The moment we walked into the hotel, I could tell it wasn’t very clean. The floors were dirty, and the area behind the front desk was messy. While we were checking in, another guest came downstairs and mentioned that their sheets had brown stains on them, which immediately made me concerned about the cleanliness of our own room. Once we got to our room, there were crumbs on the carpet, random hairs on the floor, dust on the nightstands, and staining on our sheets. We arrived after midnight and were exhausted, so I didn’t complain until the next day. Once I did, the staff was very responsive. They sent someone up to clean our room and change our sheets, and they also gave us a 50% refund for our first night, which I really appreciated. I ended up buying Clorox wipes because the room just didn’t feel clean or comfortable. It also constantly felt damp, likely because of the AC. I do want to say that the staff and cleaning crew were incredibly nice and helpful, and I have nothing negative to say about them personally. They were kind and did their best to address our concerns. Unfortunately, though, the overall condition and cleanliness of the hotel itself was disappointing and really took away from our stay.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of Times Square and many of New York’s main attractions, with easy access to the subway. The room was quite small, which is understandable for Manhattan, but something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage. Cleanliness was acceptable, though I expected a bit more from a Hilton property. The headboard was noticeably worn and peeling, and some of the furnishings could definitely use updating. We stayed in a room with a view of the Empire State Building, and the skyline was definitely a highlight. The hotel also has a nice terrace where you can relax and enjoy the city views. Being able to sign in to your own streaming accounts on the TV was a convenient touch. Overall, it’s a good value option for a short stay in a very central location, but I expected better maintenance and room quality from a Hilton property.
I stayed at this hotel from June 7th to June 27th, and overall I had a very pleasant experience. One of the hotel's biggest strengths is its location. It is incredibly central, making it easy to explore New York either on foot or by public transportation. Having so many attractions and subway lines nearby was a huge advantage throughout my three-week stay. I was also lucky enough to stay on the 28th floor, where I had a nice partial view of the Empire State Building, which was a lovely bonus. The biggest highlight, however, was definitely the front desk team. Every member of the staff was always friendly, professional, flexible, and happy to help with any questions or requests I had throughout my stay. A special thank you to **Nelson**, who went above and beyond to make my stay smooth and enjoyable. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help really made a difference. The hotel itself is very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. My room was always spotless, which I really appreciated during such a long stay. The neighborhood is quite lively and can feel a bit rough around the edges. The immediate surroundings and the area right outside the hotel may seem a little intimidating at times, especially at night. However, once you're inside the hotel, you immediately feel safe and comfortable. The only downside, in my opinion, is the size of the rooms. While they are comfortable and well maintained, they are quite small and offer limited storage space. For example, there is only one wardrobe. As a solo traveler, this wasn't an issue at all, even during a three-week stay. However, I imagine it could become challenging for two people sharing a room, especially during winter when bulkier clothing takes up more space. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its outstanding staff, excellent cleanliness, unbeatable location, and comfortable accommodations. The exceptional service truly made the difference, and I would happily stay here again.
This is a decent option for 1 - 3 nights max stays. Rooms are smaller than usual for Manhattan, with tiny closets, and not enough space for your clothes. Views can be pretty nice from certain rooms. Lobby is unimpressive with a typical tier 2 restaurant tucked away in the back of the building. Lobby doesn't fit too many people making it chaotic during peak times. Service overall is pleasant and professional. I had only one less than ideal interaction. I was dismissed when asked for water bottles in my room. They stopped being replenished after 2 days during my 14 days-long stay. I don't recommend the place for families.
We paid extra for a room with a view, and in that regard the hotel absolutely delivered. We had a direct view of the Empire State Building, which was fantastic and one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to the hotel’s 4-star rating. The room was very small, quite old-fashioned, and noticeably dusty. During our 7-night stay, housekeeping only came three times. We also had the impression that our room was cleaned only after we left cash tips. From the first day, there was a card with a QR code encouraging guests to tip housekeeping, which felt inappropriate considering we paid around €3,000 for the stay and the room was not properly cleaned. After 3 days without cleaning the bin was already overflowing and the bed sheets smelled extremely like sweat (as it was humid summer time in New York) - it was only cleaned after we left some cash. The room was so small that after opening our medium sized suitcases, we could only enter the bed from the front. The bathroom also felt outdated, and the shower head was fixed to the wall and could not be used as a handheld shower, which made it rather inconvenient. On a positive note, the rooftop bar had a great atmosphere and beautiful views but was self-service. Overall, while the location, view, and rooftop bar were enjoyable, the room quality and housekeeping standards were disappointing. In my opinion, this feels more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. I would not necessarily recommend it.
