Amazing Hotel. Conveniently located right by the 57th St/7th Ave station, so you can easily get anywhere in the city from here. The lobby is elegant and the staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. Full disclosure: I didn't actually stay here. I was just a desperate citizen in urgent need of a restroom, and they welcomed me like a VIP guest. If this is how they treat strangers off the street, I can only imagine how they treat paying guests. Will be back, hopefully with a reservation next time.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent, the breakfast was very good, and we really enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks at the end of the day. A special thanks to Nick, who was extremely helpful and kind during our check-in and check-out. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!
We stayed at the WestHouse Hotel this past weekend and had a great experience. Our suite was beautiful and had plenty of space for three people, which isn't always easy to find in NYC. The bathroom was also surprisingly large, especially for Manhattan and an older building. Vanessa and Paige at check-in were both very welcoming and took the time to explain all the amenities included with our stay. Their friendliness made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast buffet. It was honestly one of the best hotel breakfast spreads we've ever seen. There was a huge variety of options, from muffins and pastries to eggs, cold cuts, and amazing potatoes. We also loved the new coffee machines that let you make specialty coffee drinks for free, which saved us a few trips to Starbucks. The location was perfect. It's about a 10-minute walk to Times Square and right next to the N, R, and Q subway lines, making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The only suggestion we would make is to bring the terrace cushions inside when rain is expected. We saw a couple of guests sit on the black cushions after a rain shower and they were completely soaked. We were even able to warn another woman in a satin dress before she sat down. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Between the spacious room, great service, fantastic breakfast, and convenient location, WestHouse exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.
Stayed here for one night. Wished I would have paid double for a different hotel and did that for the second night. First, their website markets a lively lobby with a bar - the bar has been closed for sometime, the lobby is dark and sleepy - could have been a Holiday Inn Express. Second, the rooms are average - not worth $200 let along $350+ a night. Last, and most important, their service is awful (front desk was average and that was their best) - guest services acts like they are doing you a favor by helping and reservations tries to sound fancy with their British accents but they are slow and not great listeners (need more training).
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. It does not meet the standards of a luxury property. Upon arrival, the room was not properly cleaned—there was a used bar of soap left in the shower and the floors were dirty. I had to call twice before this was addressed. When we returned to the room, the air conditioning was not working. The staff initially did not want to switch rooms, and we had to go downstairs to speak with someone in person. Even after that, the air conditioning remained ineffective—it was actually colder outside than in the room. Additionally, there was a $50 per person charge for “free beverages,” which was only disclosed in fine print and not clearly communicated. To make matters worse, there wasn’t even basic water available. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations, especially for a hotel that presents itself as luxurious. I would not recommend staying here.
