Z Nyc Hotel

We stayed here for a few days at the beginning of September and honestly had such an amazing stay. The location was perfect, with the subway easily reachable by foot, which made getting around New York so easy. Our room on the 7th floor was beautiful, bright and had the most unforgettable view. The view was so amazing that we even found ourselves staying awake at night just to enjoy it. 😂 The bed was also incredibly comfortable! A huge thank you to the entire team, especially the staff at the front desk, for being so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we needed anything, they were always there to help right away. You really made us feel welcome. We were also pleasantly surprised that we couldn’t hear the rooftop bar at all from our room. One of my favorite little memories was that I was allowed to keep the room key card sleeve as a souvenir for my photo album 😂 Such a small thing, but it made our stay even more special. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again and again the next time we’re in New York. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable!

We had a really good time here, for starters the hotel rooms were nice (the only negative is that the sink was outside the bathroom), the wifi worked, there was smart tv, generally everything was great even though the hotel was undergoing a renovation at the time of our stay. When I was considering this hotel I was worried that the nightclub on the roof is going to be a nuisance, thankfully it turned out to be fine (we were on the 8th floor), theres a bar on the opposite side of the street + nyc in itself has a quite loud backgroud noise so the sound from the roof didn’t really stand out. The staff accomodated our every request, the view and the room were very nice, just a pleasant experience all around.

I did a one night staycation. I chose the Z for the views they stated they had. Checkin was a bit delayed because the front desk staff couldn't find my payment done through Agoda. It took approximately 10 minutes to be resolved in my favor. The staff were all pleasant and worked to solve the problem which the manager supported them in correcting. I also was informed I was originally on the 10th floor which can get loud with the noise from the rooftop and asked if I wanted something on the 8th floor which was appreciated. Because the AC was extremely loud, I couldn't initially hear the roof top noise but when I took off the AC the noise from the rooftop could be heard. It was loud but bearable. They should perhaps close at 12 am even if its a Friday or Saturday because the room was priced on the higher end so you should be able to have some peace. BUT the view at night was amazing! Not so much during the day. And the shower as well was marvelous. I was wondering how the water wouldn't splatter everywhere with how the shower wall was made but it actually wasn't a problem. I would stay again if I can get a lower floor in the fall when I wouldn't have to put the loud AC on.

My stay at Z Hotel was disappointing. The room was extremely small, and the head of the bed was too close to the TV, which made it uncomfortable. The light above the bed was very bright and shined directly into my eyes, and the overall room lighting was poor. The cleanliness was below expectations. They only made the bed, but the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The air conditioning was also very poor because it only blew in one direction, so the room stayed hot unless you sat directly in front of the AC. There was no complimentary coffee or tea available throughout the day—only in the morning. Considering the price of the hotel, the services and facilities were not worth the cost. I would not stay here again.
