From Delhi: Private Car To Taj Mahal With Driver And Local Guide

The owner was very responsive. The driver was literally right on time on the dot. Out stay the walkable only and I requested for the driver if he can come to us at the hotel to walk with us going to the car since it was early in the morning, the driver went to us at the hotel and walk with us to the car. He was very nice for doing it, we really appreciated it. He was also a safe driver.i also requested if we can rent saree and the owner was so nice to take time to send me pictures of options to pick. We got to the owners shop and they made our experience wearing saree a very unforgettable. They went above and beyond for us by letting us wear bracelet and necklace, even earrings (but we don’t wear earrings) as well as putting jewel bindis at no extra cost. They did it to make our first time experience on high level. Even after returning, they let us kept the jewel bindis. We all loved our looked! They provided a tour guide in Agra and he was a knowledgeable tour guide, he even managed to made us skip the lines. Very kind tour guide. The owner was very kind and he was open to any ideas you want and he would try to make it happen for you. He made sure that we would experience everything that we wanted as much as possible. Everybody involved was great! They all made our India experience a wonderful time.

Magical experience! Great value for money. Pick up and drop off was easy. Easy to communicate directly with the tour company and get wonderful service. Got to see the Taj at sunrise and the guide made sure we got all the photos we wanted and even suggested more and was happy to take as many as we wished. The overnight stay we added in the 5 star hotel was absolutely stunning! Best way to break up the trip and get some luxury chill out time. Guide was very attentive and helpful, knowledgeable and very good at making sure we were taken to the front of the line. Timed our visit to the Taj and Agra Fort perfectly. Would recommend this tour highly. Snacks and water provided on the bus. Driver was very friendly and helpful.

My experience with "the majestic Agra" was one i will remember for a lifetime. I would love to come back again. I highly recommend using this tour as a way to see the attractions of Agra. You are meant with a very friendly driver, and an awesome tour guide who has awesome photo skills!!! The hotel is also filled with luxury!!!

Where do I start? From start to finish, the way the tour was done was incredibly professional and seamless. There was great communication beforehand, and the driver, Mahesh, easily found me at my Airbnb. The drive was smooth and comfortable and I was able to get another hour of sleep in the car after a long flight from the night before. After arriving in Agra, I met with my tour guide, Salman, who did an incredible job getting me through the crowds and taking incredible photos of me at every location. It truly was a zero stress day, and everything was taken care of by the tour guide so I could sit back and enjoy the beautiful sights. Salman knew an amazing amount about the history of the Taj and its construction, and even took me to a place where I was able to see how a demonstration of the craftsmanship that was used in the construction of the Taj Mahal's mosaics. I then stopped for lunch at an amazing cafe with a view of the Taj before heading back to Delhi. Overall an incredible experience that I won't forget. As a solo traveler, I was hesitant about booking a tour, but after experiencing it for myself, there is no other way I would've wanted to spend my day at the Taj. Special shoutout to Salman and Mahesh for their professionalism and warm welcomes.

Salman was a great guide and made me feel safe, protected and attended. He had great information and a great, relaxed demeanor. Shared excellent info and took great photos. Communication from the company in the lead-up to the tour was professional and efficient, even though I'd needed to book at the last minute.

Best way to go to the Taj Mahal if you don’t have a lot of time. Booking was easy, communication was great and everything worked as promised. If you are lucky you will get Sanjay as a driver and Salman as a tour guide. Sanjay drives through Delhi dense traffic a walk in the park and has the best Indian Music to make your drive relaxing. Salman, is very knowledgeable and experienced. Will be able to answer all your questions. They are both very friendly Agra Locals.

This was the best way to travel from Delhi to Agra AND have a tour guide at the Taj Mahal! The driver was great and had excellent knowledge of everything. I left all my belongings in the vehicle while I toured the city. The tour guide was amazing! He took charge and guided me through the guests to get the best views and photos. Did I say he also was my photographer!! I have the best photos of this visit because of him!! Highly suggested if you’re traveling solo or as a family. Tips not expected but highly earned!!

I went on a tour with this company as part of a large business group, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. We departed from New Delhi at 6 am, and the day ran smoothly overall. Our guide shared just the right amount of historical background, making the visit to Taj Mahal/Agra both interesting and enjoyable. The lunch stop was excellent. I was also impressed that the owner personally joined us to ensure everything went smoothly. The guide’s recommendation for professional photos at the Taj Mahal was absolutely worth it, and I really appreciated the follow up and extra care throughout the trip.

Superb experience with Harsh as our guide who made the whole day fun and light hearted with lots of interesting details about the Taj Mahal and its history and architecture, as well as about local artisans and their unique techniques. Our driver was also very friendly, punctual and efficient. Highly recommended tour.

We had a wonderful experience. We chose the sunrise package, driving from Delhi beginning at 3am and arriving at the Tak Mahal at 6am. We arrived in plenty of time to get through security and take photos before, during and after sunrise. Our guide was very informative and pleasant. He took great photos of us. The breakfast after the tours was great as well.

Excellent service meet us at the airport with a sign for our driver. Welcome us to the country even though we had a very late flight arrival had the same driver for the five days that we were in northern India arranged for other tours in southern India later in our visit to India Went above and beyond checked in with us throughout the course of the visit and when we had a flight cancellation last minute by the airline he was able to rebook us. Follow us all the way till we got to our connecting flight for home couldn't say enough good things about the man Would strongly recommend if you're going to India to use him All of the guides spoke excellent English had a wealth of knowledge about the history answered any questions were able to take any kind of minor detours to see things really tailored the trip to what we wanted to see.

Salman was an incredible guide for our time touring the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. He brought great energy and took amazing photos for us, and we especially appreciated the transparency on how to handle the many sellers. The local breakfast also felt very special, and something we wouldn’t have been able to know without a guide. Organising the tour was very easy and our driver and car were fantastic. Definitely worth doing the sunrise tour to beat the crowds. We can’t recommend enough.

Neeraj led an excellent tour of the Taj Mahal with nearly boundless knowledge of the Mughal empire and the artistry of the buildings. Lunch at BBQ spot was also excellent. Interesting art stores on the tour, with the usual sales pitch from the owners. Train was very quick, didn’t upgrade but probably would if I did it again. Eat and get coffee before the train as well, as it’s an early morning and takes a while for food service to start.

The driver and the tour guide were both fantastic. My driver was very communicative and made really friendly conversation on the long drive over. The tour guide gave a lot of knowledge and history about the Taj Mahal and the Fort and took some great pictures along the way. All the tickets, food, etc were taken care of for me. I didn't appreciate the locations they took me to after lunch. We went to three different locations (a rug store, a pottery store, and the owner's jewelry shop) where I was the only customer and being pressured into buying $400 items. It was very uncomfortable. It's still worth booking for the tour alone.

The whole experience was so much fun and educating. Our driver, Pravin, was super friendly and educated us along the way as we drove to Agra (about farmland we were passing, the roads, anything we were curious about). Once we got to Agra, it was raining so our tour guide, Nick, suggested we wait at Starbucks for a half hour and thank god we did! The overall tour was very customizable. My mom and I mainly did the Taj Mahal and did some shopping. We also met Sagar who run the tour company and everyone was super friendly. 100 out of 10 recommend!

My friends and I from Australia had an amazing experience with Majestic Agra Tours! The communication from Sagar from Majestic Agra Tours was great, we received a full itinerary of our tour ahead of time. We were picked up from our hotel in Delhi at an early time of our choosing, and we rode in a comfortable large vehicle on the way to Agra. It was a seamless to meat the guide once we arrived in Agra. The guide provided very insightful and interesting information throughout, and helped us take photos. We are so glad we picked this tour company. From the start these guys were so helpful. Always in communication and making sure everything was ok. The day started with this wonderful driver who picked us up promptly from our Airbnb. We had the whole AC car to ourself. The guide met us in Agra and was very helpful and knowledgeable. His English was very clear and conversation with him was easy and enjoyable. He steered us clear of pickpockets, etc. and the driver’s timing was perfect (we weren’t left waiting on the street in the heat). He took us to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Saw some real cool artist working with marble. The lunch which was included as part of the tour was delicious and had many assortments of veg and non-veg food. The driver dropped us back off to our Airbnb at really good time. It was a wonderful Day trip to Agra and I would definitely recommend this tour group to anyone who is looking to hire a tour for Agra. They are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. This was a once in a life-time experience. Their were not wrong when they said SUNRISE is the best time to take photos and see Taj Mahal and very little people were there (Insta photos opportunities were endless!!). Shout out to our tour guide Khalid Ali on educating us and being very helpful in answering our questions. Also, thank you for our driver Mr Kishore who made us feel safe, protected our luggage’s, and endured the long drive to and from Delhi airport. A big shout out to Sagar for staying in contact constantly before, during and after the trip. Me and my partner highly recommend!!

This was a very good value in comparison to arrangements with our Delhi hotel. Sagar was very responsive; he responded to my e-mail immediately and answered all questions I had prior to booking. Our driver, Mr. Kishore, was prompt and cordial. The car was very clean and the drive was good. Upon arrival in Agra, we met with our guide Mujeeb. He was very knowledgeable and made our visit so much easier, from procuring entry to taking photos and keeping us safe. He was very kind and considerate of my 1 yr.old granddaughter and was flexible with her schedule. The Taj Mahal is a wonder not to be missed!! The lunch at Bon Barbeque was very good; the starters were my favorite, absolutely awesome. Our return trip was safe and uneventful. I highly recommend Sagar's company for a Delhi to Agra day trip.

Firstly, we arrived at 13th March and I booked on 00:00 14th , in the morning 10am finally confirmed the trip and it was really fast and well organised trip. We had a great experience with our day tour with Majestic Agra Tours from Delhi. The day tour was arranged a few weeks in advance with Sagar, who answered all our questions promptly and accurately -- he was a pleasure to work with! Everything with the tour was just as promised. An on-time early pick up from our hotel in Delhi in a very comfortable car with a professional driver. We arrived in Agra to meet our tour guide. Jatin was a terrific guide and let us visit the sites at our own pace, explaining everything with the correct level of detail. The tour started with a visit to the Taj Mahal. Fantastic. Jatin helped us negotiate the lines and security so the entry was very straight forward and almost hassle free. The site was beautiful. After the visit there was a stop at a shop (of course) selling inlayed designed rocks. The demonstration was interesting, and although the artisans tried to sell us stuff, a polite "no" did the trick and the hassle was minimal. We then had a truly fantastic lunch at Bon Barbecue before a great visit to Agra Fort. We stopped at the office to make our payment, met Sagar and his father, and then headed back to Delhi. Great tour and definitely recommended if you only have a day in Delhi and want to see the best of Agra in a short amount of time.

I had a fantastic time on my tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort! I did the sunrise tour leaving from Delhi and everything was smooth and professional. The driver was punctual and safe, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable, the breakfast was delicious, and the Taj Mahal was once-in-a-lifetime status. I was very pleased with the service offered through majesticagra. The driver picked me up from my hotel at the indicated time and we arrived in Agra before the sunrise. Anas (tour guide) met us and we got through the gates very quickly. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job giving details on both the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. The driver was always ready and I was back in Delhi by the early evening. Sagar runs a great business and this trip is definitely worth your time.
