We took the Central Park Bike Tour with Freek, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Freek was an excellent guide; he calmly led us through New York’s busy city traffic to the park, and once inside, he took plenty of time to show us all the highlights—sharing engaging stories about each one (in Dutch, no less!). The bikes were of excellent quality; a quick tip: opt for the electric ones—it makes for a much more relaxed ride, especially when navigating the occasional incline in the park. We had a wonderful morning and can highly recommend this bike tour.

Best way to see Central Park! Michael our guide was super knowledgable, fun and friendly! The bikes were all new, hi-quality bikes (Gazelle) and comfortable. The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly, while making sure our bike seats & helmets were right. The facility was clean (even the bathroomswere squeaky clean!) and organized. I can not think of a better and more fun way to see the City and Central Park! Highly recommend!
Fietsen zijn erg goed en netjes, hebben een super leuke toer gemaakt door central park met ook een hele leuke gezellige gids die ons ook nog van alles over de omgeving vertelde. Zeker een aanrader.
Michael was our guide, very well received, very enthusiastic with nice stories and an excellent tour with good stops and flexible enough if you want a special stop, almost anything is possible. We had a bike ride in the morning, take plenty of time for it, I would say, Michael does that too. Bicycles are excellent and fine to do without support. For people aged 65+ who also use stair support at home, I recommend stair support. Central Park experience is complete. Big 10.
What a beautiful bike ride through Central Park, a great escape from the craziness. Definitely a recommendation
It was a very nice tour through Central Park, we enjoyed it very much. We were also very lucky with the nice weather. A bike tour gives you the opportunity to see the entire park. Point of attention: there is a choice between normal and electric bicycles. We often do bike tours when we are on vacation and always choose a regular bike. This tour had quite steep hills in it, which we hadn't expected beforehand. Besides us, there were 3 others with a regular bicycle. The rest of the group and the guide had an electric bike and were far ahead when we cycled uphill. I think that could have been advised better. Now there was a 71-year-old man who had to cycle up the hill on a regular bicycle. I think you should do standard electric bikes. I also don't think it's nice that the guide cycles so far ahead and doesn't check if the rest of the group can keep up. The explanation was good otherwise and we saw nice things.
In the morning we were welcomed with a big smile at Holland Bikes by Michael and colleague. With the sun on our backs and faces, Michael led us through Central Park with a joke and Rotterdam humour. Nice piece of history, proud stories of current life in New York. But also tips for restaurants visit, nice neighborhoods. Overall an impressive tour and definitely worth it.
2 bicycles not used. Super neatly helped. Adjust bikes, basket in front, lock and a helmet. Plus a good map of Manhattan. We had the regular Gazelle bikes, all like new. Next we'll take the electric, Central Park knows some hills. From the location of Holland Bikes only a short distance to Central Park. Watch the one-way roads.
