected & my partner was mortified ! This is the only company we had issue with on the go city passes everyone else was very accommodating to the injury and allowed changes. We visited a total of 18 attractions with the excellent Go City Passes, but avoid Top Dog Tours , as they are anything but top Customer Service sadly

Joel did a magnificent job on this tour. He was kind, funny and emotional, shared a lot of interesting and inusual information, and made us feel amongst friends. I would strongly recommend it.

My wife and I did the Guided Walking Tour of Greenwich Village on the 18 July 2025. Our tour guide was Percy from Top Dog Tours NYC and she was fantastic. Her knowledge of Greenwich Village and its history was outstanding. She was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful experience walking through this neighborhood. Kaley was a great guide, providing information on the area, historical insights, and making it all very enjoyable. The tour takes about 2 hours, offering some breaks to let you experience a bit of what this place has to offer.

Our tour was guided by Kaylee (sorry if misspelled) and was absolutely fantastic! She knew her stuff, was kind, kept the tour interesting and was well spoken. What I really liked is that she even added some places or recommendations of her own. We were a smaller group, but don’t let that discourage you. Its what made it stand out instead of the usually crowded and “monotonous” tours. It was cozy, welcoming and Kaylee was more than eager to answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

We have spent very nice time with Kaylee in the Greenwich village. We have got so many interesting information, we would love to spend even more time and listen further… whole tour was fantastic and exciting even for teens…

We did the tour of New York’s Greenwich Village. Our guide, Michael, was well-informed about the city and on all the venues that have made jazz history and a good storyteller. We visited multiple places on a well-planned route and really got our money’s worth. I recommend the tour to see beautiful parts of the neighborhood.

Maddy was awesome! Great energy, she gave personally relevant insights of a lovely selection of stops around Greenwich village. She gave us time to get a quick and yummy culinary experience (no spoilers, but sweeeet). She took time in answering questions. The tour with a small group (under 10 people) was perfect and provided a more intimate experience.

Really nice tour to grab the sites and sounds of Greenwich Village. Brianna was a great tour guide and really made the tour her own. Overall we really enjoyed this tour, and being at night it meant we were able to pack a lot into the day.

The tour was not exactly what we expected and where we stopped for a drink was not the nicest of places given that we had pasted some better bars. It was like having a personal tour as they was only me and my wife and another couple. Brianna who led the tour was very good, polite , approachable, knowledgeable and just the right level of information.

Brianna gave us an excellent tour round Greenwich Village, it was really fun and informative. Really liked the mixture of history and insights into all spots in the village.

Best tour of our weekend NY, loved Connor as our guide. Very good donut stop (try the maple syrup croissant donut). We did not know what to expect of the tour and where blown away by the history of the neighbourhood.

A nice walk with a good guide. He knew a lot and made many stops to tell us something interesting. It was a nice evening activity to do! And the donuts at THE donutstop are incredible.

Excellent walking tour. The guide was knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable for everybody providing historical background, personal experience and interesting descriptions of the what we visited.

It was afantastic tour!!! Our guide Conner was incredibly friendly and not only knew well history but also made the group feel comfortable and gave us tips on where to go and eat.

Our guide Rachel was the best and gave us local tips and trivia along the way. We stopped at a fabulous Doughnut shop and Rachel took photos of us in the iconic Washington Square Park. Along the way, Rachel provided suggestions for nice eateries and bars. Rachel was happy to answer any questions we had about the different areas and provided in-depth backstories to the different stops we had along the way. Well worth the money and overall a greatly enjoyable experience.

Connor gave a great tour of Greenwich at night, so knowledgeable and passionate about the area. I learnt a lot plus also given great tips on where to eat and find entertainment in the distinct. Would definitely recommend the tour.

A lovely guided tour through Greenwich Village with Katie. She was a very friendly and well organized guide with a huge knowledge about the place. The tour was in a small group of about 12 people. So you had enough time to talk with your guide and ask as many questions. Katie was very helpful and gave a lot of additional suggestions (in which stand-up-comedy-show / which bars are the best / ...). The tour is included in the NewYork pass and is an interesting walk after the big museums. Be sure to dress properly (it could be cold) - although there was a brief stop to get a coffee or a slice of pizza. Enjoy your tour and the interesting information which comes along with it.

Katie was very informative and passionate about the area. She shared lots of things we wouldn't have known had we not this tour with her. We loved the area and this tour was the perfect way to get a glimpse of it in a short amount of time.
