After getting used to the halls that felt like they came from mouse maze and the microscopic room, we found the staff absolutely wonderful! From Kevon who was the first to greet and help us to Rosalyn, Tamia, Sharmayne, Cisse, Jaziak and Muhammad on the night shift. All were very professional, extremely courteous, very engaging with an earnest desire to help usually with a warm cookie. Their sense of humor was/is witty, fast, and a joy to hear them employ. They made our stay easy and as comfortable as they possibly could. There is also a young man with dreadlocks who should be included with the names above. I have nothing but high praise for all of them and do not forget the housekeeping staff. They should also be included. The restaurant is a completely different story. The staff were great but for $92 plus tip on top of the 18% gratuity already included, the breakfast was the smallest I have ever seen. With the exception of the fruit bowl I couldn't believe the small portions we received for the money we paid. The food was good, not great, just good. It was our first and last time eating there and if we should ever visit radio City music Hall again I highly doubt we will be eating there. For $538 a night a free breakfast or two would have been greatly appreciated. As I said the staff is dynamite and they are the only reason I took the time to fill this out. They deserve the recognition.

This is a Motel6 with a Hilton wrapper. I am Hilton Diamond and fully support and enjoy my Hilton stays. Every aspect of this hotel falls short of the brand. My room was barely larger than my queen bed. There was one clothes drawer for two people. Hilton is great about morning coffee - none. There is usually a comfortable place to chat - none. The food ($) allowance barely covered a bowl of yogurt. Hilton is usually good about providing water - nope and it was $4.50 per bottle. My usual reviews are positive and objective about the experience. This was unpleasant. The room typically was not cleaned until 4pm. Our last evening was closer to 7pm and so we just asked for towels. My advice - DO NOT STAY here. UPDATE: I just called the number that they provided and it never answered. I also went to the web link that they provided and it was a generic help page and had nothing to do with Customer Service.
The hotel is in a perfect location for walking to Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, and the Fifth Avenue shops. Sharmayne and Jaziah at the front desk were outstanding, both incredibly welcoming, warm, and genuinely attentive from the moment I arrived. They made check-in smooth and effortless and were always smiling, upbeat, and ready to help with anything I needed. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out and made me feel valued as a guest. Customer service like theirs is rare and truly among the best I have experienced. The room was spacious and clean, which made for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to New York.
Unwelcome feeling. People working at reception were having inapproriote music on while coming into the hotel. Requested a room in the app; one of the perks of being a member and booking direct; requested high floor front facing, received side facing low floor. No option to switch to a better room. Why do they let me choose a room and just dont give it?! I know i can change; but why let me choose in the first place? Room was fine but airconditioning didnt properly work during the day. Felt warm, moist and sticky in the room. Stinky also. Lobby often very busy with guests and guests of the restaurant. Long waiting times at the elevators. During checkout the standard discussion about the food and beverage credit. Wasnt applied correctly. Had no time to discuss it longer had tk catch my flight. Elevators had a weird smell. Hallways very anonymous. Elevators could be used by anyone, not roomkey activated. Not a safe feeling. This property is in my opinion not upto Hilton/doubletree standards. A no go for us next time. Restaurant also lacks in quality. Burnt food, standard applied service charge and lacking in proper service.
Fantastic location! Easy walk or subway ride to all of the main attractions in Manhattan. The room was smallish and laid out a bit weird, but the bed was very comfortable and clean. Everything seemed pretty new. The bathroom was a bit cramped but had all of the basics. The AC was fabulous and the temperature was easy to control. The front desk staff was helpful, friendly, and efficient. The elevators could be a bit slow but overall were fine. The view from our second floor room was, we'll, not inspiring, but we were happy to have the blackout shade at night. Overall a great experience for our first trip to NY.
