Anmol choubey was a fantastic guide. He took me around several temples and explained the religion and history in great detail. I was travelling solo but found it very safe to travel with Anmol and our driver.

Learn about the history of the temple, where your guide will brief you. You will stay here for around 20 minutes. The next drive is to Bangla Sahib Sikh Temple, near the Hanuman Temple.
Learn about the history of the Sikh religion and visit the kitchen section to see how food is prepared for the masses. You will stay here for 40 Minutes.
After that, you will go to the Laxmi Narayan Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Laxmi. Learn about the Hindu religion and customs in different parts of the world. Your guide will also tell you about this place during the 35 minutes at this place.
Next, we will visit the Iskcon Temple, known as the Vaishnav Temple of Lord Krishna and Radharani, represented as Radha Parthasarathi.
Afterward, you will drive to the Lotus Temple, also known as the Baha'i House of Worship, which is truly unique. Take some time to visit the prayer hall and worship in your own way, appreciating the beautiful marble and architectural design of the temple. You will spend about 30 minutes here. Following your visit, you'll be ready to head out for lunch (at your own expense). Your final destination will be the Akshardham Temple, where architects have achieved incredible levels of artistry, bringing each piece of stone to life through intricate carvings.
The Akshardham Temple was officially opened in 2005 by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. You will stay at Akshardham temple for about one hour. Your tour then ends with the drop-off at the hotel.

Aman did a great tour. The first two temples were absolutely fascinating and he did a good job of explaining. I was expecting just to see temples but he took me to a co-op market which was the best shopping that I have seen in Indian in quality, variety and price. A very pleasant surprise.
Shailly was a great tour guide who gave very thorough explanations of each site we visited. She was able to answer all of our questions well and very clearly had a deep understanding of the subjects.
Shaily did a wonderful job explaining each temple we went to and gave us an overview of Hinduism. There is a lot to understand and she was great at answering all of our questions
Kavya was an exceptional host with his knowledgeable and understanding of the local area being superb! His hospitality was exceptional and I cannot recommend him enough. The driver also picked us up in New Delhi and took us both to and from Old Delhi as part of the tour and he was equally a top notch driver with air conditioning provided in the car as well. 10/10 experience!
A food tour in old and New Delhi! Fantastic safe places to eat and try local cuisine. Kavya was a great guide and customized the tastings for me and what I wanted to try! 5 stars! Be ready to deal with crowds!
The guide was very knowledgeably in his information. He was helpful and concerned about our health. He was flexible- thanks to Kavya for the tour Regards Jesper’s
The wives was amazing and we took many pictures. Kavwa was so good and knowledgeable and took so good care of us. Love from Regine from Denmark
Had a pleasant half day with female guide Pallavi. She was knowledgeable about her country and its religions. She could place well the info into the Indian context. Also shared a glimpse into daily lives of local families on the background on religious holidays.
The tour was great and Shaily was an excellent guide and highly knowledgeable about all the temples and different religions, highly recommended
Aman is só good! We Love our expirience em New Delhi. He tell us about the religion a d the cultura . We like só much ………………….
Our guide - Satish was marvelous. We learned a lot about the culture & religions. And he adapted our agenda so that we could incorporate elements that were of particular interest to us.
Not sure if all of these reviews of this tour are honest or legit - some describe food tours and Gandhi etc, not temples. Didn't get off to a good start when the "guide" arrived at the busy hotel lobby and it took some time to find him because he didn't have any signs. Turned out that it was just the "guide" and the driver and I. Was hoping it would be a small group. The car was quite an old Suzuki Maruti but luckily I had the back seat to myself. The "guide" seemed to struggle with English and didn't say very much and wasn't able to answer questions easily. Which is why I got the sense that he wasn't really an experienced guide. But they were both nice guys so the real problem is with this company and the hiring and training (so the 2* is for the company). They also seemed very confused about the tour destinations (clearly not told by the company) and we arrived at Iskcon temple so late that they were closed for cleaning. He was also coughing a lot and I was concerned that if he was sick , or had Covid or flu, it would mess up the next 2 weeks of touring. Not his fault but stressful in a small vehicle. The order of visits was totally different from the description too. Please be careful if you plan to book this tour.
So.. 8am booking. Got picked up 15 minutes late. Assumed would be a group but just me. 5 hours, 5 temples, £25. We went to the first temple where we met the guide. Excellent stories, who cared if a few did not add up once I went to Wikipedia later Both he and the driver were great. Brought my bottled water and did not need food but had some in my bag. Felt safe and informed, all in all a great full morning. Would recommend it to all for a great value, beautiful and informative trip. Go early to avoid as much traffic as possible. Taj Mahal and Agra next.
Excellent tour with Karan around Old Delhi. Lots to see, great rickshaw driver and lovely car driver too. Recommend highly.
A lovely survey of Delhi’s diverse religions and their distinctive practices and architecture. Rahul was so thorough and tailored the itinerary and dialogue to my interests. It was amazing to get to witness so much beauty in one day, and I finally am grasping at least the basic framework of the Hindu gods thanks to Rahul’s tutelage. Will heartily recommend Rahul and this tour to my traveling friends!
Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful! He made a special effort to really hone in on what we wanted to see and also show us the ‘real India’ of the culture, the arts, and the good. We had our five year old daughter with us and he was so patient and kind with her on what was a long day. I would highly recommend this tour as w way to see what you are most interested in and truly get a flavor for Dehli in a way that is enriching and captivating.
We had a bit of a mixup and couldn’t find our guide at starting time, but our guide was very patient. Was nice to have a private tour of the temples. The tour was very informative and never felt rushed.
Decent-ish tour. Guide was 20mins late but not a big deal. The whole of the tour was: we visited the old mosque in Delhi, got a chai and had quick stop at an (expensive) spice market. Tour guide seemed relatively well informed but didn't have alot to tell us without being asked. Tuktuk price wasn't included so had to guess how much to give. Pick-up from hotel was punctual and driver was very nice.
Well organized trip from pick up at hotel through meeting the friendly guide. The level of information given was just right, not too much but enough and as much as was needed
So much good food and interesting facts, felt safe through thw whole tour, and tasted some amazing things, thank you Nikhel!
Nikhil was an amazing tour guide. He showed us all of the historic food sites, and our stomachs are happy and full! Perfect first evening in Delhi!
Company and Guide Dashrath was a wonderful guide and I got to see so much more of Delhi than I would have seen by myself! So great!
Very interesting and informative tour. The 4 temples were very different from each other and all beautiful. It’s a shame you can’t take photos inside. Indi and our driver were very patient and friendly. We had a little issues connecting before the tour figuring out where to meet but we ultimately got connected and began the great tour.
Lovely tour in comfortable small SUV. The temples are soactacukar and guides knowledge was good, though his English was a little hard to understand. But he also spoke Soanish, so we used that too.
The tour guide, as well as the driver, were very accommodating considering we were travelling with a small child. The Akshardham temple has very elaborate marble works. A must-see. Be prepared to remove your shoes in these places of worship, and in most of them, you cannot take photos.
Niekhl, our guide, was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour was also great. The temples were amazing. Would recommend 100%!
Had a nice tour with guide Nikhil on a busy Sunday afternoon to some Delhi temples. He knows a lot about the temples and the history, I really enjoyed it. The driver picked me up on time at my hotel. I would recommend to not visit the temples on the weekend since it is very busy (many locals), try to go Tuesday-Friday if possible.
Great tour, you will visit 5 major temples in Delhi. The detailed explanations give you good insights into Hindu and Sikh religious beliefs.
This tour could have been much better if both guide and driver had the enthusiasm to present/discuss temple history and importance in Delhi - having now done a number of tours this one I would strongly suggest to other to not consider. The tour was not well planned and we only via two temples both architecturally superb, but most admit we declined the lotus temple as we had already seen it. We asked to see a Sikh gurdwara but this did not materialise. The guide suggested seeing the mina qutab but stated it was too late to see that. This tour lasted about 2.5 hours. The guide, Sumit, as stated did not have the spirit or interest in engaging positively with my wife and I.
Excellent tour for somebody who wants to learn about Indian religions. I highly recommend Mano as a tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and tries to focus on your interest.
Our guide was very knowledgable and helpful with all our questions. The pace was appropriate and we enjoyed her personality. We would recommend our guide to other clients.
The most wonderful tour experience with Isha. She is amazingly knowledgeable about the history, religious significance and culture of Delhi. We had the best day in Delhi! I highly recommend this tour. Ashok was an great driver and very accomodating.
Isha is great and educated guide. It’s realxed and generous with time. Still, price of the tour, is a bit high for the half day tour, I find.
The whole experience was awesome. The timing was punctual. The brilliantly knowledgeable guide, Isha was very helpful. She was very friendly as well. It only took her a second to break the ice. Will definitely recommend this to family & friends.
Very unique experience! Would recommend seeing this sight. Our guide was very helpful and knew her stuff!
The trip was great and very informative! The water show was well worth it. Good to get a guide as it gets very busy
She is awesome. Have very good knowledge of history and the places. We have a wonderful day. We recommend her.
Isha has been really knowledgeable and fun. Her tour of Humayuns tomb and Gurudwara Temple was very fascinating, with all the explanations and the history behind those beautiful monuments. She was also very kind on taking me lots of picture, especially some cool ones from perspectives I could have never done on my own. Great experience overall, recommended for everyone visiting Delhi. The driver Santos made the journey very pleasant and comfortable. Thank you both!
Guide was great and explained things well. Made sure I was able to see the things I wanted. Driver was always ready to go and always made sure everything was going well.
Loved thus trip. You will a great variety of temples and gain a great understanding of the history and significance of each of them. My only suggestion for improvement is to maybe visit a Buddhist temple as alternative.
Absolutely loved this tour! We were well taken care of and went to so many different temples around Delhi. Would recommend booking this if you want a day tour with a knowledgeable tour guide.
Our tour guide Rajendra was the most knowledgeable tour guide I’ve had in all my years of traveling. No nonsense, just wonderful history, excellent context for these sites, and able to answer any questions we had. Extremely enjoyable and would absolutely recommend to any friend or relative traveling to Delhi. 10/10!
Fantastic day with the best quide in Delhi, Mona! He knows everything and nothing is to much for him.
Sunil was my guide. It was so much fun to hangout with him during one day in Delhi. The first Sikh temple was very real and charming . The 3rd Lakshmi Narayan was magnificent!!! I didn’t like the 4th cold temple Lotus with marble benches , definitely not for cold weather to be there . Plus it looks like simply a tourist attraction for architectural purposes. The 5th temple Swaminarayan was unbelievably powerful in strong mandala crafting , Peackok postures and other delicate details and sculptures . Plus a red sunset over it and smog was a beautiful moment to send our Bhakti for gratitude.
I am Michelle and me and my partner recently went for Half Day Temple tour in Delhi. We were picked up by our Trip Leader Suraj which happens to be the most courteous and amazing trip leader we have ever come across. He was so profound with the architectural knowledge and history and briefed us at every point. We highly recommend the tour with his Company "Go City Adventures" and with the leader Suraj. On our next trip to India we will come with rest of the Family Members and will book other services with Go City Adventures and would love Suraj to show us around..
This was an amazing tour and wonderful experience. The temples were beautiful, sacred and busy. It is amazing to see and understand how strong and persons are in the practice of there faith. Especially when I contrast with Christianity where we primarily and periodically go once a week to church. I saw a Jain temple where an individual rings a bell to God when the enter and leave. The temples were beautiful to see. What I enjoyed the most was that it was immersive into the faith if only for a brief momment. Kanika was my tour guide and she was very knowledgeable about the faith, the history and practice. You may think boring, but it was not. Each temple and faith has it's own unique characteristic. The highlight was the Akshardham Hindu temple. It was both beautiful and experiential. I saw people lie prostrate on the floor. The Seikh temple feed the homeless or whomever needs a meal and you can go into the kitchen and see behind the scenes. Lotus temple was very peaceful and allowed time for relection. About the tour logistics, I was picked up at my hotel. The tour company is easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had. I had samosa chast for lunch at Akshardham and it was delicious. Kanika had a special treat to the tour and took me to this hidden gem, called the stairwell. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and would highly recommend. It is a personalized experience for you in an A/C car. There is no additional cost on the tour except to tip the driver and guide. The driver waits for you, so again it is like a private tour. Just to note: All temples will require you to remove your shoes. Only the Seikh Gurudwara also required your head be covered. This was the one temple that you can take pictures inside.
I had the most amazing day with my guide Mona and driver Santosh visiting 4 of Delhi’s remarkable temples. Mona was so knowledgeable and passionate in the way he described the history and significance of these incredible landmarks. I learned so much. Mona went out of his way to make sure I got the most out of this tour. The highlight was the soup kitchen at the Sikh temple that serves 50,000 free meals per day - it was wonderful to see the volunteers working together doing the cooking. The Hindu Temple was also awesome. I highly recommend this tour and this guide.
We visited India in January 2019 (3 Aussies).Deepak and his driver picked us up from our hotel at 9am and took us to more than 4 temples on this half day tour! Deepak was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city! Nothing was too much trouble - he even extended our tour by taking us on the Ghandi experience for an hour upon our request. Deepak is an excellent tour guide and we could not recommend him enough. Thank you Deepak (and driver - we didn't get your name?!). We were so short on time on our extra day in India and you did not disappoint! We highly recommend this tour with Deepak.
I am a 72-year-old American male visiting India solo. Go City Tours provided me with a guide and driver. My guide, Mona, was outstanding. He informed me that he had just graduated first in his class from New Delhi University. Mona escorted me on a six hour tour of the main temples in New Delhi - it was an extremely interesting tour to say the least. I would recommend Go City Tours, New Delhi to anyone.
