Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Utica

I loved the location the people and the hotel structure. However the whole room is carpeted which I guess probably matches the hotel better but the flooring under the carpet was rough, toilet paper was the cheap of the cheap and the sheets were a bit rough but location and people make it what it is. I would have preferred laminate, tile or wood floors

I liked this hotel quite a lot. A beautiful old historic hotel. The lobby was amazing with the white columns and shiny floor. The room was great. It had a jacuzzi and a gym. I dont believe ive ever stayed in a hotel with gym equipment in the room. The bed was veey comfortable. I slept very well. The location is great too. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. They also have a good sized parking lot. I'll be staying here again

Hotel was beautiful and historic. Rooms were a little dirty, glass shower doors leaked water all over the floor, do not disturb tag fell off the door to the hall floor whenever you shut it so we had housekeeping staff walk in on us while we were sleeping, multiple times went to purchase a drink from the lobby and no one was at the front desk to check out after waiting a few minutes. Homeless people everywhere at the property- sleeping on the steps out front, hanging out in the parking lot all hours, coming into the lobby during the day, and helping themselves to free guest amenities.

This is a tired, old building, and it shows immediately. I was never given a “cookie” at check‑in, and I barely received a greeting. My king room is very large, which is one of the few positives. However, it has only one window, and it overlooks the mechanical roof. The refrigerator does get cool, but the creamer provided for the coffee is off. The sofa is badly stained, and most of the furniture is banged up and worn. The lobby is pretty, but the rest of the hotel doesn’t match that first impression. There is only one small working elevator, which makes waits long and inconvenient. Overall, this hotel needs a refresh.
