See The Iconic Taj Mahal, On A Private Day Tour From Delhi

The tour guide, Madhavendra (Mona), was excellent! I would recommend him highly! He made us feel extremely comfortable throughout our trip. He is very knowledgeable about Indian history and provided us with succinct and interesting commentaries at all tourist spots. The tour is very well organized with plenty of rest stops, excellent transportation and safe for tourists from abroad.

The view was breathtaking!! I can’t recommend more. Our tour guide, Mona, was so knowledgeable about not only the history of the Taj, but the area and traveling to get there as well! We felt so comfortable following his lead and he was so great at taking as many pictures as we wanted. Overall an amazing experience. I can’t recommended the trip or Mona enough!

Wow, what a day we had yesterday. Mona arrived promptly at our hotel with his driver. We set off at 06.30 for our visit to the Taj Mahal. When we arrived, it was surprisingly quiet. We followed this with a viewing at an exceptional gallery/jewellers and hand knotted carpet producer. The tour also included Agra Fort. During the whole day, Mona provided us with extensive knowledge of all the places. To add to our great day, he was taking really good photographs on our cameras for us to keep as memories of the day. Mona can truly be described as a very friendly and informative guide.

I recommend this tour to all the people that want to experience something memorable. My tour guide, Deepak, was amazing, he showed me around and told about all the interesting and unusual things of old Delhi. It was an amazing experience like no other. The sight of the Taj Mahal makes you realize why it’s a world wonder. With Mona, we were able to have an even more immersive experience with his history background, he was great explaining even small crafting details used by the Mughals. Mona also took us to visit the town of Agra to see the Red Fort of Agra and visit an amazing Indian carpet shop.

The Taj Majal is truly an incredible sight, and Mona is a truly excellent guide. This review is for a sunrise visit to the Taj Majal, the Agra Fort, and an Agra weaving cooperative. Mona is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and was responsive to my interests & questions. I've read reviews of other guides for Taj Majal tour guides that are pushy or inflexible - Mona was the opposite. We spent more time where I was interested, and less where I wasn't. As a woman traveling alone I felt very comfortable throughout the visit, which I really appreciated. His driver was great. Highly recommend!

It was a super exciting experience, My guide Ashish had very interesting insights about the history of the landmarks and it made exploring them all the more fun! It was a very seamless experience, from the 7 hour ride to and fro Delhi , to the amazing sights, sounds and even the lunch! Amazing 2 days with our tour guide Mona. The places we visited in New Delhi was such a great experience especially with Mona providing us with a lot of the history. The Taj Mahal was such a romantic ever lasting love story. I would strongly recommend Mona.

This was a great experience! Pickup from our hotel was on time, both our driver and our tour guide Mona were very friendly. Mona is a great guide and an even better photographer! Only the pictures you will have at the end of the tour are already worth it. We got the breakfast at the Marriot hotel afterwards, which was delicious and a great way to recharge our batteries. I definitely recommend it.

Madhavendra/Mona and I were connected through another friend. I am from India and know it well, but had two American friends visiting and wanted an expert who could tell us a lot more about the Taj then I could and also take my friends safely. He surpassed my expectations- he gave us so many great details on Taj's architectures, the stories of the Mughals that I didnt know. My friends could see Taj's beauty in great depth and they got a sense of the grandeur and greatness of the Mughal empire. Madhavendra/Mona also has a great way of personalizing the tour for his audience. In short, our trip was simply outstanding.

I participated on the Old Delhi Tour with Mona and I was sure he will be the best choice to show me Agra and the tumbs I was hoping to see for a long time. First we visited the increadible Taj Mahal. I have to say, it is way more impressive and beautifu than you think and goes beyond your imagination! After Taj we headed towards Akbar and Jodha Bai's Tombs. These are less well-known or visited, however I would recommend to discover. The fine details, the simple elegance and warm colours together with the amazing gardens and widelife are heart warming! I cannot be thankful enough for Mona fulfilling my dream and sharing so much information and story through 4 generation of Emperors! Humayun, Akbar, Salim and Shah Jahan were great leaders and visionaries who made the extended India great. So if you are interested in history, great influencers and their impactful thinking, how they shaped the current face of Agra and Delhi, ask Mona :)
