Guided Central Park Bike Tours

We take bike tours in every city we visit and these were the worst bikes. Little tiny seats like a racer bike.

Central Park is beautiful and we learned a lot about Central Park history and saw so much on our bike journey.

Martin was a fantastic guide around Central Park. He made it one of the best bike tours I have done. He was very knowledgeable, super friendly and thoughtful about stops (taking a break, water). I had a great time and would recommend your tour the park with Martin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing and a super fun time. Did the 10 am start time and that was the correct choice as there wasn’t as many in the park as there started to be around 1-2. Our guide was top tier, friendly, and made sure everyone was keeping up and having a good time. Plus he was able to get some videos of us on the bikes as we went! All the destinations were great spots for views and pictures and plenty of history behind each one that was explained clearly. The ride itself wasn’t too strenuous but we also had a really nice day that helped make it that much better. Getting the bikes and to the place to start was a smooth and pretty efficient process. Overall worth EVERY penny!

Great way to learn about some of the highlights of Central Park. Our guide, Darryl was very experienced and knowledgeable about the park, its history and the many movies filmed there. He encouraged us to ask questions and kept our tour moving at a good pace - neither too fast or too slow.

Really fun and informative tour. Our guide was excellent and was really knowledgeable, great fun and able to answer all of our questions. I had not ridden a bike for years but he was very patient, kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Our your guide was extremely knowledgeable. He was very accommodating and had great conversation skills. Our tour was just us two so we ended up getting a private guide. We took a lot of pictures but our guide was nice enough to wait for us to do so. The tour gave a history of Central Park as you rode around. I would recommend if you want to maximize your time and not have to plan all of the stops on your own

I’ve used the Viator app for Europe and it was great. I used it in NYC and it didn’t disappoint! We had the best tour guide named Martin. You could tell he loves the work. His passion for the outdoors and telling us a story each place we went in Central Park was so cool. What made this tour extra special is there were only 4 of us, so the tour felt special. It was also John Lennon’s birthday! Yes, my husband and I are huge Beatles fans. Strawberry field had groups all day singing his music and Martin gave history on the Dakota. It was AWESOME! Loved it - don it! Oh by the way October was the perfect time to go.

When we arrived at the bike shop,we were the only 2 on the tour. Our guide J J was a great guide. He adapted our tour so that we got to see more of central park than the normal tour would see, because there was only the two of us. It was a beautiful day and we couldn't think of a better way to spend a couple of hours when in New York.

JJ was awesome showing the group all the little paths off the beaten trail. We would never have found these special movie sites, statues and views!!!!!

My wife and I had a great time bicycling Central Park with our guide Martin. He is a knowledgeable and passionate New Yorker. We saw all the major sights and learned more about their history. We’re experienced riders but still appreciated his emphasis on safety. The bikes worked well and the shop is just a couple of blocks to the park. Highly recommended.

What an amazing tour! JJ was super friendly, knowledgeable and gave us time to explore some stops waiting patiently and always with a smile. Nothing was too much for him. Definitely recommend the tour. Lots to see and enjoy!

So easy, the guys in the shop were very friendly and helpful. They gave us all the good tips on where to go in Central Park and marked everything on a map. We had a great time over 3 hours tooling around and seeing the sights. Highly recommend!

Martin was a great guide. He shared so much of his knowledge of NYC and he was very personable. It was only our family of 4 so it was like a private tour. This was a great way to see Central Park.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour! We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour and were guided around the park with numerous stops at some famous and not as well known areas. Darrell was a great guide, he was full of fascinating information and facts about the park’s history, surrounding buildings and famous residents, movies filmed here and much more! A lot packed into 2 hours! We loved it!

Super friendly manager/owner of bike shop. We had the tour to ourselves. It was good to be taken round the park by a guide to see the best bits. Would recommend

The bikes worked well. The check-in process was good. There was 1 issue that was partly beyond the control of the tour operator - we spent the first 15-20 minutes walking our bikes because of crowds. There was 1 issue that caused the lower rating - it was impossible to hear the tour guide because he talked as we rode or we were spread out and he couldn't project over the crowd/city noise. The tour operator needs to invest in small radios/earbuds (like a walking tour). If it hadn't been for the inability to hear, the tour would have gotten a higher review.

Everything was perfect. The employees on the store were very kind and helpful. Our guide was excellent, very helpful and communicative.

The guide was knowledgeable. He made sure we saw all the sites of note in the park and stopped to let us explore a little as well. Very friendly and easy to understand.

This was a great experience. We saw the entire park and got some exercise as well. Our guide Nikos was fabulous. He was informative and funny and really helped with the photo taking. I’ve lived outside the city my whole life and have been to Central Park on numerous occasions, but still learned something new.

We had a wonderful tour! God was amazing full of lots of history and tips for enjoying the rest of the city. We went on a weekday so central Park wasn’t too crowded. However, I’m glad we were in pretty decent shape because it was a little bit of a workout on some of the hills, but very manageable. We absolutely loved this tour. It was the highlight of our trip!

Darryl, our tour guide for Central Park Cycling, is truly amazing. First, it was supposed to be a small group tour and ended up just being the two of us. Darryl owns the company that supplies the tour guides, so he came in the place of an employee. He used an electric scooter, which made it much easier for him to check up on us on our bikes while looking backwards. This was good because there are a lot of people and carriages and other bikes, which makes cycling in Central Park a bit of an obstacle course. He stopped at 8 spots and talked in depth about the history of the park in relation to NYC, in great detail about the visible buildings and their famous occupants and associated history, and much more. Halfway through, I told Darryl that I was truly amazed at his depth and breadth of knowledge about almost everything. From movie stars to geology to Park flora and fauna, also the cityscape, architecture, sculptures, park engineering, and park commerce. I do not think there was a question that he did not have an in-depth answer to. With our happy permission, he went 45 minutes overtime on the tour. Even then he said we had only covered 10 percent of the park. It is clear that he loves Central Park and has devoted his life and career around it. The tour was arranged through Cycle Park NYC, near by the Park, which supplies the bikes (and helmets on request). The pickup and dropoff was easy and pleasant, the bikes were a good way to get around the Park quickly. Highly recommend!

The tour was great. Leo, our guide, was amazing—informative and entertaining. The breeze from riding a bike in the heat helped to keep us cool. Would definitely recommend the tour.

The bikes were comfortable and good quality. The tour guide, JJ, was excellent! My husband and I were both happy we decided to get a tour of the park on bikes and with a guide. We learned and saw so much more! The only thing that could be improved is cleaning of the bathroom.

A great way to spend the morning cycling round Central Park in New York. The staff were friendly and the bikes very good and well set up for each person in our group. Solomon, our guide, was excellent - knowledgeable, friendly and humorous with nothing being too much trouble. He took his time and at no point did you feel rushed with plenty of time to take pictures at each stop of the tour. We would highly recommend this to anyone coming to New York.

Leo was an excellent guide and we had lots of fun with him. riding through Central Park he was a wealth of knowledge. The bikes need a little work. They don’t shift very well. And they need some tuneups.

My 15 year old daughter loved this experience and our tour guide, Solomon, was kind enough to take a video of her riding through Central Park. He took us to all the main tourist stops where we had the opportunity to take photos if we wanted.

Very good Bikes. Nice personnel! You get a Free map!. Kids need to ware helmets. Two hours is more then enough to see the highlights.

My husband and I rented bikes for Central Park but we wanted to beat the line at central park for rentals … thank goodness we did we got a GREAT price for 2 bikes .. staff was kind and nice and got on us our way quickly .. I highly recommend this place for rentals ! Bikes were easy to ride and comfortable seats !

Easy to book online. Super friendly service at pick up. Bikes were fine. Lock was really useful for stopping to explore the statues etc. Located just 2 blocks from the park entrance (cheaper than those at the gate) Lovely ride once you get further into the park. 3 hours was perfect
