Hotel was ok. The bed was horrible. It was so hard it was hurting my hip and I kept having to turn over. I asked for a mattress topper or something and they said they did not have anything to help. They have complementary expresso but not coffee. You can go up to the cafe and get a $7 cup of drip coffee. I feel like coffee is pretty standard. I did like the refillable water stations.

I took my daughter here for her 10th birthday, and what an incredible experience it was! From the moment we arrived, Arlette and Yovanni made sure she felt like the most special 10-year-old in the world. The exceptional service, kindness, and genuine care were such an unexpected and wonderful surprise. It’s rare to find people who go so far above and beyond, not only in how they treat their guests but also in how they treat one another. The thoughtful personal touches throughout our stay made all the difference. And as a bonus, the water bottle stations on each floor with nugget ice were a huge hit! 🧊😊 We will absolutely be staying here again, and a big thank you to Arlette and Yovanni for helping make my daughter’s birthday so memorable. 10/10 experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently stayed at Park Terrace Hotel in NYC with my trained service animal and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience regarding how service animals were handled. Prior to my trip, I contacted the hotel online to make sure they were aware and comfortable with the fact that I would be traveling with a service animal. I also asked whether crates were available. I was informed that while the hotel did not provide crates, they did provide dog beds and bowls. However, upon arrival during check-in, despite repeatedly clarifying that my corgi is a trained service animal and not a pet, Jessie continued referring to him as a “pet” and insisted that I sign a pet waiver. I attempted to explain that service animals are not considered pets under ADA guidelines and should be handled differently. Instead, Jessie continued publicly discussing ADA policies with me in the hotel lobby, which made me feel embarrassed, singled out, and extremely uncomfortable in front of other guests. I have a service animal because I am disabled, and this is far from my first time traveling with a service animal. Being publicly lectured in the lobby as though I did not understand ADA policies was deeply uncomfortable, especially while incorrect information was being presented to me. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that after I expressed concerns about the wording and process, the hotel later sent additional pet policy guidelines to my room, again continuing to categorize my service animal under pet policies despite my repeated clarification. I completely understand hotels needing reasonable expectations regarding cleanliness, leash control, and property protection. My concern is the lack of discretion, sensitivity, and understanding regarding the distinction between pets and trained service animals. I hope management reviews staff training and service animal accommodation procedures so future guests do not experience the same discomfort.
Great location, within a few yards of the 42 st. subway on Bryant park. Check-in was a breeze thanks to David on reception. Our room had a good view of the park, was very clean, stocked with coffee and complementary popcorn - a nice touch. There is a bar with an outside seating area on the 6th floor. The cocktails are a little hit and miss. There are plenty of cocktails bar within easy walking with a better offering. Hotel - great Cocktails - not so much
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and really appreciated the level of service throughout. The highlight for us was David, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. When we weren’t happy with our initial room, he handled the situation quickly and professionally, and arranged a change without any hassle. David was genuinely warm, approachable, and clearly cares about guest experience—an absolute credit to the team. Thanks to him, our stay turned around completely. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!
