This was an interesting stay, with a few positives but also some disappointments. The hotel is connected to a multi-story building with several restaurants and possibly other businesses, which made the layout a bit confusing. At times, it was difficult to tell whether the elevators were taking us to the hotel or restaurant areas. One of the biggest drawbacks was an extremely strong, perfume-like cleaning product smell throughout parts of the building. I’m not sure whether it was coming from the restaurants or the hotel itself, but it was quite overwhelming. On the positive side, our room was comfortable and appeared to be either newly built or recently renovated. Parking was also easy and convenient, with a ticket system for entering and exiting. Unfortunately, a few other things fell short. We tried several of the restaurants but weren’t particularly impressed and ended up getting takeout. The hotel’s café had just opened that weekend and was clearly still working out some kinks, even lacking basics like salt and pepper. We were also disappointed to discover that the fitness center was closed. There was no mention of this on the website, nor were we informed at check-in, so we only found out when we went to use it.

Stayed here for a night after a cancelled flight. Staff were great, especially Andrew. He maintained amazing customer service even as he was working the front alone and checking in cancelled flight and regular guests all night (went in and out of hotel 3 times and he always had a lineup of guests). Room is like a boutique style hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable. Location is great. Target, grocery store, and other stores 10mins walk. Did not eat but saw there are restaurants available nearby. Great hotel shuttle to LGA.
I am a flight attendant and away from home quite a bit. The Voco is my safe place away from home. When I come to an establishment I want to feel safe, receive exceptional customer service and cleanliness. Thank you Voco staff, as I received everyone and more. The location is also a great Plus!! Free shuttle to the airport. I just want to praise Andrew(the front desk)for providing such a warm welcoming, professionalism, smiles, and kindness every time I come to the hotel. In addition, every person at the front desk has been exceptionally kind. Thank you housekeeping for the extra clean rooms so I sleep well. In addition, I wanted to thank management(Ali) for being just as personable as your staff. I really appreciate everyone of you. Kudos!!!!
The hotel has a modern look and, more importantly, very clean. The only issues that I had was the air conditioning unit in my room. Regardless of what temperature I adjusted it to, the thermostat indicated that the room temperature was 76°F. It also ran very loudly the entire time. If possible, at time of booking, I highly recommend adding breakfast to the reservation. The breakfast option was fantastic and well worth the money. Parking is provided in a private lot that is shared with other businesses within the same building as the hotel. With hotel validated parking, the cost is beyond reasonable for city parking. I will gladly stay here again in my future visits.
A lot of hotels have sprung up over the years but this one was most promising with good amount of parking at a nice $1 per hour rate and it did not disappoint even as we were there on the 4th of July. The room was well kept and clean. Kristi at the reception desk was super nice and patient with all our questions that she probably hears all day and we instantly felt welcome. The night shift associate was also super nice. And it seems the maintenance and cleaning teams are very diligent at what they do. Overall, great impressions through and through. Likely to be my go to place for a while when we stay in Flushing.
