Beautiful fall colors in late October. Traveling from south to north the first half of the trip takes you by beautiful Douglas Fir tree farms. On the second half of the trip, the road drops down closer to the creek where the big leaf maples, dogwoods, and other beautifully colored trees grow. We were there for fall colors but I'll bet the spring and early summer scenery is delightful also. There is also some interesting geology.
We attempted to get on a boat at circle line and so many of the boat time are incorrect! We missed a boat on our last day and unable to see Statue of Liberty - they said they would refund 10percent of our tickets. Customer services was awful too, don’t trust their app
Brilliant pass, easy to use and great value for money! We ended up saving $200 overall on attractions! Definitely recommend!
We purchased Go CIty for the great value! However, we booked Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. One of the times available on the go city app was 3:15, we chose this time so we could make sure we completed the 9/11 museum prior. We were BEYOND DISAPPOINTED! We got on the ferry got to the statue of liberty as soon as we exited the ferry at the statue we asked when the ferry was to Ellis Island, and we were told there were NO MORE ferries, they were done for the day. Why do you give this time if you know that people cannot make it to Ellis Island???!! All the other attractions were great and they were easy to book on the Go City app
Booked the Go Via 3 attractions pass after researching all the different types. We had 4 full days so booked Empire State Building at sunset on first day.cost a bit extra but the pass was easy to use did One World observatory and then had the 2 day pass on the hop on hop off bus. I thought it was good value. Will use again when we return
The GoCity city pass was definitely worth it. I purchased admission for 6 attractions—some of which I discovered through this platform—and I’m so glad I did; I especially enjoyed the bus tour and the evening sightseeing cruise—both were absolutely wonderful! On top of that, I received complimentary Big Bus tickets, which was a fantastic bonus—we certainly put them to good use, as your feet really get tired in New York! Thank you; I highly recommend it to everyone.
The Go City pass was excellent giving us access to everything we wanted to do
Just want to share my experience of the Gocity pass and app as I have just had a very frustrating conversation with their customer service team. The app automatically ‘blocks off’ 3-4 hours for each visit once you reserve a slot. We went on the Statue of Liberty/Ellis island ferry tour at 13.45 but we just did the boat ride not the island tour as we wanted to go to the Empire State in the same afternoon. We were off the ferry by 3 and were trying to book a 3.50 slot at the Empire state which we could have easily made but the app would not allow us to. There is no way to override the 3 hour rule!!! As it was our last afternoon and the later slots were all booked up we didn’t get to visit the Empire State in the end and wasted 2 hours doing nothing until we were allowed to reserve something else. We came home only having used four of the five attraction passes that I had paid for. Customer service were unwilling to discuss a partial refund as a goodwill gesture. Very disappointed and would not recommend. Be warned.
Great tool for planning. Easy and friendly usage. Even the synch with other plataforms aa the one of Unlimited bike was eficient. Highly recommended
The purchase was very simple and quick! The attractions that required advance reservations were also easy and efficient to arrange. Overall, it’s definitely worth it—for the savings and convenience, and we didn’t even have to wait in line! Highly recommended!!
We bought the New York CityPASS before leaving the UK, and looking back it was definitely one of the better decisions we made for our four-day stay in New York. We used it for the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the American Museum of Natural History and the cruise down the Hudson to see the Statue of Liberty, before heading up the East River for some fantastic views of the Brooklyn Bridge. You do have to pre-book time slots, but we actually found that quite useful as it meant we could organise our days around the attractions we wanted to see. We were there in September and, on most occasions, arrived 30–40 minutes before our booked time. To our surprise, they were quite relaxed about it and let us in early, which made things even easier. Another big advantage was not having to queue up to buy tickets when we arrived. When you're trying to fit a lot into four days, that can make a real difference. And then there's the money saving. Once we'd used the pass for three attractions, we'd already covered what we'd paid for it compared with buying tickets individually. Everything after that was effectively a saving. For us, it worked really well. We saw some of New York's biggest attractions, avoided wasting time buying tickets and saved money in the process. If you're planning a sightseeing-heavy trip to New York, I'd definitely look at the CityPASS before you go.
Convenient and everything well - organized.
Everything was awesome, we saw all the sights we wanted to, the staff was very kind making sure we enjoy our trip, its important for some sights to book a time slot beforehand.
Easy to use in the app. Had no problems entering attractions using app. Booked the Edge for sunset which can get very crowded. Visited 9/11 museum and Madame Tussauds. Had early morning time for a previous visit which was a lot more relaxed. It did save us a lot of money which we’re happy with. Would use it again
Overall value for money. Statue of liberty Island was included in package, however we didn't know until we reached the island that going up on statue was not included. This was bit disappointing. Maybe should have been explained better.
We have used Go City a couple of times now for different cities and the experience has been great. The list of attractions is very comprehensive. For our most recent trip to NYC, we used the all inclusive 7 day pass which kept us busy with many options to choose from for the entire week. The passes are so convenient and easy to use. We will definitely be using Go City for any trip we take where the pass is available.
Not sure of savings, however, having tickets and booking all in the same app for various attractions was a big plus. Even if not savings, the app alone is worth booking. Just need to be mindful that some attractions require additional costs for different experiences (which is clear when booking and you can even upgrade when booking).
We had a fantastic experience with the Go City Pass. Definitely recommend, it offers value for money and access to all the major tourist hotspots.
Great way to see all the sights of NYC with just one ticket!
The pass is very convenient to have, all those great options to choose from that really help you to organize your trip. Sometimes at a location the code won't go through, but they always let you in because they know the Go City pass. I was very happy that I got it.
My experience with Go City was great! The pass made it easy to visit several attractions in New York and saved me time and money. I really liked having different options to choose from, and it made planning my trip much easier. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting New York.
Don't consider this pass GET IT!!! Absolutely superb from beginning to end, easy to use / informative and value for money, if you want to fit in lot's of attractions and save $ this is the pass when visiting New York. We will recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who asks. Thank you GoCity for adding to our memorable experience.
I saved a lot of money thanks to this pass. It’s simple, fast, and very easy to use on a smartphone
This definitely worked out cheaper than paying for each individual activity. We did the Big bus tour, The 9/11 museum, Top of the rock, landmarks cruise and a full day bicycle rental. Everything went very smoothly using the app
Great experience no hassel worth every cent
Pass worked great at every attraction. We visited 8 in two days and saved $200 each. Great way to see the city.
If you’re on the fence about purchasing, just do it. These passes for our family saved us hundreds of dollars and made every activity we planned so easy. From choosing your destinations in the app, scheduling times if needed, and the ease of a quick scan for most places to enter made the whole experience a seamless process. I will definitely use it again when we take a return trip.
Did 14 attractions saving over $1k
In general, the value for money was ok and the use of the pass perfect, but I’m really disapointed with the transparency of the opinions. I tried to leave a review of one attraction. It was a bad review, we did not like it and felt a bit cheated on. I left the review and gocity rejected it, you gave me another chance…I softened my review of the attracktion 3 times and you always rejected it. At the end of my trip, even though the pass worked perfect and the valué for money was also good…I felt like you are tourist trap. You are lying to the people, you do not public bad reviews…so how can people trust you? It’s first and last time I will use go city. This is not fair. If an attraction was not good, is was not good…the review was on the atracción not on gocity..I cannot understand which is the problem. Just tell the truth “only good reviews please”. It’s like a joke. Never again!! Never recomend you!
The city go pass was amazing! My son turned 16 and wanted to do NY for the day. City Go made it so easy to maneuver around. We did the Moma, Natural History museum and Empire State. City Go even put a timer on my phone for Empire State because we reserved a time. The Moma even had a City Go kiosk where we could print out tickets. We are going back in 2 weeks and I will definitely be using the app again! In fact I’ll always use it now for travel when doing tourist type things. Overall a 10 out of 10! Thank you!
Was only able to visit 4 out of 5 attractions and had to pay for entry into the 5th as pass wouldn’t work.
Since we like to see as much as possible when visiting a new place, I definitely think the Go City Pass was a godsend for the two of us during our trip to New York City. We tried to make the most of it, visiting up to five attractions included in the pass per day. Even though our feet were burning by the end of the day (because we love walking), I think we'll definitely use it again on our future vacations!
This was a great way to save some money! Our group knew there were a lot of things we wanted to see in NYC and it can add up quickly if you buy everything individually. We were excited to find this option to save some money and keep our bookings organized!
We did everything we planned thanks to GoCity
Good value for money for a family
We perched to Go City pass and found it good value for money.
Great City Pass, tons of options, have told family and friends. Saved some money too. Loved that it wasn’t limited by number of attractions but time and the app was great for creating and changing an itinerary on the go. I used mine for x4 Skyscrapers, NY Rise, Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island, Cruises on the Hudson, Wall Street Tour, 5 Burroughs Tour and more. Great Value for the money, probably saved 30-40% from buying individually.
Absolutely fabulous, not only do you save money it's so easy to amend bookings if running late or something unexpected happens. It rained heavily the 1 day so the visibility was poor at the edge viewing platform. We were able to amend the booking at the building and went the next day when the weather was stunning. So easy to do and entered all the other attractions without problems. Would definitely recommend
The disappointments were 1. First time visitor with family to NY and bought the 4-choice pass in the morning. It took a good 2 hours for Viator to get the tickets across digitally. 2. Then on the GoCity app, there was a sync problem with my email to get the passes downloaded. The manual passs option also did not work. I had to call the customer service and he was a good person. He advised for some reason the GoCity had a different email address and hence the issue. He then updated my email id and helped me download the passes. How was the email id different in GoCity system when I had got the confirmation email is my emailid ? Question for GoCity and Viator. 3. There are 100 attractions to choose from , but different rules for each attraction. We have to do a lot of reading to understand each attraction's requirement and do things accordingly. 4. We chose the sunset cruise and managed to reach Pier16 for the cruise well ahead of time. We informed the guides around there and they asked us to wait. When our turn came up to scan the pass, they said you have to exchange it for tickets in the box office. By the time I went back to box office, they said they are sold out. So we MISSED the sunset cruise even though we were there on time, asked around for guidance and then this happens. So in summary, it is value for money - but please plan , plan , plan and read every little section for each attraction. They run their business on us tourists committing mistakes to make money.
Great Experience. New York Pass with 10 attractions is a great choice saves alot of money. Very Very Good Pass. Highly recommended👍👍👍
It’s just like magic with go city pass which help me avoid queue and running behind the place I just loved it just followed the plan advice by go city pass app it work greatly
We booked at 2x day all-inclusive pass and it was worth every penny. We had 3.5 full days in New York and it allowed us a day and a half for free time to relax at our leisure. The sunset cruise comes highly reccomended at the end of a busy day and gives a different perspective of the city.
After checking the prices for 4 of us to do attractions in New York and it coming to over £1000, we brought 4, 5 day unlimited passes, this allowed us to do more attractions than we had planned originally. We paid £981 and when we worked out the total price of all the attractions we did, it came to over £1800, so we saved a massive £800+. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting New York and wishes to see more of it for a bargain price.
I made a mistake with a booking meaning the tickets expired before we left for New York. Used the chat bot to get through to a person within a few minutes. Thankfully Harshit was able to offer me a new set of tickets. Brilliant customer service, Harshit really saved me!!! Would definatly recommend!!!
Go City was the best way to see New York. It was so convenient and I feel like we saved a lot of money. I highly recommend using it. I LOVED it.
Beware!!! I bought a pass and only went to 3 out of 4 of my attractions. When I went to use my 4th said it was already used. And said I was a no show at an attraction I did not book. And they were of no help
We enjoyed a lot and explore all our favorite attractions. Amazing life experience. Simply I love it!
