This was a really interesting tour and Cherie was knowledgeable and clearly loves her city. Although the bridge was very busy the day we visited the group was small and made it easy to hear and stop when we wanted to take photos. Cherie also provided heart recommendations for eating and drinking options in DUMBO

Itinerary
Your tour really starts at City Hall Park in Lower Manhattan, which is a historic green space near New York City Hall, the oldest functioning government building in the U.S. The park has a rich history, dating back to the 17th century, and features monuments like the Nathan Hale statue and the Jacob Wrey Mould Fountain. It's a serene spot in the bustling city, often hosting cultural events and public gatherings. The park is also close to key landmarks like the Brooklyn Bridge and the World Trade Center, making it a popular destination.
The Brooklyn Bridge, completed in 1883, was a marvel of engineering as the world’s longest suspension bridge at the time, linking Manhattan and Brooklyn. It symbolized American innovation and resilience, overcoming construction challenges, including the death of its chief engineer, John A. Roebling. The bridge played a crucial role in New York City’s expansion, uniting two major boroughs and transforming the city's landscape.
DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) is a trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City, known for its cobblestone streets, stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, and vibrant arts scene. Once an industrial area with warehouses, DUMBO has transformed into a hub for tech startups, boutiques, art galleries, and chic lofts. The area is also famous for its picturesque spots, such as the view of the Manhattan Bridge from Washington Street, and is a popular destination for all.
Brooklyn Bridge Park is a vibrant, waterfront park stretching 85 acres along the East River in Brooklyn, offering stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. Opened in stages beginning in 2010, the park transformed a former industrial site into a popular public space with landscaped gardens, sports facilities, playgrounds, and piers. It's a hub for outdoor activities, cultural events, and relaxation, attracting both locals and tourists. Key features include Jane’s Carousel, Pebble Beach, and the expansive lawns of Pier 1, making it a key destination for recreation and scenic views in New York City. This makes it the perfect place to finish the tour and say goodbye to your guide and new friends!

What a fantastic tour Our guide Nicola was fantastic Very knowledgeable and funny Nothing was too much bother for him Great patience on explaining everything Highly recommend this for doing
Richard was wonderful, accommodating, took the time to share many facts and stories, along with showing us some additional sites we were interested in.
Today’s trip was just wonderful. Our tour guide Richard was very attentive, considerate, intelligent and knowledgeable on the subject. As a New Yorker I understand how difficult it is to navigate crowds, traffic and city noise. Richard did it masterfully. He was able to throw some extras in his tour. It was generous and lovely.
Guide never turned up. When we asked they said communication issue and could we wait another hour (after already waiting for half hr). They gave us the itinery so we could do a self tour and refunded. Very good customer service.
Kevin was very good at presenting all the high points & history of the Brooklyn bridge and surrounding area. He took great care of us - highly recommend.
Had a fabulous time with Kevin, our guide. Very knowledgeable.
Tour guide Nikola was great but tour got derailed by an older group of ladies. Didn’t get the attention the tour needed and where to take the best pictures was ignored. Had to do it myself. Tour should have a physical requirement as it’s quite a hike.
We liked o guide. He was very knowledgeable , friendly and extremely helpful.
👍 great, enjoyable, time well spent
Ron was the Tour Guide and he was great in terms of his knowledge and handsome too
Ron was an amazing and extremely funny guy who was really informative and helpful! It was a great experience all around.
Worth the trip! Guide was easy to find, very friendly, knowledgeable and energetic!
Kevin was a great guide. He was very informative and had lots of knowledge about New York, the Brooklyn Bridge and many aspect of it. He made sure to put us in the shade when he could. I would definitely recommend him.
Kevin was great. So smart and easygoing. 10/10 guide.
Kevin was AMAZING! Patient, photographer, explained everything! Loved it! Highly recommended
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was overall a wonderful experience.
After you've seen all the other top-shelf NYC attractions and want to explore some other nooks and crannies the city has to offer, consider this City Wonders tour. Given its history, the Brooklyn Bridge and the views of the city and East River is a world-class attraction as any other and the DUMBO area offers cityscapes that artists and photographers seek out. There's nothing about the tour that you can't do on your own but this modestly-priced guided tour will help you find places and point out things you might miss. One note though. This is a two-hour, one-way walking tour from the WTC to the DUMBO area of Brooklyn. If you have mobility issues or if the weather does not cooperate (too hot, too cold, too rainy for you), this is the not tour for you. Also, there is a convenient F Train subway stop nearby at the end of the tour that will take you back to Manhattan but if you're not comfortable navigating the NYC subway system your only option is a cab/uber ride that will probably cost way more than the tour.
the guide told us a lot of interesting details and stories about the building of the bridge and about brooklyn
I learned a lot of new facta and I saw a very nice view
Kevin was an amazing guide he had so much info and answered all of our questions.
Worst experience and worst customer service ever. No accommodation whatsoever despite weather conditions. Bear in mind it’s pouring and there is lightning and it’s a walking tour.
Horrible experience with their customer service. It is pouring in NYC, they are not canceling the tour, and will not refund us. Do not use this company unless you want to give your money to scammers.
Amazing walking trip with our incredibly kind and knowledgeable guide Rob
Enjoyed it very much. The guide was very informative
Ron was very good and as others booked didn’t show up he was our own personal guide! Knowledgable and we learned a lot. Thank you Ron 👍
Rob was amazing. We enjoyed the experience and learned a ton! He was funny and informative.
Great pace for a tour. Very knowledgable guide, funny side stories. Loved the tour, you should definitively do this when visiting NY!
It got canceled because not enough people signed up! So we didn’t get to go
Kevin was very knowledgeable and enlightening.. I would recommend to others I enjoyed the experience. It was a little long
Interesting, fun, and a great view of the city. Richard knew a lot about the history and the area, so we learned a lot.
Excellent and informative guide in Richard who went above and beyond to really help us get under the skin of ZNYC and Brooklyn. We had plenty of photo opportunities and he tried to tailor the tour to our family’s interests. Thank you 😊
Richard was a fabulous guide! He is very knowledgeable and personable. Shared details about the bridge's history and also NYC. 10+/10 The bridge was quite crowded as expected. Great pace and overview of current and historic information. Small group made the walk even better. Sensitive to needs of group. Definitely recommend
We had a fantastic walking tour that started at the Oculus, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, and ended in DUMBO. Along the way, our guide Sam shared a wealth of fascinating stories, historical facts, and pointed out unique stops we never would’ve noticed on our own. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had a great way of engaging the group—just as enjoyable to listen to as he was to chat with. The pace was perfect, and the route offered stunning views and rich context. Highly recommend this tour!
The tour was wonderful. Full of fun facts that I never knew. Ron made it informative and a fun activity. Definitely go!!!
Richard was very knowledgeable and knew the city well and the pace was about right as far as walking speed was concerned. New York is a great city
Richard was a great tour guide! I’m so happy I booked this tour. I learned a lot about the history and architecture of bridges and buildings.
Great story telling by Rob. He managed to keep us involved and also curious about the historical parts of the Brooklyn / NY journey through time
Was a good tour of history and interesting facts. Richard was a great guide and looked after us well. Some iconic vistas a photo opportunities. Highly recommend
Explored part of the city we had never seen - bridge was very busy but great views. Guide was full of facts but also very funny!
Enjoyed the timeline provided for all the buildings and bridges. Wonderful views. The couple of stops along the bridge were nice to learn about all the sights we were seeing.
Got to know a lot of fun facts about New York and how the Dutch are to blame for everything. Also, without the stories of what the Brooklyn bridge can withstand, it would be a lot scarier to cross it. Great job Rob, we had a lot of fun!
Kevin was our guide and he was very knowledgeable. The DUMBO portion was quick but still really informative and interesting -something you don’t get on many tours.
Amazing tour. It was great walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. Kevin was very informative and shared a lot of history and facts. Ended tour at Dumbo, which is a nice place to end the walking tour. Good lunch spot. Recommend Kevin as a guide.
