Central Park Bike Tour

Tour guide was passionate about Central Park and shared his knowledge with us at multiple stops along the route. The bicycles were in good condition and we wore the helmets that were available. Riding through Central Park on October 30 enabled us to see the glorious fall leaves, but our route was limited by the pre-marathon set up and events.

Wonderful way to see a large portion of Central Park! Filipe communicated with us beforehand with clear directions on where to meet. A short walk to get our bikes then we were off. Helmets were not mandatory so I forego it. The riding was easy with only one small incline. The bikes were comfortable and I had a basket for my things. Filipe stopped in several spots throughout the trip and provided us with interesting and fun facts about that area. He was friendly and professional. This is a great way to see Central Park and we highly recommend Filipe.

Nice low cost experience. Not physically demanding, electric bike options available however. Informative and interesting commentary along the way.

Phillip was a fantastic guide - extremely knowledgeable and took great care of the group. The stops were great and we had enough time to check them out and take some pics. A great way to see the ‘must sees’ of Central Park.

The tour was amazing and so was the tour guide! We rode through central park and our guide explained all the attractions. The tour was fun and entertaining, we even had breaks to sightsee. Overall 10/10

I think the tour was great, good coverage from different ends of the park which we could not have done on foot in that much time. Not too hard, good pace ! Only 3 of us on tour so very boutique exp. Filip was our guide and he was knowledgeable, well mannered , and talked a lot of information- great stuff overall keep it up!

Filip was great- charming and funny! I had my 12 year old daughter with me for this bike ride and it was fun for both of us. We have tried touring the park ourselves but it’s so massive it’s hard. This is a great way to cover a lot of ground and have someone tell you the importance of the locations and point out what’s what! Thank you!

We had a great time on the Central Park bike tour! Our guide was Felip, and he helped us get sized up and navigate Central Park. We stopped at several prime sites including the Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge and Strawberry fields. We covered quite a bit of ground during the two hours...the benefits of being on a bike! Felip told us about the history of the park and how it was a model for other cities. He also pointed out quite a few landmarks as we rode by. He also helped get us through the busy Saturday crowds safely, which was no easy feat! One piece of advice is that you should be comfortable on a bike to do this tour...Central Park on the weekends is very busy and isn't an environment for your first ride in 10 years. The traffic includes runners, e-bikes, road bike riders and carriages. I would take this tour on a weekday if you aren't completely comfortable. Otherwise, you are in good hands!

Filip our guide, originally Bulgarian, with exceptional English, gave us a brilliant tour of Central Park. We considered doing our own bike tour or walking tour but very glad we joined the guided tour as it was a much richer experience. He was fun, knowledgeable and even our teen daughters really enjoyed it. A lovely break away from the shopping!

This tour was a great way to see all the key locations across this iconic park. Our guide had lots of information to share about the park’s construction and history along with notable settings from films and tv. We absolutely loved our guided bike tour! Our Wonder tour guide Filip picked us up from the bike rental location, made sure our bikes & scooters fit perfectly, made sure all kiddos had a secure helmet on & told us all the rules and regulations for biking in NYC streets. We knew Central Park is a huge place with tons of spots to visit and learn about. To save time and learn more we opted for guided tour on bikes. We were not disappointed and our tour guide Philip was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Our bikes were in a very good condition and the entire ride was smooth and effortless. We even made multiple stops, walked around, and took photos. Our stops included Bethesda Terrace and Strawberry Fields, which were on our bucket list of must see places. At each stop and along the ride, Philip gave us a ton of historical information, facts, and movie trivia. All the information was delivered in casual and sometimes humorous way, which definitely helped keeping everyone engaged. We would have never seen and learned so much if we had decided to walk around. Highly recommended!

I have traveled to many countries and met numerous guides, but Filip is the best tour guide ever. His knowledge of Central Park's history is extensive, and his humor is quite amusing. There is no better way to explore the beauty of Central Park on a nice sunny day than on a bicycle with him.
