This experience was exciting and truly an opportunity to live like a local with Marc guiding us, showing us highlights of each area we visited, getting some great pictures of our group and giving us great directions on the subway. We had some of our best fun on our trip during this time with Marc. He gave us tips of things to see and do and areas to visit that are not the typical tourist type activities so we could really experience the full value of the entire city. When it was time to end the tour, he told us exactly how to get to our next destination and made sure we were set before he left. Overall, this is a must do experience to complete any trip to New York City.

Well Worth It! Marc provided the best walking tour that we have experienced in our travels. I encourage anyone visiting New York to take this tour. Marc was personable, and enjoyable. He had interesting information about New York, didn't push his knowledge, but instead offered details if the timing was right. He got us around the city quickly, with his local ability to know the subways, and he took us to the best places not only to see, but to take pictures. I ask, "who wouldn't want great pictures of their trip to New York?' The cost of the tour was not cheap but it was definitely worth it. The photos were all amazing. Our photographer was Kennedy. He was a great guy that made the tour fun and informative. He took loads of great shots from the right locations, right angles.... We started at the Times Square, then took the subway to the Central Park area and we finished at the Brooklyn Bridge.

After visiting NYC dozens of times over the past forty years I was looking for a special way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The theatre's have always been exciting, dining in the West Village has always been a culinary adventure, the museums have been enlightening, the views from the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center have been breathtaking, brunch in the Rainbow Room was romantic, visiting the catacombs of the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral was educational, walking the Highline has always been fun, and Time Square has always been an adventure - but possibly the best two-hours we've spent in the City were with Marc of PhotoTrek Tours. Marc is an outstanding photographer, he knows the city really well, is fun to be with, and did a great job of customizing the tour to our interests. A great adventure!

I’d booked this tour as a surprise to my new Wife on our Honeymoon based on the positive reviews on TripAdvisor, but I can honestly say that this tour surpassed all expectations. Marc’s knowledge of New York, more specifically Central Park, was excellent and gave us access to a lot of excellent photo opportunities we’d have never been able to find on our own. The end results were excellent and we know have loads of great photos that will allow us to remember this amazing trip forever. The photos were also available to us within 24 hours which was particularly impressive given it was such a busy time of the year. Thank you very much for an awesome experience, I would definitely recommend to anyone who is going to New York.

Taking the 2-hour "Private Central Park Walking Tour with a Personal Photographer"a was one of the best decisions we made on this trup. Personal Photographer Marc was not only a great guide - very accommodating and sharing lots of info about the various areas we visited - but he was an even greater photographer who made sure there were no photobombers and had quite an eye for detail. We had a fun tour and more importantly we had lots of great photo memories to keep and cherish.

We were lucky enough to have Kennedy as our personal photographer and he was just amazing! He made our day! We started in Times Square and he captured us so well in all the hustle and bustle that Times Square is famous for. A quick ride on the subway with some quirky pics and we were in Central Park. Kennedy knows this park so well, he shot some terrific pictures and pointed out all that Central Park is famous for. We are just delighted with the images and will treasure them for ever. Kennedy was just a pleasure to be with and he’s gone above and beyond with his level of service as I left my sweater in his rug sack and he’s only going to take it to Ireland when he comes on vacation to return it to me. We really recommend this activity if you want to capture a memory whilst spending time with the people who matter to you.

Our photographer, Marc Samuels, was great. He was in tune with our desires, very helpful in learning about the city, and provided helpful tips that enhanced our visit.

It sure was a great walk, and i have lovely pictures that i could not take myself by far. Marc knows the city so well because he is from new york. In this 2 hour tour he asked me what i wanted and gave me options and then we got of in a quick pase because of that we could do a lot of things in Central park and serveral places in the city going on to the Brooklyn bridge . Marc also gives you the time to get some drink or use the restroom, i did not need it but good that he give people time for it. He also teached me how to use the subway so handy and also tips where to go or eat! Great conversation during the walk it did not feel as 2 hours at all, sure had a great time. Marc also walked a bit further because he wanted to show me where i could go after the tour and i did :) big thanks!

We booked a Photo Trek tour in order to enjoy elements of NYC and capture the images to keep as memories. Marc was brilliant, he was enthusiastic, daring with some of the shots (we all survived!) and managed to engage teenagers, adults and children alike in our family group. Informative and prepared to give hints and tips about the area, Marc really set our holiday off to a great start. The photos, eagerly awaited, were received with excitement and did not disappoint. Mark was our photographer and tour guy through Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge. Although I have been to NYC many times, Mark was very informative and pointed out a lot of really cool stuff. We booked a PhotoTrek tour around Times Square and Central Park to capture some memories of our first family trip to NYC. Mark was great! Informative, personable and quick to put us all at our ease. He clearly loves his city and was greeted warmly by locals on his tour destinations. He took over 150 photos and they were all sent to us within the day, which we weren't expecting. There are some great shots in the deck. Novel, fun and with all of us (two adults, two tweens) looking relaxed. We now have some difficult choices as to which ones make it onto the walls at home! My husband and I went on the tour with Marc and we had a great time. We learnt a lot about the city as our guide was very knowledgeable. We left with some really great photos taken from our trip that aren't selfies! Would recommend it to others.

I wanted to end my engagement weekend on a high note and Marc delivered!! Marc was on time and friendly right off the bat! Although we booked the private central park tour he was very flexible and asked us if we wanted to incorporate any other areas into the tour. There was not a second wasted on this tour. Marc took advantage of every single element we passed by in the city (i.e. NYPD Car, Taxi cab stopped at a red light, the "18" resting on the ground for the "2018" sign of the Times Square Building etc). Marc was very fun to be around, informative, and definitely knew his way around the city and the park! He were able to hit up all of the spots I wanted to and found areas in the park that I would have never found myself. Marc was very conscientious of our time due to a flight we needed to catch that afternoon. Marc did not disappoint! He even helped us arrange a way to get back to our Air BnB. If you are the type that gets nervous asking people to move so you can take an iconic picture, Marc is going to be your man! Early Morning (8:45am) Sunday Tour was Perfect! We love all 233 of our pictures. I'll never forget how my fiancee smiled the entire tour and how she smiles as she admires your photos. Thank you, Marc! My wife and I were visiting New York for the first time as a family with our two young boys. It's safe to say that coming from a small town, while exciting, seeing the crowds and size of New York was a little intimidating. That is, until we met Marc. The experience had the feeling you'd get when reconnecting with an old friend who's a native to the city willing to give you a personal tour....now imagine that friend being a professional photographer willing to capture your reactions every step of the way. By the time we were done, my wife, who's never lived anywhere but the town she grew up in, was hoping on and off the Subway, maneuvering around time and loving every moment of it. For a day we became New Yorkers. I can't thank Marc enough for what he gave us that day. It was everything that we hoped it would be..scratch that..it was more than we could have ever imagined. It will be an experience we'll never forget. The next time we travel we will be contacting PhotoTrek to capture or moments again. Thank you Marc!!

We chose the Central park tour which starts in Times Square and then moves to Central Park. Mark is a real New Yorker and has a heap of local knowledge and history. He takes you through the subway and explains how to get a ticket etc and takes real NY shots. It is a fast moving session but we was happy to slow down when we asked as it was a hot and steamy day. Do think about what you wear as you end up with a lot of photos of yourself! As a couple we were sick of selfies so this was a great reminder of NY. Cant recommend this tour highly enough. I would do at the beginning of your time in NY as Mark has lots of practical advice.. Thanks Mark
