The hotel was very nice, and the location was excellent—everything was within walking distance. Valet parking was rather expensive, but there is a garage directly across the street that charges $40 per day. However, it does not offer in-and-out privileges, so once you take your car out, your parking session ends. Our room was spacious and had a separate sitting area with a sofa, a table, and two armchairs. There was also a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. Breakfast was good and tasty, although the selection was somewhat limited. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay. My wife and I really enjoyed it.

Great location, friendly staff, solid breakfast and comfortable room. Check-in went quickly and smooth (in the evening). Despite being close to everything, the room was very quiet and we slept very well. Also thanks to the AC that can be properly cool/cold which was great. Andres took care of us during our breakfast throughout the week and he did a great job. If you want to be walking distance from Times Square and Central Park, without the downsides of the crowds and noises, this is the place to be.
I’ve stayed at The London hotel for 20 years. My first visit was in 2006, and I was impressed with the room size, and well appointed suites. The bathrooms are large, featuring a double shower with beautiful tile. I stayed at The London again in mid June, and was not disappointed. I got in very early from a referee flight from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I had breakfast and a drink in the bar after visiting the MOMA. I was given my high floor, corner suite, with beautiful bathroom with shower and separate deep soaking tub, well before normal check-in due to the Manager getting the room serviced early. My favorite Greek restaurant, Milos, is only one street over, and I dined there two nights out of the four I was there. The staff is always outstanding and top notch—in fact many of them still remembered me from 15 years ago when I used to stay here regularly. It felt very warm and welcoming. The location is great, as you are close to Central Park, museums, and prime 5th Avenue shopping. This is my favorite hotel in the city by far, and the cost is reasonable for what you get. The staff is the icing on the cake.
Stayed here while in town for one of the World Cup games. When we pulled up to the valet with our rental, we were greeted by Michael who was quick to help us with our bags and grab a luggage cart for us. Their valet team is really on top of it and Michael was very friendly and helpful. I would however recommend requesting your vehicle at least 30 minutes before you need it as they use a third party parking garage that can take time to get your vehicle. The staff at the restaurant downstairs is also phenomenal. Ria and Selena were so friendly and accommodating. They even gave our two year old daughter a small stuffed animal as a gift that she absolutely loved. The hotel itself is very conveniently located near Central Park. We walked to the Museum of Natural History, Rockefeller Center, and Time Square. We booked a king suite which was very spacious with a separate living area. The rooms were quiet and well insulated from the noise of the city. I travel for work and stay in a lot of Marriotts (89 nights so far this year). This was definitely one of the better stays I’ve had. That is mostly because of the incredible service. Will definitely book again on our next visit to NYC.
At first I saw that this hotel had a sub 4* rating. After staying I’m not really sure why. Check in was fast & everyone was very pleasant. Room is a great size for New York City we stayed in the king suite. Coffee machine had my espresso capsules. Location is great next to Central Park. I prefer staying in Meat Packing personally but wanted a change. Very good hotel for the price point. If there were any issues before I think they have been resolved.
