The Must See Manhattan tour with Gabi was amazing! She was very enthusiastic and the tour was informative and exciting. I had my mom and daughter with me to celebrate Mother’s Day and my daughter’s 12 birthday and this tour was the start of our weekend. We arranged with Sarah and Stephanie a private , unique tour that met our requirements perfectly . This was a night tour - but not walking , We had a 2025 black Toyota Grand Highlander XLE with a moonroof — it was large, sleek black SUV where you could see the skyscrapers from all sides. We were collected at our hotel , by our fabulous tour guide Robert Zhu , part of Sarah’s team. He had so much knowledge, great stories to tell and supported with loads of additional information and photos on his iPad . The private tour covered all the things we wanted to see at night ✦ Times Square ✦ 5th Avenue ✦ Grand Central Terminal ✦ Rockefeller Center ✦ The Empire State Building ✦ 9/11 Memorial ✦ One World Trade Center ✦ Wall Street ✦ Charging Bull Statue ✦ Brooklyn Bridge ✦ Manhattan Bridge ✦ Williamsburg Bridge ✦ Statue of Liberty (from land) All of this from the comfort of a luxury car with an excellent driver . We arrange all of this on email after following Sarah’s vlogs - which are super helpful and inspired lots of our sight seeing . Once the details where agreed , payment made and Robert made contact ahead of collecting us . I must add they also kindly dropped us off at a dinner reservation at the end of the tour , with even history provided on that venue. It was a simply perfect evening I would highly recommend any of Sarah’s Funky Tour experiences or like us explore a personalised tour .

This was a WONDERFUL experience and Gary was awesome!!! Some in the group were scared of the 3 hour walk but Gary walked at our pace, took us on and explained the subway system to us, offered so much great history and information about the city and kept us laughing the whole time. This was the first time to NYC for my husband and 15 year old son, and it's also been a long time since I've been there. I wanted to book a tour and found Sarah's videos so helpful and entertaining, so I decided to use Funky Experiences. We booked a private tour, and I am so glad that we did. Our tour guide (Gary) was fantastic. He inquired about our interests prior to the tour to help him create a plan, and then made some changes to meet our interests while talking to and getting to know us during the tour. I could not recommend this company or our guide more. Whether you have 3 people or 10 people, you should absolutely book this tour. Even if you've been to NYC, I would recommend it because you will learn pieces of history that you are unlikely to learn elsewhere.

This being our first trip to NYC we wanted it to be more than just a basic tourist sightseeing trip, we wanted to learn about the history, explore interesting architecture, and experience off the beaten path places. That is exactly we we got with this trip. Since we were staying an entire week, we booked this tour for multiple days and that was the best decision. Our guide Sara was so knowledgable and made the day so interesting and fun. She even gave us recommendations for things to do on our own. We are looking forward to coming back again and will definitely take this tour again.

Planned a 16th birthday trip with my daughter (just the 2 of us) and took a chance on a Brooklyn (DUMBO) food tour with guide Kristin! It was definitely a highlight of the our trip to NYC. We both loved the history intermixed with local iconic foods in the beautiful setting of Brooklyn with skyline views of downtown Manhattan. We highly recommend!!

Central Park, Top of the Rock, Luis Vitton store front. Our guide Sara was knowledgeable and easy going. Making it fun. Was much more relaxed than we thought for the city. Less time on 5th Ave as high end stores are not interesting. Not feeling rushed was great.

My husband and I booked 3 tours with Sarah Funky company. We booked the food tour, Must See Manhattan and the 3-hour private tour. We were very pleased with the tours. We were very, very disappointed with the private tour. We booked the private tour thinking it would be catered to what we wanted to see which was some places in Harlem. Instead, we got the Downtown Manhattan tour for the price of a private tour. That was not what we wanted. We were told they do not offer Harlem tours. Sarah should have told me this in advance.

Best tour you can do in NYC. My family and I were teamed up with Gabi. She was very knowledgeable and very nice. She took us places that we would have never seen on our own. It really was the highlight of the trip. Communication with the "Funky" was great before the tour. Gabi also gave us food places to check out, and she was not wrong! I would strongly recommend take a tour with this group!!!

We did a 3 hour tour starting at Grand Central Terminal, finishing at 30 Rock. It was amazing. Really good time with very knowledgeable tour guide. Our guide pointed out many "little" things we had walked by all week without noticing. Really fun and would totally recommend Funky Experiences.

Her knowledge was first class and every question I had was answered immaculately. She took us to all the best places and a secret bar we would never had found which was amazing. We found Funky Experiences on YouTube. We are extremely happy with our tour. James was a huge resource and had wonderful insights on all locations we visited. He also had a few stories for our young children and kept them entertained. He made the best of a sweltering July day and kept us as cool as possible. James even answered questions for us after the tour. Can’t recommend him or Funky enough, wonderful experience!!

My family of three requested a 3-hour private tour of Brooklyn. Our goals were to get a feel for the daily life in various neighborhoods in Brooklyn and hear about their history as well.
