Nine Orchard

Really an exceptional hotel. Service and staff were top tier. Breakfast every day at the hotel was delicious. Attention to detail throughout the hotel from design and upkeep to minor amenities made for a wonderful stay.

I'm not normally someone who leaves a review, but Nine Orchard was an amazing hotel that should be reviewed. The location is excellent. The views of NYC were spectacular from our modest, but impeccable room. The tile work throughout the building is as good as it gets. The heart pine flooring and level 5 finish on the surfaces were flawless. The trims came together perfectly. As a builder, the level at which this property was restored is well beyond good. Kudos to the team whom did the restoration. Very well done. I hope we get to stay at this property again someday.

Honestly I had a wonderful time here. Serge and Michael were so friendly and helpful. I genuinely felt like part of the family talking with them, not as a guest, nor as a stranger. The hotel is really aesthetically pleasing as well. It has its own personality which is a HUGE plus. Most hotels feel the same, but this was not one of them. It legit had character. The room service burger was solid, but the breakfast was the real crown jewel. If I find myself in Manhattan, this hotel would be on the top of the list tbh.

Start to finish, our stay was exceptional. After arriving on an early morning flight, we were immediately welcomed by the wonderful staff. Chico, the front office director and all-around superstar, took incredible care of us from the moment we arrived. Our flight landed at 6 a.m., and although the city was still waking up, Chico made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were even able to check in early, which was such a gift after a long travel day. Before New York came to life, the lovely Steven gave us a tour of the rooftop space, which is typically reserved for private events. It felt like such a special welcome to one of our favorite cities and set the tone for the entire stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with elevated amenities throughout. The robes were plush and brand new, and every detail made the room feel like a place you were excited to return to after a long day exploring the city. The hotel also surprised me with birthday treats, offers breakfast order cards the night before (with a very New York 2 a.m. cutoff), and provides twice-daily housekeeping service. We had breakfast every day, and drinks at night in the Swan Room. Everything we ordered was perfect each time. The staff there is equally wonderful. We sat at the bar and met the very kind, Luis who made us some of the best drinks I’d had in NYC. The mocktail was so delicious I had to take a photo of the bottle in the hopes of recreating it. The location is perfect—close to trains, fantastic restaurants, great bars, and anything else you might need during your stay. Our room was quiet and had blackout curtains, but the city is in full swing outside. That’s the perfect type of stay in NYC! What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the people. The level of hospitality felt genuine, personal, and effortless. We’ll be back in a hurry.
