Highly recommend for the price, just check the map first! Our room was brand new, clean, and incredibly spacious for NYC—comfortably fitting three adults (using the pull-out sofa). It is a good value. Just be aware of the logistics: the hotel is located in an industrial area next to a large residential complex. There are no dining options or subway stops directly outside; the closest ones are a 10-minute walk away. We would absolutely stay here again now that we know what to expect!

We had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Long Island City! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and made the check-in process smooth and easy. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a great view of the city. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with a really nice shower. Everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully taken care of. The hotel also has a great café and restaurant, which was very convenient and offered a nice selection. Another huge plus is the location — the subway is just a very short walk away, making it extremely easy to get around New York City while staying outside the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and a convenient location. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Had a great stay at the hotel and wanted to give a special mention to Mohammed and Akhi at reception. They were both extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism and excellent customer service really stood out and made the stay even better. It’s clear they genuinely care about the guests and represent the hotel really well. A big thank you to Mohammed and Akhi — definitely a credit to the hotel. I’d happily stay here again!
Almost new at this time. Nice staff. Spotlessly clean lobby and room. Despite the 22% city tax on room and even on the $55 parking fee, this hotel is very budget friendly for being in a very very expensive city. The room is small for a normal hotel but large for NYC. Same with the double bed, which was OK comfortable. Nice new sheets! The bathroom is very nice and new although the NYC plumbers installed the faucet backwards 😂. AC system was excellent too. Be aware that the price for the wonderful hotel is low because it is next to the power station and junkyard area. Noisy day and night. Bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine.
My stay here was amazing! When we arrived, we were prepared to leave our luggage, go explore and come back to check-in at 3 p.m. However, they gave us complimentary super early check-in. Mohammed was the one helping us, and he was super nice, professional, and accommodating. He even gave us cookies upon check-in! I cannot say enough great things about this place. Our room was clean — a little small, but perfect for two people — and had everything we needed. The location was great as well: we were 11 minutes from the train, 20 minutes from LaGuardia Airport, and the nearby corner stores were a nice perk. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it!
