Sunrise Taj Mahal Day Trip From Delhi With Guide & Transfers

I had an incredible sunrise trip to the Taj Mahal organized by Holiday Tours and Travels. Everything was perfectly arranged from pickup to drop-off. Our driver Mr. Papu was very professional, punctual, and drove very safely. The car was clean and comfortable, making the early morning journey from Delhi to Agra very pleasant. Thanks to the perfect timing, we reached the Taj Mahal just in time to witness the breathtaking sunrise. Mr. Papu was very courteous and helpful throughout the trip. This was a wonderful tour, beyond my expectations! Our driver arrived at our hotel on time, just before 2:30 am. He was very professional, spoke excellent English and was polite and welcoming. His car was immaculate and comfortable and his driving was skillful, safe and competent. My travelling companion and I were able to nap in the back seat on the 3-1/2 hour drive from Delhi to Agra, which took the edge off such an early start. Our guide met us in Agra, where we went directly to the Taj Mahal, in time for a lovely sunrise. He, too, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the history, culture, architecture and other aspects of this amazing place. As we toured all parts of the Taj Mahal, both outside and inside, he explained many details about the building and its grounds. He had some knowledge of the natural history -- plants and birds -- that also held our interest. There was plenty of time to explore and ask questions as well as take photographs and I never felt rushed. We were taken to a restaurant for a leisurely breakfast, which we paid for, as expected, Then we moved on to the Red Fort, which was another very interesting tour, with lots of detail from our guide and more opportunities to ask questions and take photos. Later in the day, we were taken to another restaurant and served a delicious, multi-course lunch, which was included as part of the cost of the ticket. My friend and I are both avid birders, which we shared with both our driver and guide. On the return trip to Delhi, our driver, of his own volition, stopped several times along the way to allow us to spot birds as well as a herd of Nilgai (also known as blue cows, a type of wild antelope) in some of the fields alongside the highway. While it made for a longer day for our driver, this kindness allowed us to add several new birds to our life lists, an unexpected and much appreciated bonus on this already amazing day. I would recommend this tour without hesitation!

Awesome day that exceeded expectations! Our ride was on time, in fact, slightly early. The car was pristine and our driver was polite, knowledgeable, safe and competent. We were able to nap in the car on the way to Agra, which took the edge off a very early start. Our guide met us in Agra. He was very knowledgeable on many aspects of the Taj Mahal and Red Fort and the culture of the time. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of both sites and take photographs, while at the same time pointing out so many interesting details. We never felt rushed. Me and my wife enjoyed the sunrise at Taj Mahal, our trip was well developed and organised by Holiday Tours and Travels, we reached near about 5 minutes before sunrise. Wow! It was an amazing trip to sunrise tour at Taj Mahal. I booked this tour through online. Amit was an absolutely incredible tour guide. As a solo female traveler exploring Delhi with a friend, I felt very safe and had a wonderful experience thanks to him. He helped us understand India, its culture, and Delhi itself. He went above and beyond by assisting me in retrieving my baggage from the airport when it did not arrive on the correct flight. After this, my friend and I decided to visit the Taj Mahal with him, and he arranged a guide for us, making our trip to India truly unforgettable.

My trip was a total success thanks to Holiday tour and our Driver Sanjay!!! The driver arrived to collect me on time and We Reached to Agra at Sunrise which was the best time to get the best View of Taj Mahal. later we went to Agra Fort and Local Bazaars .

We had a wonderful Sunrise trip of the Taj Mahal and the Baby Taj. Our guide was very friendly and gave us All the details regarding the history of the Taj Mahal and the Baby Taj and our Driver Sanjay pick us up at early morning. he was very Professional and tock good care of us during the trip. Everyone who loves to take pictures and wants to see the wondeful Taj Mahal from Delhi should do that Trip. Communication with driver was perfect. We started very early at 3:30 am and drove to Agrar. Arrived there at about 7:00. There we met the guide for taj mahal and agra fort. Driver and guide spoke very good english. The Guide also knew where to take good pics and where are to many People. At 2 pm we drove back for 3,5h to Delhi. The Price for that trip is a Little bit to high (that’s why only 4 stars) but you don’t have to care about nothing. Everything is well planed to have a Perfect visit of taj mahal. I would do that again definitly!

<p>Our guide was great, very knowledgeable of the sites. The driver however very nice but was falling asleep on the drive there and back. We asked him several times if he needed a break and finally on the way back to pull over as it was getting quite unsafe no only for us but all the people on the road. He would not pull over and said his car was very safe... Will not recommend anyone take a tour that includes the drive. Take the train please for you safety and others. Tour guide again was great. Driver was terrible.</p>

<p>I was lucky enough to be taken on this trip by my hubby for my 50th Birthday and I was not dissapointed with the Taj Mahal. We had booked a sunrise tour , therefore we assumed we would be in Agrah by dawn unfortunately this was not the case! Our driver who collected us from our hotel at 03.00 was about 10 mins late, then appeared to have difficulty in staying awake in what became nearly a 4 hrs drive even though there was no traffic on the roads for approx 3.5 hrs of the journey. I was forced to stay awake throughout just to talk to the driver every time his eyes closed or he veered off the main road! As dawn approached the driver stopped to go and prey which delayed us a further 15 to 20 mins. By the time we arrived at the Taj the sun was well up in the sky and the tour guide advised us he had been there waiting since 05. 30 as that was when the driver had stated we should be there. The tour guide and the tour was amazing and can not be put into words, but it was very spiritual and emotional to catch our first glimpse o this amazing place. I would give the tour guide a 10 out of 10 asfor the driver andphotogropher I would struggle with 2 out of 10. The only misleading thing about the tour was the fact that it states your entry is included on booking, but this then changes once booked, luckily we had enough rupees on us to pay the entry fee of 1000 rupees each. I wish I could say the return journey was an improvement but unfortunately not, we had to demand he stop for refreshments on the way back as once again he was falling asleep and swaying across the roads. This should of been a perfect day, IT WAS NOT but luckily the Taj was Perfect. We have tried to contact viator direct but they have ignored my emails.I would not bother booking through them again, we could of had a safer, on time service for a lower price direct from the hotel.</p>

<p>We really enjoyed the trip to the Taj Majal. It was so much easier to have a driver take us there and the guise helped us navigate the crowds. Even though we were there on time, we didn't actually see the Taj until after sunrise because they didn't admit anyone until after sunrise. The guide inside the Taj was quite knowledgeable but he kept telling us that he wasn't paid and would receive only whatever tip we gave him. We verified with the car driver that the guide was actually paid, but I guess he was hoping we didn't check it out.</p>
