Kuldeep our guide was engaging and knowledgeable about the sites visited. Our driver transported safely and minimized our walking at every stop. My spouse and I enjoyed the tour and learned much in the process. The lunch location selected was excellent and reasonable.

Itinerary
Your day starts with hotel pickup by a private driver, who takes you to Akshardham Temple, India’s largest temple complex, which opened in 2005. Akshardham Temple features a fascinating combination of grand temple architecture and high-tech interactive displays that resemble a theme park. There's a boat ride (OPTIONAL) that takes you through 10,000 years of Indian history illustrated by 3D dioramas.
Head to your next stop, the Lotus Temple, a Bahai house of worship designed in the shape of a lotus flower. Built in 1986, the stunning white marble ‘flower’ sits within 26 acres (10.5 hectares) of landscaped gardens, pools and red sandstone walkways. The central prayer hall accommodates about 2,500 people and looks as if it's open to the sky.
Nearby, pop into the extravagant ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) temple, which the Hare Krishna movement opened in 1998. The sprawling complex features elaborate high-tech exhibits based on the Bhagavad Gita (a classic Hindu scripture), as well as extensive gardens and cavernous halls.

The 3 temples are beautiful but unfortunately as it was raining our guide was clearly not very happy getting wet. The marble floors outside were extremely wet and slippy and almost dangerous barefoot. I fell over quite badly (was assisted by my son and others ) but the guide was so far ahead he was completely unaware. This was a private tour for just the two of us but he clearly did not want to be outside in the rain….
We throughly enjoyed the tour. The three temples are new but very impressive especially the Akshardham Temple. The guide information was great and helpful.
Great tour. Only negative issue. Our guide did not speak good English. So many times we couldn't understand what he was explaining
I did not get to visit the lotus temple because it was republic day, no forewarning about this. No monetary compensation as well. I was instead brought to a scarf shop, was pressured into buying a subpar scarf for INR500. A lot of hard selling, then I was treated coldly after, not even shown out of the place. Crossed a river, was pressured by the driver to take a picture of it with my film camera. Went to Iskcon, was not allowed to leave as I was seen as a tourist and had to pay for books i did not want. Was very very awkward. Offered INR100 for him to leave me alone, he wanted INR500.
To be able to visit so many iconic spot on one tour was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The Akshardham, though newly built, was history in the making. The carvings and craftsmanship will be there for years to come. Amazing work. Amazing cultural setting. Warm, friendly and welcoming. A+++
What started poorly with lack of communication with tour company turned out amazing! Young guide Prashan was exceptional! Knowledgeable, courteous, kind, friendly & fun! As taxi drove he filled us with facts & history of temples & took our pics as allowed. Driver was great too & waited for us at each site.
This trip was really amazing. My friend and I (both female) went on a trip to India. We both realize that India is not very safe as it can be difficult sometimes. But with proper planning and sticking to the itinerary we aced it. it became an experience of a lifetime. I was always fascinated by temples, and this was my chance to explore Hinduism and temple architecture. it was only because of the guide who took us all the way and explained everything in an interesting way. Akshardham was the best- it has the amazing magnitude of detaining and ornamentation. It was spectacular to see this beautiful temple. I really liked the peacefulness of Lotus Tempel as well. Thanks to the guide and the team. Congrats.
Our guide Sing was waiting at the lobby for us. He was so cordial and very chilled. First we went to Akshardham temple. We got there at 9:30 which is so important to beat the crowds. You want to be able to move freely through the temple and look everything closely. The beauty of having the driver is that we left all our things in the car, since you can’t bring phones or cameras inside with you. I asked him about the fountains, the movie and the boat ride. It’s totally fine to skip that. The movie is about this man of faith, the boat ride is an indoor thing like it’s a small world and I can’t emphasize the advantage of going with less people. The ISKCON temple is wonderful, flower petals are being sewn into necklaces, there is singing, and the altars are phenomenal. Lotus temple, beautiful, peaceful. Lunch was delicious at a restaurant with great service. We ended with the Qtub Minar. The knowledge and vastness of stories and details that Sing gave us were amazing. This tour is a must.
I traveled solo to Delhi and had a few days in the city. I originally hoped to find a group tour of the city and contacted numerous tour operators to see if they had any group tours going but, alas, I didn't find any. Of the various tour companies I contacted, Delhi Airport Services Pvt Ltd had one of the better values for a private solo tour, and the experience was fantastic. The tour included a guide and driver, which is nice because it saved time getting dropped off & picked up right in front of the sites, and my guide Girdhar was super informative, and helped me learn a lot about India, Delhi, and many aspects of Hindu culture and other religions. Akshardham was beautiful and there were virtually no other foreign tourists there, but it's well deserving of a visit. Next was the Baha'i "Lotus temple" and ISKON temples. Then a break for lunch at Lord of the Drinks, which felt like the TGIFridays of India and was fun to experience. After lunch it was around 2pm and rather than fight the Delhi traffic to get to Chattarpur temple, my guide proposed that we change the itinerary to see a Sikh temple instead which was located closer to my hotel and I agreed. The Sikh temple was a wonderful experience to see the devotion of the local people, chanting inside and bathing in a large pool outside, and there was a large dining room where any person, regardless of religion, can come to get a free meal. It was fascinating to take a walk through the kitchens (barefoot!) where volunteers cook huge vats of veggie stews and roti bread is handmade by the hundreds. If you are debating whether to take a tour, you could certainly either hire a taxi for 8 hours to take you from site to site, or just take taxi, Uber or rickshaws relatively inexpensively, however the experience with the guide was infinitely richer, and I learned so much more about India and the local culture by having my guide Girdhar point out features of the art and architecture, and help show you where to take your shoes off, cover your hair, etc at the temples, since there aren't many explanatory signs and all of the temples are quite crowded and you don't want to waste time in the wrong line. Additionally if you are the only guest(s) on the tour, you can customize a bit as I did. This was a great tour to do on a Monday since all of the temples are open, while some other sites around Delhi are closed on Mondays. Highly recommended!
This tour was excellent. We had previously done other tours in other parts of India but found this tour to be the most informative. The guide was very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. The temples were beautiful.
This is an amazing place!!! Too bad we can’t take pictures inside so many people don’t know about it. Must do when in New Delhi.. if you like Art you enjoy the unique man work s. in this modern time how they can make it and take a long time to made .please visit this Akshardham Temple
My wife and I arrived in Delhi and found ourselves a little overwhelmed trying to get around. After looking on trip advisor we found the private tour of Akshardham Temple and Spiritual Sites of South Delhi Including ISKCON Temple. Our guide Girdhar Singh was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about culture, traditions, history and religions. Singh made our experience extremely memorable. We would highly, highly recommend him as a tour guide. Absolutely fantastic!!!!!
We were quite intimidated by Dehli on our first day there and needed a tour guide on Day 1 to help us get our bearings. We booked this tour at 10pm for the morning but our guide was at the hotel with a big smile first thing in the morning. We had a really excellent and informative day. We were set after that. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this to anyone.
It was turely a unique experience..the temple grounds is a neat and clean.definienty a must see to every one
<p>I booked 2 tours with this company, this and the Taj Mahal day trip. Both tours were very professional and worth the time saved by using the guides. Special praise for Munshi, our driver on both trips. And our Taj Mahal guide Sanjay Shukla who really made our visit memorable. Give that man a raise!</p>
<p>Great tour. Akshardham was simply amazing and one of the best temples I have ever seen. Remember to keep your phones and extra electronic equipment in your car or you will have to wait in line for a locker!<br/> Great guide as well.</p>
Worth every second and minute. Had a perfect day tour in Delhi. Sunny walk tho, with some extra charges. But everything else is fine. Overall, great!
<p>Excelente plus, the guider very knowledge and patiently all times.</p>
<p>Arrangements worked perfectly. Guide Evi? was excellent. Akshardham is spectacular - but cameras not allowed. The Lotus temple is also impressive and a great place to sit aand contemplate: cameras allowed, but not inside the main area. Were lucku enough to encounter a wedding at the ISKCON.</p>
<p>Be prepared to be surprised in some of the temples and soak in the atmosphere, particularly at ISKCON. Being comfortable shoes, and expect to take them off at every stop, including some walking in the street/sidewalk barefoot.</p>
<p>Amazing! The lady guide was smart, informed and helpful.</p>
<p>Very disappointed. The guide showed up late and asked me: So what are we seeing today? What? I wasn't prepared with a print out of the tour we booked which I had painstakingly researched in the days before leaving the US. We had 1 free day before joining a 16 day tour of India with OAT so I tried to get a one day tour which wouldn't duplicate what was on the itinerary and which I thought would be most interesting to us. So here we are in a hotel lobby with our phones on wifi and I'm distressed searching the web for the tour. I found one that was a runner up, not my first choice and had trouble letting go of that. Being my first time in India, I wouldn't have been able to know just how short changed I was except that our tour included the Sikh Temple and the OAT guide took us there again the next day. Night and day difference. This guide took us in and said little except how lucky we were service was going on. He failed to show or tell us about how many people they serve food to where as the OAT guide not only showed us the dining hall but also the kitchen which was very impressive and our group got to assist with making the naan. Lastly, our tour ended almost two hours early because we were lucky there wasn't traffic. If you take one of these I hope you are luckier than we were with the guide and recommend you have a print out of your intended tour.</p>
<p>Wonder transport Good tour guide well worth the tour</p>
<p>Started off 2017 with a tour of Delhi's main temples. Both the guide and driver were very helpful and professional. There was flexibility in what I wanted to see and the guide provided indepth information on each temple, not to mention other topics we both found of interest. Full recommendation for this great tour, the temples are just stunning and the service was very good.</p>
<p>Great tour, Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly. The Akshardham temple was a highlight, so beautiful!</p>
<p>Akshardham is stunning! An absolute must see if you're in New Delhi.</p>
<p>The tour guide and the driver were fantastic, professional and arrived on time. The guide was knowledgeable and explained about the temples and history of India. Bad side of tour- If you get car sick, take pills before, it's a lot of driving and turns, traffic and bad drivers. Overall was great!</p>
<p>Ashkardam is amazing. Too bad photos are not allowed inside. you just really have to see them with your own eyes. But of course nothing beats Taj Mahal . Our experience from visiting different temples is very enlightening. We have learned so much and somehow we felt spiritually energized. On a different note, Shanti our driver is very kind enough to take us to Raj Ghat even if it is not included in the package. Our lady guide also brought us to a shop that tailors authentic indian dresses. They will get your measurements and create it according to your desired style from a variety of beautiful fabrics to choose from. They will even deliver it to your hotel! Speaking of which, I had a little panic as the delivery was quite late and it was my flight the next day. As always, Shanti and our lady guide saved the day by contacting the shop. This tour company and its employees are very reliable. Thank you again!</p>
