Exceptional India Trip — Highly Recommended We visited India at the end of July 2026 and had an absolutely amazing trip covering Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, personalized, and completely stress-free. Janu and his team were outstanding. Janu took the time to understand our requirements and preferences, including traveling with our two children (ages 14 and 12), and customized the entire itinerary around our family. What really stood out was that there were no sales pitches or pressure tactics—the focus was genuinely on making sure we had the best possible experience. Our driver, Mr. Diwaker, was excellent. The car was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and having cold water and snacks available throughout the journey was a wonderful touch. The guides were another highlight of the trip. Manu in Delhi, Raj in Agra, and Mr. Surya in Jaipur and Adil in Udaipur were all knowledgeable, personable, and excellent at explaining the history and significance behind each monument and destination. They didn’t just give us facts—they shared the stories, legends, and myths that brought each place to life, all in excellent English. They also understood that we wanted time to explore on our own. They gave us plenty of space, were never pushy, and were incredibly considerate given the hot and humid July weather. They even took some fantastic, Instagram-worthy photos for us along the way! The guides also did a great job recommending the right handicraft and souvenir stores based on our interests and preferences. One tip: remember to negotiate! In our experience, the final price was often around 30% lower than the initial asking price. Although we selected our own hotels and flights, Janu helped arrange and book everything on our behalf. That made the entire trip incredibly easy and hassle-free. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond really set the service apart. I highly recommend Janu and his team for anyone planning a trip to India—or even travel beyond India. Janu genuinely cares about his clients, constantly checks in to make sure everything is going well, and never seems to lower the bar when it comes to service. We came home with wonderful memories of India and a very positive impression of the people who helped make the journey so special. If you’re planning a trip to India, I would not hesitate to recommend Janu and his team.

I can wholeheartedly say that India is one of the most vibrant, beautiful, and fascinating countries I’ve ever visited. Its history, culture, architecture, and people have left a lasting impression on me. A huge reason our experience was so positive was our tour with Janu Private Tours. We were fortunate to be recommended the company by friends who had traveled with them years ago, and now we completely understand why they spoke so highly of them. Without hesitation, we would recommend them to anyone planning a trip to India. From our very first conversations with Aqeel, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and throughout the trip we always felt supported, comfortable, and incredibly well looked after. Our driver, Sunil, was exceptional. He was always punctual, endlessly patient, and made every journey feel safe and effortless. Navigating India’s busy roads is no small feat, but Sunil did so with remarkable skill and calmness. His kindness, attentiveness, and quiet sense of humor made him an important part of our experience. One of the things we appreciated most was having knowledgeable local guides in each city. Rather than simply showing us famous landmarks, they brought each place to life through stories, historical context, and insights we never would have discovered on our own. The forts, palaces, temples, and museums became so much more meaningful because of their passion and expertise. Surya, Mehrag, and Joji were all fantastic guides—welcoming, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. They answered every question with enthusiasm and helped us develop a much deeper appreciation for India’s rich and complex history. And finally, we had the pleasure of meeting Janu himself in Jaipur. It was wonderful to hear the story behind the company and see firsthand the passion and integrity that have shaped it. That personal connection made an already outstanding experience feel even more special. If you’re considering a trip to India and want to explore the country with people who genuinely care about creating unforgettable experiences, we couldn’t recommend Janu Private Tours more highly. It was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our journey.
We were lucky enough to find Janu Private Tours through friends who had traveled with them a few years ago and couldn’t stop raving about their experience. Now we completely understand why! From day one, Aqeel was amazing to work with. He was patient with all of our questions, always quick to respond, and helped us put together an itinerary that was perfect for us. A huge shoutout to our driver, Sunil, who kept us safe, comfortable, and stress-free throughout the trip. His kindness, professionalism, and guidance made our time with him very enjoyable. Surya, Mehrag, and Joji, the local guides arranged in each city, were absolutely fantastic! Their knowledge was incredible, they had answers to every question, and they made learning about the history and culture so interesting! We came away feeling like we learned so much! One of the coolest moments of the trip was meeting Janu himself in Jaipur. It was great hearing about his travels and how he built the company. You can really see how much passion he has for creating memorable experiences for his guests. What impressed us even more was that his care for his guests didn’t stop when our tour ended. As we continued traveling around India on our own, he took the time to check in on us, make sure everything was going smoothly, and offer helpful advice for the next stages of our journey. Having someone so knowledgeable looking out for us made traveling independently feel much less daunting and showed how genuinely invested he is in his guests’ experiences. From start to finish, the whole team made us feel welcomed, looked after, and completely at ease. Everything ran smoothly, and we were able to focus on enjoying the adventure. We left India with incredible memories, new friends, and a long list of stories to tell back home. Next time we are back in India we will be booking with Janu tours again! Highly, highly recommend for your next India trip!
I only have fantastic things to say about booking through Janu Private Tours. My partner and I did the Golden Triangle tour, starting in Delhi and ending in Jaipur, and we honestly cannot speak highly enough of the attentiveness, flexibility, and care shown throughout the entire experience. From the airport pickup to taking us absolutely anywhere we wanted to go, and patiently waiting wherever we were, nothing ever felt like too much to ask. Every part of the trip felt seamless and genuinely tailored to us. Both guides we had were excellent. Imran was incredibly knowledgeable, and his photography skills were such a bonus throughout our time in Agra. Akram was equally brilliant in Jaipur, flexible, warm, and very hospitable. By that stage of the trip, we were slightly overloaded with forts and monuments and wanted to experience more of the everyday life and soul of Jaipur instead. With very little notice, Akram completely adapted the day and showed us the city more like a local would. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Aqeel was also incredibly responsive on WhatsApp at all times and was always there to help us plan and answer any questions along the way. The true standout for us, though, was our driver, Zaheer, who is also in the attached photo. He was such a kind, professional, and thoughtful presence throughout the trip. He was friendly and conversational, while always respecting our space and downtime too. He kept the beautifully maintained sedan stocked with water, drove expertly through long distances and busy roads, and always waited for us somewhere easy to find. He even took us around Delhi himself, which we really appreciated. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely looked after for the entire trip. It is clear that Janu Private Tours has an exceptional team, and every single person we interacted with contributed to making our experience so memorable. If you are unsure whether booking a private tour and car for the Golden Triangle is worth it, absolutely do it. We could not recommend Janu Private Tours more highly.
Went with 12 women in a luxury van filled with water, pops, candy and snacks. Added a Tiger Safari at Ranthanbore! If you want to be pampered and driven to see lovely India, staying at great, comfy, beautiful lodgings, by people that are so kind and treat you like family, go with Janu Tours. Every need was met, and those you didn’t even know you needed: impromptu stops for Lassi and Masala Chai! You will not regret booking with Janu Private Tours! I’ll be back to book a month long visit with elephants!!
There is no words to describe our expérience with Janu Tour ! But I have to share my experience so I Will try 😅 It was just amazing! It is not just a simple trip, it is s much more ! We saw so much beautiful places, but also live a lot of amazing expérience with our perfect driver, Jetu. He show us so much things that it was not expected, explain us the way of indian's life, care of us ( we were little sick), and find us perfects places to eat or to sleep ! Just perfect ✨ And a big thank to Janu who organisé us a perfect trip for a Perfect hollyday !
Janu Tours made travelling through India super easy, and also enabled us to see far more than we would have been able to alone. Every day of our 2-week trip was packed with sightseeing, and having a driver enabled us to cover so much ground without having to worry. Our driver, Sunil, was honestly one of the highlights of the trip! He looked after us incredibly well, and became a friend to us. He was professional, and taught us so much about how India works today, and was incredibly honest and approachable when we had questions / needed something. The car, Sonia, was always immaculate, and was always exactly where we needed her. Alongside Sunil, Janu had also arranged tour guides for each city to spend a couple of days with us and take us to the monuments and places of interest. They were all (Khan in Delhi, Farid in Agra, Suriya in Jaipur) incredibly knowledgeable and well-paced. Suriya especially in Jaipur was very good at allowing us time to explore the monuments ourselves after he had explained about them, and Farid in Agra was one of the most passionate guides I have had the pleasure to experience. If you’re considering an Indian adventure, Janu will make it the smoothest and most fulfilling experience possible!
Janu Tours are outstanding. Even before we left the UK we had an itinerary that was tailor made for us as a family and that was communicated beautifully. From the minute we arrived at Delhi we were looked after superbly. They take care of everything and you are free to enjoy your Indian adventure. You can feel how much Janu and Aqeel care about their customers and they genuinely made us feel like friends. They are first class at what they do. Our driver Sunil is an absolute legend. The car (Sonia!) is comfortable and always beautifully clean. Fresh water was always available and Sunil made driving in India such fun! Sunil is calm, clever and great fun 🤩. Our guides were brilliant. All of them were knowledgeable and we learned so much. The visit to each temple, tomb and city was perfectly structured so that we had time to enjoy each visit. They all took the most amazing photos for us too which we loved! Our Jaipur guide Suriya deserves a special mention - our visit to the observatory was a particular highlight - his tour there was superb. If you are planning a visit to India Janu and his team are the people to choose. An amazing adventure.
We did a women's group trip to India for Diwali and Janu Private Tours was our local operator and guide service. They did an outstanding job from start to finish with our group. They went above and beyond at every point, stocking our vehicle with water and snacks, taking us for impromptu road side masala chai stops, organizing the best dinners and local guides. Plus, his team of guides, drivers and staff made our group of ladies feel welcome and safe at every point in the trip. The grand finale was a private dinner overlooking Jaipur to take in the lights and fireworks of Diwali! Not only would I 10/10 recommend Janu Private Tours to anyone, but I will definitely be back in India to travel with his company and guides again.
The tour with Janu was perfect all around; we didn't have to worry about anything. They just told us what time we were starting, and then we were off. We didn't have to wait in line anywhere. And we were shown the best tourist spots and insider tips. Wonderful restaurants, all of which were very good, but the best food was at Janu's hotel. A completely worry-free package, highly recommended! 10/10
Janu private tours was one of the best for so many reasons it's hard to to pick out just the highlights as we were lucky enough to experience so many wonderful things. Upon arriving at the Marigold Inn in Jaipur my friends and I were greeted by one of the most amazing displays of traditional song and dance that India has to offer. In all of our years of travels this was by far the warmest reception we have received at any hotel or homestay. The most memorable and cherished part of our trip was our local guide, Ayub, he was warm, kind, and very knowledgeable. He was helpful and always available to snap a quick picture or stop traffic so we could strike a pose. I know that I will one day return to the Marigold, not only for all of its heartfelt hospitality but also the family atmosphere provided by all those who work and stay at this magical place.
I truly enjoyed my Golden Triangle tour that was put together by Janu and his team. Our driver Zaheer picked up us at Delhi Airport and drove us to Agra to see the early morning tour of the Taj Mahal. We had our tour guide Mehraj (arranged by Janu) to explain in detail all the specifics to the Taj Mahal. Mehraj spent the whole day with us and explained to us the history of Taj Mahal; Agra; Yamna River; etc. Zaheer then drove us to Jaipur. Our tour guide in Jaipur was Surya. Surya was very knowledgeable about the history of Jaipur and was very informative. My highlight of my time in Jaipur was going to the elephant preserve. At the elephant preserve we got to feed and spend time with the elephants with different activities. Zaheer then drove us back to Delhi. Jogi was our tour guide for our Delhi tour. He was a wealth of knowledge and information regarding Delhi. Chandni Chowk was the highlight of our tour there. He spent the majority of the day with us to show the highlights of Delhi. The next day we had Lala be our helper to find for my wife the shopping stores for the things she was looking to buy. He even managed to find a gentleman do mehendi (henna) for my wife and my daughter. Five stars to Janu and his team for this tour. It was very memorable and everyone went the extra mile to make it MEMORABLE and ENJOYABLE.
An incredible experience from start to finish. The booking process is easy and they cater to your specific interests. Jeethu, our driver/guide was not just interesting and knowledgeable but he became a friend. Janu, the owner, made us a wonderful dinner one evening. Truly an experience that cannot be missed.
If you are going to India you definitely want Janu! I didn’t think I would feel so comfortable so far away from home but thanks to Janu and his team I did! I have never experienced hospitality like this and I hope I can go back to India and see them all again! Such love!
The tour was perfectly organized, very diverse, and full of experiences. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken. I always felt safe with the driver Jeetu – he is not only very friendly but also an excellent driver. All the guides, especially Suria in Jaipur, shared a lot about India's culture and history with me. It was incredibly interesting. Highly recommended!
we booked a full week service with Janu tour. Car driver, guide and visit several sites. With Zaheer, we were taken care of and guided with kindness, warmth and a very professional way. He was at the same time the driver, the advisor, the photographer and the one who cared about our safety and our well-being throughout the trip and the service. A very strong mention to Zaheer for his availability and professionalism. We recommend Janu Tower to all our friends and relatives
Janu, Kamal and Jeetu know exactly how to advise and how to let us make our own plans. Collected from Agra train station to Coral House (real find by them), Taj, onto Ranthambore and then stayed at the Marigold in Jaipur and onto Dehli. Lots of personal support and Mr Jeetu is the best, patient guide and river. Great price. 4th time using them.
I had an absolutely amazing time with Janu Tours, more precisely with the driver Jaheer who took very good care, showed me beautiful places, introduced me to locals and traditions and helped very much so that I felt safe travelling alone in a country where a younger woman travelling alone could for sure sometimes be afraid. Starting in Dheli we headed to Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bundi and Ranthambore National Park and finished a spectacular journy in Agra with the Taj Mahal. I really really recommend not ony the itinarary, but the whole experience! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I took a 5-day Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi tour in April 2023. Janu tour arranged transportation for me with a driver named Naveen, an excellent driver and amazing person and guides in the various cities, all knowledgeable people who made my tour unforgettable. I recommend Janu Tour to anyone who wants to go on the same trip as me. I spent INR 42600 for the trip and guides, excluding Accommodation, Monument Entrance fees, Meal expenses und Driver & Guide's tips. The latter (the tips) will affect your final expense quite a bit, take them into account.
This was the best trip of my life! My best friend and I felt like royals being pampered every step of the way. Delicious foods, incredible guides, mind-blowing activities every day. I am not usually one to book guided trips but this went beyond my expectations and made me feel less intimidated thinking about getting around and knowing what to do for my first trip to India. Janu will tailor the trip to include the things you want the most, so don’t hesitate to book any trip with Janu, he will make your India trip one to remember forever!
Wow!! These guys worked their butts off to show our family (kids 5 & 7) an absolutely incredible time for our visit to India. We quizzed Janu A TON before we booked with him because traveling anywhere (and especially a place where we don’t speak the language or know appropriate customs) with two young, active kids is no small feat. He assured us that we would be well taken care of and that our kids would be safe- Janu and his staff delivered and exceeded our expectations. We had two different drivers (Jeetu and Naveen) for different legs of our trip and both were wonderful, kind, informative, and made us feel safe. They each got to know our specific family rhythm and helped us plan for tired kids at the end of our days. These guys weren’t just drivers, they became members of our family for the time they were with us. Our kids were excited to greet them each morning, hang out with them during the day, and share fist bumps, high fives, or a hug at the end of the day. We had a unique problem to solve of purchasing all of our traditional Indian wedding clothes for a wedding we were attending half way through the trip. Jeeetu took us to the perfect places to find exactly what we needed (4 outfits each!)- clothing, shoes, and jewelry. We did the clothing the day we got there and they tailored everything to drop off at our hotel the next day. At one point he made a phone call to his sister to ask her if she thought the price was fair. Wow!! The wedding was amazing and we felt incredible being there with the clothing Jeetu helped us find. The bride and groom were touched that we made the effort and we felt so glamorous in the gorgeous clothes. For the second half of the trip we had Naveen. He is so kind and open-hearted. He shared tons of information about Indian culture and answered questions about Hinduism for us. We became fast friends and he invited us to meet his family at his home when we passed through his town. That was such an intimate, genuine expression of friendship- we were touched to be invited into his home and share tea with him and his family. We looked forward to the time spent on long drives as there was always something interesting to learn among the quiet moments. …and then there is the leader of them all- Janu. This guy is one of a kind. He built up his business one step at a time- making friends and connections as he went. It’s easy to see why he has so many friends- he is charismatic and so kind. Not only to his guests, but his staff all talk about how he is the KINDEST boss- that means something in this world. We stayed at his gorgeous homestay in Jaipur (The Marigold Inn) and he welcomed us with open arms. He spent time on the rooftop garden/dining area with us and introduced us to his kite flying nephew. Our kids were fascinated- he noticed and made sure we had kites to fly in the desert. Naveen made time to show us the ins and outs of flying a kite with the smallest breeze when we got to the desert. Between that, the tuk tuk driving lessons for our kids, and the various check-in calls to them- they decided that they were going to stay in India and work with Janu. 🤣 Also, EVERYONE knows Janu. Everyone. At one point during our trip our kids had passed out and we needed to put them to bed. Dinner at the desert camp had not been served yet, but we didn’t want to leave them in the tent alone. Naveen had asked the staff at the camp if we could have dinner in the tent and they refused. We were prepared to skip it that night. He put in a call to Janu and all of a sudden they were happy to bring us dinner in the tent- which they apparently never do. This company cares about its guests and will take the best care of you.
We travelled in October, to Rajasthan for a family vacation .We had booked our driver and individual guides for each attraction through JANU PRIVATE TOURS and had on the whole an excellent experience. They helped us in booking hotels as well. Since it was our first trip to Rajasthan with my child I contacted a lot of travel agencies.Of them I liked the attitude of Mr.Janu and his team member Mr.Kamal .At the end of our trip we met Janu the owner of the company. He is a very nice person and even we had great time together. As we were covering quite some distance by car , we spent a lot of time with our driver,Mr. AYUB KHAN, and he is one gem of a person . He was very professional ,had good driving, but beyond that he is good-natured, helpful and understanding, always on hand to make our trip as easy, comfortable and fun as possible. He ensured that all the itinerary I had set was finished comfortably Despite language differences we built a great friendship. We had an unforgettable time on our trip and can't thank everyone enough for organising it all.
I have visited Jaipur 3 times and always arrange a 5 days private tour with Janu. He is the best for sure, with his help we always explore Jaipur, Agra and Delhi fully including shopping. You will inmmediatly drawn by his contagious positive. Also the drivers and guides are amazing. They're the best company and people in India you will have the most amazing and memorable experience with Janu Private Tour! By the way, do not forget having fun in elephants villages!!
If you want to have an amazing experience of Rajasthan/Jaipur area you must book with Janu tour company. They have individualized service that goes wayyyy beyond anyone else we have ever used. The personal touch and time that Shabir the owner gave us was beyond price. You can’t buy that. Our Driver Zahair was a true professional and the ride first rate. They asked us where we wanted to go and hooked us up with local travel guides in each city we went to, they gave us history, back street local experience with food and local culture. They showed us places where even the locals do not know about and all the secret places were shown. Most of all they treated us like family. Please do yourself a favor and book your Rajasthan tour with them.
Thank you, Jaheer, for the nice tour. We spent 5 days touring from Delhi via Agra to Jaipur. Jaheer is an exceptional driver in the crazy Indian traffic. Always calm, friendly and very punctual. He was always happy to accommodate our wishes.
It was my first time in India and Janu Tours did a great job to help us with our planned tour. Janu tours made took care of us up to the last day of trip, making sure that we are comfortable and always okay. I'm with my long distance partner on this trip and you guys made it very memorable for the two of us. Especially our tour driver "HAN" he is such a very wonderful person, hopefully i'll get to see you whenever i am in India. I will recommend you with all my friends who wants to travel there. Very Recommendable!
It could not be better. Program: All highlights. Car: Tidy, comfortable. Driver: Polite, friendly, and competent. Price: Fair.
Easy to contact and to organise the trip, not expensive, reliable, not boring with advance payment and other unfriendly conditions. I really recommend this company and confirm all the best comments that you can read on TripAdvisor. Our driver, M. Diwakar, was very helpful, safely driving (OK was Indian style, but we never feel in danger), never say no and was always smiling even in the terrible road traffic. Choosing Janu tour was a brilliant idea and if needed we will use them again.
Janu Tours were very helpful in the planning our tour of old Delhi, Agra Fort, Taj Mahal, and sights around Jaipur. Our very experienced and punctual driver, Shakir, served us very well, taking us to places that interested us, while making sure we made good choices. We come away from the tour with a greater and positive appreciation of the culture, history, cuisine, art, architecture, and lifestyle of India. Thank you Janu Tours. John M
It was our first trip to India. Me and my wife. We would definitely recommended the Janu Private Tours. It was the best thing that happened to us in India and they really helped us to have an incredible experience. Nadeem Khan was our designated driver and we don't have enough words to express how excellent he was. Highly professional and he was able to provide all the valuable information on sightseeing as well shopping recommendations. Always very kind and dedicated. Janu is an awesome entrepreneur. In Jaipur we were invited to met him and his team and we were delighted about their kindness, but also their expectations to grow up even more their business. In that day, Janu invited us to dinner with him and it was simply great. Thank you so much Janu, Nadeem and all the team in Janu Private Tours. For sure we will come back and want to be with you again!!
The service was very good. There are some cultural aspects that must be taken into account, mainly referred to the tips. In India the tips are usually argued asking for more money. That was not easy for us. Another aspect is that some visits to stores decided by drivers or guides were to long and expensive. But that was part of our first experience in India. Janu tours are the best, Janu is a gentle guy and we are very happy with their service. We keep wonderful memories of our trip, and we are wondering to visit India again
When we decided to go to India we tried to contact several agencies but only Janu tours had the patience and perseverance to respond to so many queries and changes we wanted to make to our itinerary. Then mr. Nadeem came to pick us up at the hotel and we had 5 incredible days doing Agra, Fatephur Sikri, Jaipur, and Delhi. Along the trip we also had great tour guides arranged by Nadeem to explain all the history behind the monument. We recommend not only Janu tours but the driver and guides who accompanied us to anyone interested in having an immersive experience in India, and also feel the warmth of the local people. Thank you Janu Tours and team
I used Janu private tour services for a vacation to Rajasthan. Nadeem picked us up from Delhi airport and we spent 7 days in Rajasthan traveling through different cities. Nadeem was very friendly and knowledgeable. The condition of the car was very good. Very professional people and felt extremely safe with them. Also at the last moment, we had a change of plan and they accommodated those changes. Thank you for making the trip stress free and memorable.
Janu organised a driver called Nadeem to pick us up from Jaipur taking us firstly to Ranthambore safari park for 2 days and then on to Agra and the Taj, finally driving us to Delhi station. Nadeem was friendly, professional, punctual, reliable and much more. during our trip he became more like an older brother looking out for us while helping with all the logistics of travelling. I recommend anyone considering travelling to India to contact Janu as his knowledge will help you make informed decisions when planning your itinerary.
My Daughter and myself had a tour organised with India Someday for a 12 day trip. For our Delhi, Agra and Jaipur leg that teamed up with Janu Private Tours to look after us. Personally I have travelled throughout India many times over a 11 year period and was expecting a great time, but was waiting for something to go wrong. BUT absolutely everything went according to the plan. Our Driver , Rakesh Agrawal was a blessing. Always on time, spoke wonderful English, was totally knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip and as a bonus was and is a pleasant and fun person to spend time with. Cannot recommend Rakesh enough. Keep up the great work and hope to see you again in the not too distant future. Cheers
I am coming for business already 20 years to India and visited this fantastic country already 50 times. Now I wanted to show my family (my wife and 2 teenager) some of the ceauty of this country. I found Janu Tours from Tripadviser. As we had only limited time we decided for the 4 nights Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi tour. Jaheer Khan picked us up punctually at the Airport at midnight and drove us directly to Agra. After a quick rest and breakfast he introduced us to the local guide and there so we spent the next 2 days visiting the great places including Taj Mahal. After that we drove towards Jaipur - with a stop over on the road (Fatehpur Sikri as well as Abhaneri Chand Baori (stepwell) - were we spent 2 nights and visited Amber Fort, the observatory Hawa Mahal, Monkey Temple, etc.). Finally we drove back to Delhi with one overnight and visiting old Delhi as well as Gandhi places). Jaheer was all the time a great and punctual Driver. He always had good side-information when we were not acompaigned by a local guide. We all were completly satisfied from the service, support and friendship that we strongly recommend this organisation. Thank you very much we all had a great time.
If you’re planning a trip to Jaipur (or anywhere else in India, for that matter), be sure to contact Janu Private Tours first. Janu helped us with drivers and guides, accommodations, trains and airline tickets for a visit to Jaipur, Agra, and Delhi. Janu is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He treats you as a friend and not just as a customer. Has a great smile and sense of humor, and his English, and several other languages, are excellent. Janu accommodated our ideas and suggested some off-the-beaten-track surprises. He goes out of the way to exceed expectations. The guides and drivers he arranged were excellent. We found they respect his integrity and fair treatment, which speaks well of him as a business owner. Our driver in Delhi, Lalan Tiwari, picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and train station at all hours and took us around Old Delhi and other locations in the city. He is a knowledgeable and careful driver and a genuinely nice person. Our guide in Jaipur, Kumar, has extensive knowledge of and a real feel for the city’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage. He gave us an excellent tour of the Amber Fort, the Jantar Mantar, and city palace, but it was on a walking tour of the Pink City where he really shined. We had the opportunity to get a great introduction to the various neighborhoods, markets and crafts, visiting a wide variety of craftsmen and women. We saw a number demonstrating their crafts, but without pressure to buy. We also sampled a variety of local food specialties. A treat to end one day was a visit to a place we could overlook the city at sunset. There was a gaggle of monkeys there that were fun to watch and feed peanuts to guided by a young man who does all he can to to oversee to their welfare. It provided an opportunity to engage these lively creatures, since we ran out of time to visit the Galta Ji to the east of Jaipur . We also had a good guide in Agra, Farid. His tour of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah was excellent and his timing to get the best views and smallest crowds was appreciated. My wife and I are experienced travelers, and have sampled the beauty, perplexity, and joy of many places. In planning our trip to India, however, we had the good sense to realize we should seek some expert assistance to do any justice to such a vast land in the short time we had. Janu shared with us the best of India’s historic past, its rapidly changing present, and a glimpse of its very promising future as seen through the eyes of its many talented, charming, and enthusiastic new generation of entrepreneurs such as Janu. Please, do yourself a favor, and without hesitation, contact and engage the services of this terrific young company.
The driver-Naveen is pretty good. He drove safe. By the way we don't like to travel with guide from agra. The guide took us to the shop that we don't need to go.
Our journey with Janu Travel – the Golden Triangle Tour in India – was simply extraordinary from start to finish and will be remembered forever. A special thanks goes to our driver Sunil. He was incredibly nice, warm, always accommodating and made us feel safe and relaxed at all times. His car “Sonya” was always clean, comfortable and a second home on this trip. With his calm manner, smile and helpfulness, Sunil played a key role in making us feel comfortable in India at all times. Another absolute highlight was the personal invitation to dinner by Janu himself. This gesture was not only exceptionally warm, but also gave us a very authentic and personal insight into Indian culture – a moment that shows how much passion and genuine hospitality is in this company. Our guides were first class: In Agra Mehraj impressed us – a perfect host, extremely attentive and also a fantastic photographer who surprised us with beautiful souvenir photos. In Jaipur, Surya impressed us with his incredible knowledge and deep historical background. His explanations were exciting, understandable and really brought the places to life. This trip was perfectly organized, personal, warm and professional at the same time. Janu Travel exceeded our expectations in every respect. We can fully recommend this agency and would travel with them again at any time. Thank you for this unforgettable experience! 🇮🇳✨
The tour was perfectly organized, very diverse and full of experiences. It was one of the best Trips I have ever made. With the driver Jeetu I felt safe at all times – he is not only very personable, but also an excellent driver. All the guides, especially Suria in Jaipur, told me a lot about the culture and history of India. It was extremely interesting. Highly recommended!
Thanks to them the experience in India was excellent. They treated us as if we were at home and helped us with everything we needed. The car was large and comfortable and we were constantly served cold water. An excellent option if you want to get to know India in a short time. The accommodation in Jaipur (Marigold inn homestay) very clean and with a lovely terrace
At first my boyfriend and I were a bit afraid to travel around India, but with Janu Private Tours we were immediately put at ease. Janu mapped out an interesting eleven-day itinerary for us and we felt that our wishes were being listened to. We travelled comfortably through India with a loyal driver, Noordeen, by our side. He met us every morning with a wide smile, a clean car, fresh drinks and tasty snacks. We gained a broad knowledge about the different places we visited along the way thanks to the fine guides who accompanied us. In short, we had a nice experience here, highly recommended! Hope to see you next time! Denis & Nathalie from Belgium
The experience with Janu, from start to finish was incredible: 1) The price was perfect and according to the services you contract (all inclusive- accommodation, transportation and guided tours), however, many elements were included free of charge that were not agreed in the tour, which brings us to point 2. 2) The Service goes beyond what was agreed. Janu and her team do their best to make your stay perfect and customize the trip according to what you are looking for or what you like. For example, I commented that I loved cooking and Janu taught me one night to cook the typical curry that we later tasted, as well as inviting me to the typical lassi they do in the city every morning (which I told him I liked). Another example: I told him that I really liked animals and I took myself to an (additional free) "Elephantastic" activity that was one of the best experiences of my life. Janu seeks your well-being and worries about how she can make you better. 3) Transportation Service is amazing. My driver was Jaheer, the BEST DRIVER I'VE EVER HAD. Always attentive to my needs, if I was hungry I bought typical food (at no extra cost), I always wondered how the tour had gone and let me play the music. An amazing person and a pleasure to be with. Needless to say, the impeccable car. 4) The guides are super prepared and solve all your doubts and questions. Specifically I want to mention Vikram in Agra, the most passionate tour guide for his work I have seen; and Ali in Fathepur, super nice and helpful. 5) The chosen hotels all clean, in good area, and with very helpful staff. Finally a word about Janu, whom I already consider a friend as well as a guide. He is an exceptional person, who you can trust (which is to be appreciated in a country like this), at all times you feel his passion to make your trip the best experience of your life. He is a very cheerful and laughing person and loves to help others (often you see him helping the street poor); he also knows everyone and anything you ask for will always take you to the best place and help you get the best price. I would repeat 100% and I just want to be able to return to India to repeat the experience.
I rarely give top marks but Janu's organization deserves them. Very good in everything, helpful, attentive, great price. Perfect organization. Really good. A big THANK YOU to AYUB....the best driver in India. And thanks to Janu for the pleasant aperitif n terrace....
