Quick, easy, good bikes. Service was great! Explained everything up front, helped my son into his booster seat and we had a blast!

We arrived at our 10:30 ride time and after waiting 20 minutes, they had no more e-bikes to give us. Very chaotic. He told us that is we came back and hour 1/2 later , he would give us half off. When we returned , still no bikes and said that he did not agree to half off. He charged my card $196 for the rentals, then again for “insurance” and also for a “deposit”. The bikes were not fully charged and died before our 2 hours were complete. I’m afraid to see what has actually been charged on my card. It was a terrible experience and am very surprised that Viator does business with them. I know that these bike people can be sketchy but trusted this because it was through Viator :(

Excellent service, price and bikes were in good shape. Would definitely do it again. Service was fast and affordable to a family of 7. Rode around Central Park and along along the Big Apple Trail near Hudson River.

The bike we're good and kept well. We had a wonderful day and nothing was broken. We thought is was quite some bucks but it was worth it.

My son and I love biking and had a blast exploring Central Park. Having an e-bike with a tag along helped us see more in the summer heat without getting too pooped

Great experience from start to finish. Staff were friendly and professional from the off. Bikes were decent, price was good and Central Park was very close by. Nothing but positive things to say about the people and cycling round the park in the sunshine was a beautiful experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again next time I’m in NYC.

This was the absolute worst experience, renting an E bike and unprofessional people I’ve ever seen. We had a two hour electric bike reservation that I had made a week or two prior to us getting there, when we arrived to pick up our bikes, they said they didn’t have any because they were all being charged, but yet they came out with a bike and had me make sure it was the right size for me, then came out with, but looks like a child electric bike for my husband, and then ask our son if he would be OK riding an actual bicycle like a 10 speed and he said OK reluctantly but he also didn’t have a choice, so now we’re on our way to Central Park with for our two hour ride around Central Park and then less than an hour my husband‘s bike died, and those bikes are old and not easy to pedal when you don’t have the power of the electric behind you so my husband had to stop and I really wanted to go around the park one more time since we still had an hour left. So my husband went and sat and people watched while me and my son tried to go around Central Park for the second time and though I’m behold, my bike died a quarter of the way in so I had to pedal 75% of Central Park. It was hell and not fun. It was hot. I felt like I was gonna pass out the bike is not easy to pedal and I was not happy. Then when went to the bring the bikes back to the pick up spot, which is the store. I said I wanted a total refund and they refused to do it and try to blame it on us and said well there’s nothing wrong with the bicycle. Why would you want a refund for that, well because that’s not what we reserved and we’re just hemming and hiring about how we should’ve called them and they could’ve helped us, first of all didn’t know their phone number. I ordered it through a second party Viator, who is not helping us either with our refund. So Vidor decided to give us a partial refund which doesn’t include the seven dollar insurance that they forced us to get and it’s unacceptable and I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever rent from them again, or recommend them, to top that off while I was complaining about our experience there was a lady standing behind us who said the same thing happened to her and then also said she wanted her money back so obviously this isn’t the first time this happens. It sounds like it’s an hourly deal. I was so mad that they let us leave their store, knowing that the charge was not gonna last for two hours it’s totally unacceptable and it ruined our time in New York. Bad bad service.

I had a reservation a week in advance when we got there they didn’t have any bikes for us. I needed three somehow they found two bikes and made our other guest use a regular bicycle and we had the bikes for two hours an hour in both batteries died in the E bike in the middle of Central Park, it was not fun, trying to ride that bike and didn’t want to ride a bike, which was the reason of renting an E bike, so after getting the bikes, finally back to the destination to drop off the bikes they were acting like they were so surprised and tried to blame it on us somehow, after I asked for a full refundthey didn’t wanna do it, there was another guest in there who said her bike also died and said she wanted her money back also. . So basically they knew those batteries were not going to last and they still let us go which to me was unacceptable never rented a bike from them ever.

Bike paths are limited to mainly the perimeter of the park. Employees at Fancy Apple bike rentals were great!

When we arrived at the store to pick up our 2 e-bikes, the staff was already dealing with another customer who was stranded because their e-bike ran out of power. Well, the same thing happened to us after 2 hours of what was supposed to be a 3 hour bike rental. When we got back to the store, the staff listened to our concern and just disregarded us and sent us on our way. I would stay away from this business! Besides not being honest, they don’t take proper care of their bikes!

I need everybody great bike rental. Great customer service. Scooting through Central Park was amazing and fast. Lots of sites to see stopped to play tennis. It was great.

Jamie was great. He showed us how to use scooters. We had a great time and will be back for another ride. My kids and I had a blast.

Very cool experience to ride through Central Park. Unfortunately we weren't able to stop anywhere because the bike rental staff neglected to give us the locks that were supposed to come with the rental. Staff was also a bit grumpy when we showed up for our 9am rental. But other than those minor issues, it really was a blast.

Enjoyed our new experience on electric bikes. Very efficient service. Only issue we had in Central Park was the speed of other bikes and people travelling against the one way system. 3 hours was enough for us to go round twice with stops.

Old crappy e-bikes. One of the bikes stopped working 1/2 the way in our time. We told the operators about it and they didn’t even say sorry or anything.

One out of two of our e-bike’s did not work properly and my son peddled his heavy bike the entire park. Mine worked fine…..

We reserved e-bikes for four, and we had a really great time! They tried to contact us the day before about starting earlier due to evening light, and we were able to start about 45 mins before our start time. They provided a very helpful demo of the bike functionality and helped us out with the NYC bike rules of the road. Basically, they answered all our 1000 questions! The bike power and lights were good and the bikes worked well. They took a great photo of us at the end. We had a really great time!

The employees were so nice and helpful. No problem getting the bikes and returning them. Bikes were in good shape. Riding around Central Park was very nice. Not a lot of street use to get into the park. Thank you Fancy Apple!

I'll start with the positives of this experience. The e-bikes themselves where in very condition. The tour guide also did the best he could in the circumstances. Main issue is they do not provide headsets (which we received on many other tours). when you have a large group (we had 20) all travelling at different speeds it is impossible to hear the guide explain things - he mainly shows the people at the front with him. you only hear parts of it when we stopped at each location. Our personal experience was horrible - started with them not having our booking and overbooking the tour. Then telling us we would have to go on another tour (and talking in front of us in russian). When we said that wasn't acceptable (as we did not have time available) and we wanted a refund they insisted we rejoin the tour that had already left. we ended up being 1/2 behind by the time they sorted out our bikes. No discount was offered nor any apologies for their error.

Low quality bikes, (but worse exist) , guide is ok... but not great, reception is ok... but not great. We did 2 bikes rides with a guide, the Brooklyn bridge tour and the Central Park tour. Search for something better... if available

We booked online at home in the UK, we booked an electric bike & e scooter which was easy & simple to do. On the day, they allowed us to collect early, explained how to use the equipment and got us up and going in no time. Right near Central Park so we spent a good three hours exploring, we enjoyed it so much we went back the next day and hired them again at a great price and got an hour free and took the cycle route right down to Battery park and up the other side. Would recommend.

Junky e-bikes! Took 1/2 hour past reservation time to get the bikes. You know they had to sort through all of the “broken” bikes to find ones that worked. The icing on the cake was a 1/4 into the ride around Central Park the bike died…. What really makes me angry is that I called them a half dozen times for a rescue, they don’t answer the phone!!!!! Horrible service, better bike rentals elsewhere.

The location was close to Central Park and the service was great. The only negative is that one of our batteries went dead and we had to go all the way back to the shop to get a new battery. We were right away in the morning and the batteries didn't get charged over night.
