The Whitby Hotel

The Whitby is officially my favorite hotel in New York! From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional. A huge thank you to Marcus, Jamal, Tony, Jerry, and Versailles for taking such incredible care of me throughout my stay. They truly made me feel welcomed and went above and beyond in every interaction. The rooms are stunning, and the design is absolutely breathtaking. Every detail feels thoughtful and luxurious. The shower pressure is phenomenal, the soaking tub is incredible, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The amenities are top-notch, and every aspect of the hotel reflects quality and attention to detail. The service is truly impeccable, and it’s what sets The Whitby apart. Everything about this stay made it unforgettable. Thank you, Whitby—I can’t wait to come back!

Have previously stayed at Whitby and Crosby street and both were great. This time I paid US$1,700++ per night for Deluxe top view room which was tiny (mini bar in the walk in robe) and located right next to the elevator so I could hear everyone. I was in a rush this morning and ordered avocado toast only for me to take the lid off and find a plate of potatoes and two poached eggs. My room wasn’t cleaned until 545pm yesterday when I needed to shower and get ready for work dinner at the end of the day. It’s like they are charging for six star and delivering four star service. I would NOT stay there again and if you do avoid room 1001 and ask for a room on eight floor is my advice.

Very nice hotel that has a homey feel yet still very NYC. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to NYC. The room for two was also big. It has a lot of unique facilities from meeting rooms to a theater under. The Whitby Bar and Restaurant has good food and drinks. The waiting staff could be more efficient but the place was always full. We were there just a few days ago so the good memories of Whitby are still very fresh.
