Private Agra Overnight Tour With Four Star Hotel Accommodation

My mom and I took a trip to India for a wedding. Prior to the wedding though, we wanted to do a little sightseeing. I did a lot of research and found this tour company through TripAdvisor, with great reviews. I ended up booking the Private Agra Overnight Tour, however, I contacted Agra tours and they customized it to include 5 star accommodations. (We did this mostly because we were two women traveling alone and the price difference was pretty marginal). Even though the reviews were great, I was still a little nervous about how everything would work out. After all, we were in a completely foreign country with 0 ability to speak the language. Plus, because we customized it, we didn’t end up booking through TripAdvisor but through Agra tours themselves and therefore didn’t have the extra layer of TripAdvisor security. I am very happy to report that my slight apprehension was for nothing! Ravi, our driver picked us up right on time from our hotel and the whole tour was seamless from that moment on. Ravi is a wonderful, kind, thoughtful and experienced driver. Driving in India is definitely a little chaotic but Ravi handled it with true expertise. He made us feel safe and comfortable. And also somehow always managed to pull up right in front of our destination (when there was major traffic, congestion and gridlock), so that we felt like we were some sort of VIPs. For the purposes of information, I will say that his handle on English is decent (but not great). You could communicate with him but there was still a little language barrier. This is not meant to be an insult though, I mean, his English is leaps and bounds better than my Hindi. I just wanted to mention it so that others looking to book know what to expect. Also, it didn’t really matter because our tour guide’s (Nadeem Ahmad) grasp of English was great and he was there the majority of the time to facilitate anyway. Nadeem may have been the best part of the whole tour experience. He was a truly great, warm and friendly tour guide. He can be quiet and humble at times but don’t let this fool you, he has vast experience and is very knowledgeable. In fact, he’s done private tours for many prominent, impressive and discerning people over the course of his career. He’s also an excellent photographer! He manages to get photos that are expertly framed with great lighting, etc. That was a happy surprise that I was not expecting. If he suggests that you change the time-frame of the planned activities, I would trust him on it. We were supposed to do a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal but he said that this time of year and for various other reasons, it would be better to go later and he was 100% correct! We were able to see the Taj during low peak hours and it was a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough about how impressed my mom and I were with Nadeem and how lucky we felt to have him as our guide. Over the years, we’ve done a lot of private tours, mostly through a company called Mountain Travel Sobek (MTS), which is well known for their experienced and well-seasoned guides. I would hands-down say that Nadeem is right up there with some of the best tour guides I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. The more time you spend talking to him and engaging with him, the more obvious this becomes. Bottom line is: we were very happy that we ended up booking with Agra tours. Hope this review helps someone else!

We booked this tour just 2 days before its beginning as we wanted to visit the Taj Mahal in a private organised tour for exactly 2 days. So this overnight tour was perfect for us coming from Mumbai. We could arrange pick up drop off from airport easily with Mr Rishi Lawania, our excellent and caring driver. He took us to Agra from Delhi airport and on the route he treated us to delicious clay pot teas. We reached Agra early afternoon and met our knowledgeable local guide Mr Danish with whom we visited the Itimad ud daula and discovered the great view of Taj Mahal from the garden by sunset. Next day we visited Taj Mahal by sunrise , beautiful and perfect time , less crowd and pleasant weather. Later in the day we visited the Agra fort, beautiful and grand. We were also made to visit some 'government approved' safe to buy souvenir shops, stones, carpet and marble carving family stores .We also ate in some local nice restaurants , 'Kesar' which is apparently famous for its delicious cuisine. It was a nice experience. By end of afternoon we were enrolee Delhi for another tour. Overall a nice short tour ,professional, well organised and confortable , the way we expected. A fantastic tour. Everything was clockwork. Zuhaib the guide is to be earnestly recommended. He was courteous, knowledgeable and is a perfect ambassador to his country. Rizwan, the driver, over the two days was a discreet and attentive companion.

The overnight tour of Agra and the visit to Taj Mahal was the highlight of my India trip. Manu's (tour guide) vivid narratives and Mr. Shailender's (driver) professional, prompt, and courteous service gave me a little more understanding of India's rich culture, her colorful and complex history, and some of the challenges facing her today. A fantastic photographer as well, Manu's chronicles and his recommendations and encouragement to dig beyond standard conventional tropes transforms you from a tourist to traveller, if you allow yourself to go a little out of your comfort zone. I visited the shops, met the shopkeepers and artisans, listened to their stories about their products and their deep connection to the Taj Mahal, and stuck to my budget. Now that I'm back home, I'm glad I have some beautiful unique keepsakes and a more nuanced view of India and her people.

We traveled on the Private Overnight Agra Tour after spending 2 nights in Delhi - the pre arrangements with Imran was great - we had trouble transferring the deposit, however, he was very flexible in making full payment in Agra. We were picked up very promptly by Rizwan Ji our driver, and he was excellent throughout - car was very clean, supplied with water and was always on time throughout the tour - including getting us back to Delhi Airport safely and timely, on our return - thank you. Now the downside, our 1st guide Nadeem, was a disappointment - he wasn't very energized about any aspect of the tour, and indeed tried to persuade us the Taj Mahal Sunrise Tour was overrated, and maybe to go later in morning. Nonetheless we insisted, and when there, his focus was on introducing us to a photographer, who then proceed to try to rip us off - after 20 mins he then gave us some "private time" to go inside the Taj on our own. When we saw other enthusiastic guides with other people inside - we realized what good guides could add. He seemed to lose his enthusiasm further when having not purchased a carpet the evening before , we stated we didn't want to go on the Jewelry Tour. Our luck changed as Deepanshu turned up as our guide after lunch for our afternoon tour of Agra Fort - what a difference - enthusiastic, personable, excellent knowledge and told a real story - 90 mins passed so quickly ( previous guide had said 45 max would be needed ). So message is check all the reviews and make sure you request a repeatedly recommended guide - this is the key factor in having an enjoyable and memorable tour.

My sister and I booked this tour to provide transportation between Delhi and Agra and to see the Taj Mahal. Our driver, Ravi picked us up on time from our hotel in Delhi and made sure we were comfortable during our drive to Agra. Zuhaib, our guide, met us at our hotel in Agra and took us to see the Baby Taj and the view of the Taj Mahal at sunset from the Moonlight Garden. We visited the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort the next day.. Zuhaib is a wonderful guide and Ravi is a great driver. They made our trip to the Taj Mahal memorable!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 day 1 night tour to Agra. A private car picked us up right on time from our hotel in Delhi, and drove us the 3-4 hours to Agra, where we picked up our Tour Guide, Danish. We toured some of Agra that afternoon, slept at the hotel, and then visited the Taj Majal at 7am the next morning. Danish was a fantastic guide, passionate about India's history and a great story teller. One of my friends had previously toured Agra with Danish, and she recommended him to us. We asked many questions, and Danish was able to answer everything. He was even a great photographer - it felt like we had a professional photographer with us at the Taj - the photos are truly something we will cherish forever. Having a private tour was an incredible way to see the sights of Agra in an intimate, educational setting. We would recommend requesting Danish to be your guide!

Really good experience with these guys.As a single female traveller I have my reservations about looking around alone but these guys were the perfect solution. Imran worked to organise the trip to ensure I got to do everything I wanted to on the trip. He was also quick to respond to any queries that I had. From a tour perspective the tour guide(Danish) was informative and worked hard to ensure that I got the most out of the trip. He was also on hand to take any pictures that I wanted and knew the best spots! My driver(Madan) was also amazing and ensured I got the most out of my trip. I ended up leaving this tour feeling like i had been with friends and would definitely recommend these guys.

This was our first trip to India and won't be our last; one of the reasons, our amazing driver, Manvendra. Agra Day Tours were recommended by one of my India colleagues through work and they truly excelled. Manvendra met us on arrival at Delhi airport, our air conditioned car and bottles of chilled water were at the ready (my it was hot!) We left Delhi airport heading for Agra, what an experience but felt completely save the whole journey. Over the next 2 days, Mavendra ensured that we were looked after in every sense, he was very enthusiastic, courteous and knew his job extremely well, he catered for everything we ask for... Manvendra and Manu (our guide), take great pride in their profession and I would have doubts in recommending them, so much so that we will be requesting their services next year (2019) when we intend to visit Jaipur and surrounding areas. Thank you to Manvendra for an amazing time in Agra & Delhi and memories that we will never forgot :-)

Met Manvendra at Delhi Airport where we set off for Agra, Leaving Delhi was a mind blowing experience however never felt anything but completely at ease and safe with Manvendra driving. For the next 2 days we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the sites we had requested to see. Manvendra was very professional and took great pride in his work and very informative with a good knowledge of all that was to see during our travels. Both he and our guide Manu made a great team and will be requesting their services again next year (2019) where we plan to visit Jaipur Thank you Manvendra for a great journey and even greater memories, we look forward to meeting up with yourself and Manu next year!

On our trip to India we went with this company as we had been recommended it by friend which had previously went with this company. We felt very safe and looked after on our trip! We had an excellent guide Danish Khan and our driver was a gent Satush Khumar. We felt extremely comfortable on our trip, the itinerary was completed for us and worked really well. I would highly recommend this company and asking for our guide and driver, we could not have asked for better.

What a wonderful tour with Agra Day Tours! We had a great tour guide who was hilarious, our attentive driver, and we even met the owner so he could make payment easier for us!! Staff was knowledgable and listened to what we wanted to do and see. Our group arrived on different days, so they tailored our trip to ensure we would all perfectly meet up at one location within 15 mins of each other. It was an excellent experience from the moment we sent our request through their website. Imran came back very soon with all the details about schedule, booking and payments, all perfectly clear. We were on a tight schedule, so requested airport pick-up and our driver was waiting for us at Delhi, ready to start our trip around midday. Three and half hours later, after a safe drive we were in Agra to meet with Zuhaib, our tour guide. We didn't explicitly request a Spanish speaking guide and were surprised with his excellent pronunciation and vocabulary. After checkin-in at our hotel, Zuhaib took us to see Baby Taj and Taj Mahal from opposite side of Yamuna river. Next morning we went to see Taj Mahal around 7 AM to avoid crowds, following our tour guide's recommendation. After breakfast, we went to see some local arts (jewelry and marble) and then Agra Fort. Zuhaib is knowledgeable and kind and we had a really good time in Agra, thanks to him and tour company that made everything perfect for us. Totally recommended, especially if you're looking for a Spanish speaking guide.

We had a great experience with Agra Tours and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a visit to the Golden Triangle. We owe this experience in large part to our tour guide, Nadeen and driver, Veerpal. Nadeen was friendly, knowledgeable and did an excellent job managing logistics throughout our tour. He did a great job reading the group and adjusting the itinerary accordingly (e.g., stopping for lunch and bathroom breaks regularly; skipping a few smaller sites to avoid traffic and keep us on schedule). Specifically, he did a great job improvising during our visit to the Taj Mahal, when smog/fog resulted in VERY poor visibility. After a 5+ hour drive to Agra and a 5AM wakeup call to see the Taj Mahal, the group's morale was understandably low, but Nadeen did a great job making light of the situation and still managed to give a very informative tour. When he saw that the fog had started to burn off, he changed up the itinerary and took us to Moonlight Gardens to ensure we got a better view of the Taj Mahal before we departed. Our driver, Veerpal, was equally impressive. He somehow managed to navigate us safely through heavy traffic and VERY low visibility in Agra due to smog/fog. Our group was continually shocked by the challenging driving conditions in Jaipur and Agra and were very thankful to have a skilled driver to get us safely from point A to point B.

Our trip was honestly perfect. We were greeted at the airport by our driver and taken to our hotel in Agra to meet our guide Manu. From there we went to the Fort and to see the Taj Mahal by sunset. The next morning we went to the Taj Mahal for a sunrise visit--and beat all the crowds, then toured Agra for the rest of the day before being driven to the airport. Manu was an amazing guide was so knowledgeable and answered every question, and Imran, the company owner was a master in customer service, so impressed by his professionalism. We were two women travelers and felt safe and well taken care of the entire trip. Highly recommend this company!!
