Try making a reservation, Was asked by the representative to hold and ended up being transferred to her automated machine absolutely couldn’t help. It was a nightmare, trying to get this booking. For the charges five dollars a night they should really have someone doing their bookings for them

Had a wonderful 8-day stay at the Renaissance Del Monte in Pittsford NY. We were in the Pebble Beach suite which was spacious and comfortable. One thing to be aware of is that there is no separation or door between the bedroom area and the living room, so if that's important to you, it is something to consider. On the other hand, the suite has two full bathrooms, so that's a very nice feature for two people traveling together. Daily housekeeping was reliable and efficient, and everyone on staff was friendly and responsive. The on-site restaurant is very good as well, but there are many other eateries nearby and within easy walking distance of the hotel along the Erie Canal pathway and in the town center. Don't miss treating yourself to ice cream at the Pittsford Dairy right across the street! We would definitely stay here again the next time we return to the area.
This place looks great at first glance—clean, modern, and newly updated. Don’t be fooled. The biggest issue is the room is airvak system. The moment you turn on the AC or heat, it becomes a nonstop noise machine. It’s not a mild hum it’s loud, constant, and incredibly disruptive, with banging that makes it impossible to relax, let alone sleep. I tried switching rooms thinking it was just a bad unit. Wrong. Every room has the same problem. Their solution? Earplugs. Yes—earplugs instead of fixing a known issue affecting the entire hotel. After a six-hour drive from New York City, all you want is rest. Instead, you get a headache and frustration. Avoid this place if you value sleep—or basic comfort.
What’s truly sad about this hotel is it’s clean and beautiful with a great location but if you look careful in the AC portion of the reviews even after 10 years they haven’t mounted the hvacs on anything but a thin piece of plywood and it is the noisiest hotel I’ve ever had. Can’t sleep. And after hundreds of complaints have not put money into mounting their hvacs properly. It’s such a shame and truly disturbing. If you want to sleep, go to a courtyard Marriott instead.
We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were very clean and nicely updated, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and our room attendant was especially kind and attentive — we just wish we had caught her name to thank her personally. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again.
