Gospel Wednesday Music Concert In Harlem

Wonderful experience! Amazing choir! This church is located a block from my house and I am so glad I finally attended this event.

Experience was great! Great voices, in sync, good harmony, nice Holy Spirit filled folks, they have def been practicing together for a while. Sounded wonderful! Admission fee wasn’t too bad good. Length was 1 hour. Giro meet n greet, then take a pic with gospel singers. Sweet folks from area. Fun event, got up and clapped n danced. Well worth it…off beaten path. Safe area n good food in area. Etc.

What an incredible and heart warming experience! The singing was just beyond amazing, we loved every moment of it! Highly recommend!

We arrived at the church and there were no issues getting in: They were incredibly quick at getting everyone in and seated . We walked into what I can only describe as an oven. It was so incredibly hot in there that we felt poorly and had to leave after 30 minutes as we really couldn’t enjoy it.

I think it was kind of art that I Had to pay tips after I have had pay the entrance they where standing by the doors so people couldn't run but I had a wonderfull concert

Just an uplifting lovely experience. Everyone was perfect…great singers. Good choice of songs. Recommend highly to anyone who loves music and needs a touch of gospel.

Beautiful and fun experience in an iconic neighborhood. We are born and raised in the Bronx and it was nice to experience something different in our city. Choir was very uplifting and the church was very nice. I would recommend it!

This is not a choral, instead just a group of 5 people singing and pretending that is a official Baptist Cult just to collect addittional money, as everybody has already pay for the tickets. I am a Baptist member in my country and felt disappointed with them.

There were problems with the tickets. The order that we printed stated that ticketed were to be redeemed upon arrival but it was confusing for those in charge at the church. I thinks it’s better if you send the actual tickets with the email confirmation of the purchase.

I waited 30 years to experience a gospel service at church - it was worth the wait! I’m so glad we got to include this in our epic NY visit.

It was a fantastic experience. We sincerely enjoyed listening to and singing with the chorists. It was a warm, human experience that enjoined respect and tranquility while energizing our souls. Thanks to all the people who welcomed us and made this show possible.

The 4 female and 2 male singers did their best to make a party. And the entertainment factor was high. They constantly wanted the 250 persons audience to clap, which made it difficult to hear the singing especially when the microphones stopped working. Still they did well - could have been better if all could remember the lyrics they had to sing. With the expected donation at the end of the 60 minutes show covering «light and heating» one should think there was a little extra to pay for proper sound equipment when receiving 1000+ USD in the 1 hour show.

The gospel choir were outstanding, absolutely outstanding but the organisation of Viator was shockingly bad. We went to Harlem in the evening to the exact pin pointed location on the app. We arrived by 5.15 for a 5.30 start. We waited and waited, no sign of life. Eventually more people arrived to the WRONG LOCATION! We finally found out where we needed to be which was 25 MINUTES WALK AWAY! Terrible experience of booking, AMAZING experience to attend. Once you get there!

It's an amazing and exciting experience for everyone who loves American black music. The socioemotional climate is great, with impressive voices and a fantastic connection with the audience. It's a must-have for foreign visitors in New York.

Extraordinary gospel concert, everything was very well organized, the directions were very precise and everything turned out to be very easy.

Fabulous concert in the heart of Harlem. Simply divine voices, contagious atmosphere, and a dive into the roots of Afro-American culture.

My partner and I went and we liked it a lot. The concert is very entertaining, they really encourage the audience and get everyone to participate and stand up. You can feel a very good vibe from start to finish. Also, it is a very New York experience and a good excuse to get out of the center a bit and get to know another neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Unbearably loud. Only bearable with hearing protection. No singing, just screaming. An expensive, unpleasant experience.

Es war tolles Erlebnis und ein Mega schönes Konzert. Allerdings muss dringend die Wegbeschreibung geändert werden. Wir und andere Gäste sind 30 Minuten zu spät gekommen, weil der Treffpunkt/Wegbeschreibung nicht richtig hinterlegt ist.

Nous n’avons jamais trouvé l’église. Nous avons tourné dans le quartier pendant 45 min. Nous avions pris l’adresse sur le ticket. Vraiment très déçus. Perte de temps, d’argent..

The church was full of tourists for this gospel concert in Harlem. The six gospel singers and their music accompaniment, however, made a great effort to get the tourists on the pitch and create the right gospel atmosphere, with a call to get out of the seats and give gas with rhythmic tap. Good experience but probably not entirely authentic... All seats in the church have nice views and there was plenty of room for everyone, so no need to panic if you are not there the prescribed 30 minutes before the start. Please note that the Express Subway line is much faster than Local when you go all the way to Harlem from downtown.
