Dream Downtown is located in the heart of Chelsea - it was prime location for me and friends - visit NYC very frequent but always stay near Times Square - staying at Chelsea was delightful - the rooms were very spacious, large bathrooms and closet space - comfortable beds and linen - every night was a good nights sleep - the hotel have a lot of offer, several bars in the hotel and a rooftop pool, with a bar as well - the hotel bar stays open really late - there is a night club nearby but it’ was never an interruption to the stay! From the front desk staff to the housekeeper including the bar staff - everyone was absolutely kind and welcoming..thank you Jacques (spelling) for an amazing check in experience! If you are in search for a nice and comfortable hotel while visiting NYC and wanting to stay outside of Times Square, I highly recommend Dream Hotel Downtown - I will be back!

This hotel ruined our honeymoon; we could have gone passed the lack of information (a night club on the floor above ours), the staff was awful instead of helpful. Also, we choose this hotel for the pool but it was not clear that access to pool was 150$ per person. The bar woman was awful as well and screamed at us for using our drinks vouchers, therefore “closing our bill”, and then asking her for another drink. This was definitely not the honeymoon experience we imagined.
Fabulous hotel in the heart of Chelsea, great large comfortable rooms with well thought out details. Outdoor pool with adjacent bar is an oasis in the middle of concrete jungle. Overall, although only stayed one night, it felt like we were on a mini luxury vacation. Will stay again and highly recommend
Considering rooms in NYC are a challenge, the location is very good with convenient metro access. Room is small, what did you expect, but in good condition. Everything clean and works. Perfect for single person on business trip. Room service is with a chatbot. I was skeptical, but much better than waiting long time on a real person. Request was attended promptly even when I added to the initial request.
Wonderful First Stay at Dream Downtown We recently stayed two nights at Dream Downtown, booked through American Express The Hotel Collection, and it was our first time trying a Dream property. I left genuinely impressed. We booked a Queen Bronze room and were pleasantly upgraded to a King Suite with balcony and pool view, thanks to our Amex benefits and possibly my World of Hyatt Globalist status. Even though it’s winter and the pool was closed, the balcony overlooking the pool still added a really fun, resort-like vibe in the middle of Manhattan. We did not request housekeeping service during our stay, but whenever we needed a few items delivered to the room, the team was prompt and friendly. Service was truly the highlight, our host Kye and the entire front desk staff were warm, professional, and consistently helpful. Everyone we interacted with, including the teams at Natura Café and the Lobby Bar, were equally wonderful. Overall, a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely return and are excited to explore more Dream properties in the future.
