The Ace Hotel Brooklyn makes a good first impression, with a friendly, open lobby and an inviting bar. The drink menu was solid, and the public spaces were a pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was good, though nothing particularly memorable—I had an omelet. Our room, however, was a bit below average. The bathroom was cramped and had mildew. The furniture seemed selected more for its appearance than its usefulness: decorative, but not especially functional. The view and lack of privacy were also disappointing. Our window looked directly into a neighboring apartment, leaving us with an awkward choice: keep the curtains open for natural light and be in plain view, or close them for privacy and darken the room. There needed to be a better way to have both daylight and privacy. Overall, we enjoyed the lobby and bar, but the room needed more attention to cleanliness, comfort, and practical design.

Had an exceptional experience at the Ace! The room was immaculate with such a comfortable bed. Had everything we needed. The best part was the gracious staff. They were all so welcoming & continuing to offer any assistance any time. We can’t wait to return. The hotel itself had plenty of space to work & a 24hr gym too. Best experience in a NY hotel!
Excellent ACE location, one of my favorites having stayed at a few. Good-sized rooms for NYC and great amenities. I felt very comfortable for my 2-day trip and would have been comfortable for a longer stay as well. Location is great, it's a 4-mile run from the front door, across the brooklyn bridge to manhattan and back, awesome way to start the day. Lobby bar was top notch, great bartenders, drinks and food (make sure you get the french fries, outstanding little surprise). Will be back next time I am in Brooklyn!
I spent this past weekend at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn for my birthday, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I checked in on Friday afternoon, I knew I was in for a great stay. The front desk staff greeted me with so much warmth—they were extremely polite, kind, and professional. As a solo traveler, safety is always my top priority, and I felt completely safe and secure during my entire stay. My room on the 12th floor was beautiful, immaculate, and featured an absolutely amazing view. My floor was very quiet. Even the cleaning ladies I encountered in the hallway were super sweet and welcoming. The hotel was hosting a wedding over the weekend, so it was extremely busy, but the staff managed everything beautifully. It never felt overwhelming. The Friday night into Saturday morning crew was incredibly cool, and the gentleman working Saturday night into Sunday morning was exceptionally helpful—I appreciated his assistance so much. Even the doorman was amazing and polite every single time I walked by. This was my very first time staying at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn, and I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say. They made my birthday weekend so special. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality! This is officially my new go-to spot for quick weekend trips to the city, and I will definitely be back.
This is one of my favorite Ace Hotels, hands down! I stayed in a skyline room, and the view was incredible. I was here for work and was able to use the common areas for work meetings, which was very convenient. Special shout-out to Ron Lewis, their front office director - he helped me track down a missing receipt from their restaurant for my pesky expense report. He and his team went the extra mile, and I was so grateful. If you are staying in Brooklyn, you must stay at the Ace!
