I stayed at this hotel over a weekend and had a fantastic experience. I was traveling with my dog and the hotel was very dog friendly. They loved having him and the gentlemen working at the front in the lobby were excited to share treats with him. My pup is so picky and didn’t eat the treats so the next day they brought him a squeaky toy. They made the experience very personable for us. The location was also great. The area was very walkable to many SoHo bars and restaurants. The terrace had a gorgeous view of manhattan and was a nice place to relax with some wine.

The people who work here are pleasant enough but honestly, a hotel is for sleeping and between the room temp/humidity/allergens/mystery grit in the sheets…I got a truly terrible sleep, which is not particularly conducive to a good visit. We’ve been here three times in the past year. Pre-renovation, during, and after. Oddly enough, the first two times were fine however the most recent may be our last. Our room was warm and humid - with no option to lower the AC below 68 (it was a sticky 68) and it smelled like mold. It wasn’t great for folks with allergies (despite tripling up on allergy meds) Housekeeping didn’t come until around the time we were trying to freshen up for dinner, despite us being out for the majority of the day. Then I come to find I’m rolling around in something gritty, seemingly from my sheets all night long. Maybe (best case scenario) some caked powdered detergent? It felt like one of my kids ate crunchy snacks in my bed but when I inspected at 3am, I was covered in whatever it was (white, powdery, decidedly not the crunchy kid snacks we had with us) On top of that, our tv didn’t work (though they fixed it easily enough, once I had a moment to mention it) and my request for extra pillows was ignored. We generally like going here for the club level lounge - beautiful views, happy hour drinks/snacks - but even between our first and most recent visit, the snack availability has dwindled and breakfast is a bit hectic trying to work around everyone in a small awkward space. The Starbucks coffee machine is pretty awful too. I really like the downtown central location here though, especially if you’re subway people. Super quick ride to and from Penn Station or Brooklyn, and easy to get anywhere.
Stayed at the Sheraton Tribeca recently and was really impressed by the renovation. The hotel feels completely refreshed—modern, clean, and well done without losing its character. The staff was great throughout the stay: friendly, welcoming, and always quick to help with anything we needed. A big highlight was the Club Lounge and terrace. There was a nice selection of food and drinks, plus snacks available during off hours, which was a great perk and made it easy to grab something without leaving the hotel. The location is one of the best parts. You’re within walking distance of Tribeca, SoHo, Nolita, Chinatown, and the West Village, making it easy to enjoy some of the best neighborhoods, restaurants, and shopping in the city. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel with our two children. Everything was perfect—from our comfortable room to the excellent service provided by the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent. Since our flight was in the evening, the hotel kindly stored our luggage after check-out, allowing us to enjoy one last walk around the city. Afterwards, we were able to relax in the hotel lobby before heading to the airport, which made our last day in New York much more comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to families visiting New York. We would be happy to stay here again!
Great hotel in the middle of the city for exploring Chinatown and all the yummy places nearby. Staff was very efficient and get the Marriott convoy membership online so you can check in early. Solid Wi-Fi and elevators can be busy in the am but we were not affected by the renovation downstairs that was clearly noted and timed between 9 to 5pm. We appreciate the stay and loved it.
