Gandhi Delhi Private History Adventure Tour

A very enjoyable experience. Neha was friendly and informative. I enjoyed the experience with her.

Because I had read Gandhi's autobiography and seen the film, I was able to appreciate so much more of this day! There are so many photos, artwork, historical items, etc. for view. The museums have state of the art tech displays I hadn't seen before. You visit two museums, see where he was assassinated, and see where he was cremated and there is an eternal flame in the park for him. This was a great way to add to my city tours of the main sites already. My Intrepid guide was very easy to understand (English) and communicated ahead of time via WhatsApp. We met at the Park Hotel--just an fyi the restaurant there is super expensive $30/lunch so don't make my mistake and go early to eat first!

We had a really good afternoon viewing some of the sites assosiated with ghandhi in Delhi. Although of course parts of it are quite sad given the context, it was really worthwhile

We had a tour with Joe (Jeswin Joseph) . Started with a pick up from hotel and Joe was on time and friendly . We then had a taxi ride to the start of the tour and felt very safe with the considerate driving . We visited 2 Ghandi sites ( one was closed due to a visiting dignitary) Joe was full of information and facts and answered all our questions . He also gave us lots of useful tips about the city . Recommended day out

Neha and driver, Santos, are fabulous. Neha is an extraordinary guide. She has a wealth of knowledge that she is eager to share. This together with her warm, engaging and curious personality makes for an unusually good experience. She has a way of giving information, answering questions and building in solo contemplative time making for a well balanced experience that is interesting and not overwhelming. Additionally, her English is excellent. She is very easy to understand and clearly is comfortable conversing in English.

We really enjoyed the Ghandi tour with Neha and learned so much valuable information. The museum was my favourite. I enjoyed all three sites that we visited. It was actually quite emotional at times being faced with the reality of Ghandi’s life. The whole experience was very moving.Neha’s passion and knowledge while sharing a lot of information was amazing. We appreciate her personal approach and sensitivity also.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour which we booked through our Intrepid tour guide - we had a day to fill in before flying home to Australia. Our group of 6 were well looked after while the tour timings and sites visited suited us very well. Would definitely recommend, especially for visitors with an interest in Indian politics and history.

Olivia was a great guide with great local knowledge and very friendly. The drivers were also great navigating the Delhi traffic. There is a lot to see, look at and read on the tour. Highly recommend.

Aakesh our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were a group of 6 Australians and he answered all of our questions (we had a lot to ask as we are all fascinated with Ghandi). We learned a lot from this tour. Not particularly physical. As with any where always bring your bottle of water. Highly recommend the guide Aakesh and the tour.

Fantastic tour of New Delhi, really too much to take in. Highly recommend. From the crazy busy traffic to the peaceful temples and gardens all guided with great knowledge by our Intrepid Guide, it has to be experienced.

This was a very informative tour to learn more about Ghandi’s life and work. I ended up with a private tour as no one else had signed up (Christmas eve). We visited 3 different locations, and although some of the information repeated, it was not tedious. I was pleasantly surprised by the small art gallery featuring some wonderful multimedia portraits.

This tour was very interesting - I think I know too much about Gandhi now! Our guide Neha was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly during our tour; she was a great conversationalist and very helpful and informative.

Neha was a delightful guide for our tour of 3 sites connected with Mahatma Gandhi. She answered all our questions about Gandhi and about life in India with interesting insights. She gracefully navigated our travel through bustling Delhi with our skilled driver.

Nehu was a terrific guide for our tour. Knowledgeable and friendly and very aware of our needs. She added local information and tidbits which made this tour special. An excellent insight into this era of Indian history.

The tour was pretty comprehensive in terms of Gandhi's experience in Delhi and we visited some of the very important spots including the home where he lived, the place of his assassination, and where he was cremated. The exhibits at each place were really quite good. Neha, the guide, was very knowledgeable, and very patient in answering the many questions that I had throughout the day. She really made it a special visit.

The Gandhi Monument and the Museum were both closed due to Putin’s visit, but Birla House made up for that….it was excellent. It was a “museum” in itself set in lovely grounds. Lodhi Gardens was a lovely surprise also, as was the street art in Lodhi Colony.

Great day we learnt a lot about Ghandi and the food tour afterwards was excellent our tour leader was very knowledgeable and explained very well without over doing it.

Neha, was my guide for this trip today She was very friendly, very knowledgeable and very professional. She took me to Gandhi Smriti to Gandhi Museum and to the Memorial Park where Gandhi cremation took place. She had a waste amount of knowledge of Indian history and of the time when the Partion took place. I was very impressed by her guiding skills too. She also helped me to get some snacks to eat as I took this trip almost straight after arriving at the hotel from the airport . I could recommend Neha anytime to anyone She is a dedicated guide

The tranquility of the Museums set in beautiful green spaces. An oasis in a busy, crowded city . Gandhi’s house was well curated and a reminder of the power of Gandhi’s words and deeds. Yudi was informative, ensured I got what I wanted out of the tour and was good company as well. Definitely needs a guide as the locations were dispersed.

I booked the ghandi history private tour for half a day prior to going to the airport. My guide was Neha she was brilliant and easy to chat to . We discussed many topics about Indian culture ad she was very interesting about her own life as a professional woman. I really rated her and she was very knowledgeable

We were fortunate enough to combine the Red Fort Tour and the Gandhi. Our tour guide Yudi was very helpful and well informed. Making the tour very interesting and teaching us all about the different aspects of Indigenous an its history and the ways of current day life.

This is a wonderful tour of the last place Gandhi live and also where he was killed. This is a wonderful memorial to one of the most influential people in modern history. We learned so much more by visiting in person than we could ever know from reading about his life. We also visited the Gandhi museum and also the memorial park where Gandhi was cremated. Highly recommend this tour with intrepid and our guide Yudhister Singh Rathore who was so nice and incredibly knowledgeable.

Aakash was the most amazing tour guide. He obviously has great pride in his city and that shone through in his time with us. He was knowledgeable about the city’s history and was happy to share it all with us. He advised us on safety and protocol. He told us about local customs and he guided us through the streets safely whether we were on foot or facing the challenging traffic. Definitely a must to do

This was a very interesting 3 hour tour. Our guide, KV was knowledgeable and explained a lot about Ghandi and social and political issues in India.

KV had organised an air conditioned taxi to take us to three Ghandi sites. He gave us background and guided us around the sites - many of which were museum exhibits. KV was an excellent guide.

The afternoon spent learning about Gandhi was an afternoon well spent. I left feeling like I’d learnt some crucial information about Gandhi & visited some key sites and this was due to the engaging & informative guide Akash. Akash can’t do enough for you; from making sure you are hydrated and have access to facilities, to getting you to where you need to be. Just got done with my Gandhi history tour with KV and it was such an enjoyable experience that I wanted to leave a positive review immediately. As a history lover, I already knew a good amount about Gandhi, but I learned so much more in my three hours with KV. He was very knowledgeable and is a great conversationalist who keeps things interesting and relatable. I had many questions and he had the answers every time. At each stop KV was prepared with info that made things even more educational and informative. He was really excellent and so was the driver. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone who has a few hours in Delhi and wants to learn more about Gandhi and modern history. Thanks for the great time, KV!

The museums and places are amazing, but honestly you wouldn't need a guide there, since everything is explained and excellently documented in the museums. However, our guide Neha was very patient with our group and gave us good introductions. The logistics could be improved: a Driver IS much slower than the Metro at rush hours;)
