What a long day! But I felt I saw and experienced things my other tours won't include. I visited in late June, and it was easily pushing 100F, with some sprinkles in the afternoon. I was the only non-Indian tourist all day...It's about 4 hours to Haridwar (stopped along the way for breakfast) where we picked up the guide and continued driving to Rishikesh. There we saw people bathing in the Ganges, walked through the streets, visited holy temple sights, walked across both bridges, stopped for some AC and iced coffee, walked to the Beatles Ashram (by my request), then back over the 2nd bridge. Then we drove back to Haridwar to see hundreds if not thousands of Indian bathing in the holy waters. Then drove home, stopping for dinner on the way. We started at 6 am and I got home at 10:30 pm. My driver was very safe and my guide was informative, making sure to give me time to walk slower with a sore foot.

Though we had a long tour including Corbett safari to Kausani to Nainital, we very much enjoyed one-day trip to Rishikesh and Haridwar ropeway riding. We also saw Har ki Pouri Ganga arti at Haridwar. Ms. Pooja made liaison with us. She is very cooperative, always responding to titbits of our needs. I am an aged physician and my wife is a retired school teacher. Ms. Pooja was always virtually with us to provide us a hassle free tour. I must also mention about our driver Sharma Ji who was very caring and dutiful.

We had a wonderful tour of Haridwar and Rishikesh and can’t recommend it highly enough. Our driver was fantastic — incredibly friendly, professional, and thoughtful throughout the day. He shared a lot of history while driving, checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and was always happy to stop whenever we asked. He even recommended a great restaurant along the way. Despite starting very early in the morning and finishing late at night — and dealing with some less-than-ideal weather — he maintained a consistently positive attitude that really set the tone for the day. Our tour guide was equally excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we were able to see everything we hoped to see. He shared fascinating background on the region, especially its importance in Hinduism, which added so much depth and meaning to the experience. His explanations were clear, engaging, and never rushed. Overall, this was a smooth, well-organized, and enriching experience with a team that truly cared about making the day special. We’re very glad we chose this tour and would absolutely recommend it to others.

The driver was excellent. It took us 4-5 hours to get there. We picked up the tour guide and walked around a little and had lunch. The tour guide seemed to lecture us vs giving us a tour. The ceremony was the most interesting part. After it was over, we drove 4 hours home. It was a very long day, not sure what we saw justified 9 hours in the car.

My wife and I traveled from USA to Haridwar in January and had an excellent one night stay at the Sarovar Portico. The hotel is impeccably maintained, with an impressive, tasteful decor and delicious buffet breakfast. The room was reasonably priced, heated/climate controlled and I recommend taking the breakfast. I had an amazing day on the tour. My driver Mr BL Sharma took incredible care of me, driving for around 10 hours in total, he made sure I had refreshments and drove through difficult foggy and smoggy conditions to get me safely to my tour guide Chandresh. My guide was fantastic. He told me more than 50 stories about Hinduism and the different sites and temples and was very professional and knowledgeable - would highly recommend him as your guide! It's a beautiful location with the mountains and the ceremony in the evening was very moving. Definitely worth doing if you feel you've done everything you want to see in Delhi.

I did the tour with FT Holiday India with the pickup from my hotel in Delhi. My driver Sharma was great and I felt very safe. My guide was also great showing me around and he did follow my wishes to stay longer at certain places. Nothing was rushed and it was very informative. I liked the different places we have visited, from temples to Ashrams to markets and the Festival in the end.

Good people and reliable driver, showed us around both cities. Very important for foreigners to feel safe and comfortable. Key attraction is obviously the Gaanga Arti which makes the long trip worth it if it's a once in a lifetime thing. Note the trip is very long and tiring, started at 7am from Delhi and arrived at the first sight at ~11.30am. Sightseeing until 5.30pm when the Gaanga Arti starts at Haridwar, until ~6.15pm when you can be on your way back home. Appreciating that some people/men may have not seen foreigners before and our guides were quite helpful, but I think more could be done especially to make women feel safer from locals staring and acting weird. Tour recommended for anyone wanting to experience these very nice sights.

One of the best time spent in Rishikesh. The ganga aarti ceremony was fantastic. We loved aashrams and river side boat riding was great. The places is very pious and religious. Lots of priest around and fantastic day spent. Highly recommended

The arrangements from pick up till drop was very smooth and amazing, the itinerary they made was very good and according to our requirement as we had a flight next day for US. This add-on was one of the highlights of our trip to India to do the Golden Triangle, and we found it to be worth the long drive. First of all, our driver, Bl Sharma, was a lovely man and made the journey very comfortable and pleasant. We did the tour with the guide and we found this helpful for explaining what we were seeing throughout our time in Rishikesh and Haridwar. The highlight, though, was Ganga Aarti. It was unforgettable. I highly recommend this day trip for those strapped for time.

Very bad Taxi and driver was not giving any option to stop at restaurants. Given Taxi was very small and old and not comfortable at all. Driver was stopping as per his will.

It's a longer drive from and to Delhi, so be prepared for a good 9 hour total in the car. The driver was super humble and nice and did everything to make my journey as comfortable as possible, and even provided a pillow. Very sweet and kind. The guide Ajay too was amazing and ensured a informative time and all the comforts during the tour. He is very knowledgeable about the Hindu customs and history, you can learn a lot from him. Loved the tour. It mentions a Pooja by a hindu priest in the agenda that is included in the tour, but there was no such thing - but it's not a big deal. I loved Rishikesh and will rate it 5 star
