My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. We love the location, and the Peacock Bar has such a wonderful ambiance, a service oriented staff, and fantastic food and drinks. It's our go-to in NYC. Bravo!

The hotel has been remodeled beautifully. The rooms are nicely done but very small. The Jr suite was tight in sink and bathroom space, tight on closet space, but it was nicely decorated. The staff was friendly, Jr was the doorman and was very helpful and bubbly. Ruiz at front desk was helpful as well. The one bedroom suite was expensive but at 950 sq ft, roomy. The Sink area was still tight even in a suite.
Thank you to the entire staff at Waldorf Astoria, who made our stay very comfortable during our visit for my husband‘s surgery. The customer service was five star, We dined in while we were there Riom Service was five star and the attention to detail in the room was also five star. Valet and front desk staff were amazing. It takes a very good team to do this. The Millers.
I took my mother to New York City to celebrate her 65th birthday, and as first-time guests at the Waldorf Astoria, our experience was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make the milestone unforgettable. The first-class hospitality started right at the curb with Joe, who gave us a warm welcome and took excellent care of our luggage. Checking in was just as seamless thanks to Miriam at the front desk, who gave us a wonderful tour of the property and surprised us with the best room possible for our celebration—even with the hotel being extremely booked from the tennis tournament over the previous days. Our housekeeper, Kilsing, was exceptionally professional; every single time we returned to our room, it felt completely brand new, no matter what time of day it was. We also ran into Gordon several times throughout the hotel, and he was consistently helpful with directions and personally made sure we got exactly where we needed to go. The dining experiences throughout the property were phenomenal: * Peacock Alley: An iconic, beautiful setting that set the tone for our trip. * Lex Yard: Ken provided unmatched expertise and attentive service that made our meal truly standout. * Yoshoku: Jimmie was an exceptional server who made our dinner feel extra special. We finished off the trip at the Guerlain Wellness Spa, where every single member of the staff was excellent, leaving us feeling completely relaxed and energized before our departure. Every detail of our first visit reflected genuine luxury and top-tier service. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in NYC and already look forward to returning!
I really don’t know where to begin ? The hotel was vast , cold and dark . It didn’t feel homely but more an institution. I immediately asked for extra towels and my coffee machine didn’t work . I waited an hour while unpacking and called twice but zero service . I had my dog and it took 3 hours after I took him for a walk to receive a bed .Think again before staying here !! So many hotels in NYC for this price and also homeless on the streets just around the corner !!
