Stayed with my father and a friend for 2 nights, everyone was more than accommodating. Service was beyond what we could've asked for. We went skeet shooting with Jerry/Jerome and it was a fantastic experience. He is an excellent teacher and adapts to what you need rather than a tight schedule. Pay attention and listen to his advice, you will have fun while improving your aim.
We travel here on business at least once a month. The only thing I dont like is that when my husband makes the reservation they have to call and ask him for his permission to check me in. Guess its the rules but after staying there at least 12 times, its getting kind of old. However, once checked in all experiences are great. The restaurant is good too!
Great bar, beautiful building, beautiful grounds that includes a long stretch of Salmon River frontage. There is a disc golf course but it is partially removed. The woodsy holes near the river need to be maintained. I'm sure local disc golf groups could provide advice and likely assistance. It's a shame because they have the land and trees to make a top notch course.
I am here over the weekend and addressing another party… Funny how some people mistake a tuxedo for a personality. I got lost in a place the size of a small village. The venue was absolutely beautiful, with endless hallways and multiple buildings, and I was there as part of another wedding party at what was also an incredibly expensive wedding. I wasn’t crashing anything. I was simply trying to find my room. Instead of pointing me in the right direction, he puffed out his chest and announced, “I’m the groom,” like I’d interrupted the coronation of a king. Btw it wasn’t even like that he was bartending his own wedding lol Congratulations. You rented a beautiful venue, put on a tuxedo, and somehow managed to make one of the happiest days of your life look miserable from the inside out. You honestly probably hit your future wife! Some people spend tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding and still can’t afford basic human decency. That’s the part people remember long after the flowers die and the photos are framed. This will be your first divorce. I walked away embarrassed for about thirty seconds. He’ll always be the guy who couldn’t spare five seconds of kindness to a stranger who was simply lost. I was just looking for the third floor my guy. Hope the worst for you!
We were there for a large wedding which occupied most of the hotel. The staff was nothing short of amazing. Always courteous and very accommodating both for the wedding and our stay in general. The food in the restaurant was very good quality and reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend Tailwater for a large event, weekend getaway or even just a random dinner out. You will not be disappointed.
