Constructed in 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital Shahjahanabad, the Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone and is adjacent to the older Salimgarh Fort, built by Islam Shah Suri in 1546 AD. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty for nearly 200 years, until 1856.[1] It is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a number of museums.
The Masjid e Jahan Numa, commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656 at a cost of one million rupees, and was inaugurated by Imam Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari from Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan.

The City Palace complex is spread over a large area occupying one seventh of the old city of Jaipur. It has a sequence of gardens, buildings and courtyards, temple and museum to give it a grand view that reflects its historical importance and magnificent royal grace. Its outer boundary was built by Raja Jai Singh and other structures by his successors to add charm to it. It also served as a residence for former Maharaja of Jaipur.
The Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The monument was completed in 1734. It features the world's largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Jal Mahal when translated into English means the Water Palace but the complex was never intended to be used as a palace by Maharaja Madho Singh I. Madho Singh, who constructed the Jal Mahal in 1750, simply wished it to be a lodge for himself and his entourage during his duck hunting parties. Madho’s son Madho Singh II greatly enhanced the Jal Palace during the 18th century interior of the palace adding the courtyard grounds and much of the exterior as seen today.

Travel India One Day organised my trip via Mr Raj at his hostel. It was well organised and smoothly done. On the trip they provided me car and driver from the company. I had the pleasure of having Mr Mukesh from the company. He is a great driver, knowledgeable and friendly. Mukesh was always on hand when I needed his help. He is kind & friendly and is always willing to go out of his way to make your experience special. I’ve had a great week travelling around rajasthan and this is thanks to Mukesh. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fun trip around India.
We arrived at hindustan backpackers heaven and there was an office for Travel India One Day. We had no real plans but Raj at the desk gave us a detailed plan with options for price that gave us a good itinerary for the week that we were travelling around india. We were given a driver, Nawal, who took us to each location and did an immaculate job of looking after us showing us all the bestsights in each city we visited. He gave us great local knowledge of what scams to be wary of, knew the best restaurants to eat at, and gave us plenty of tips. He would also drop us off right outside the sights, and he would be right outside once we were done. Would recommend this service highly!!
Hiring Raj and Sanjay to be my guides for my first trip to India was one of the best decisions I have ever made. They treated me like family and the level of customer service was outstanding. They really made my experience here one to remember and I am very grateful and appreciative to them. Thanks guys!
Absolutely amazing experience in India with Hazari. Not only did he show me more of India than I ever could have seen on my own, he explained the history of India and allowed me to ask any questions I wanted. I feel like I learned so much about the places I was visiting. Hazari made me feel safe, secure, and was attentive to any and every need I had. He never let me down. The whole tour was planned out to perfection and with easy at the hostel, and it was fast and effective.
Felt in very safe hands the whole time organising with Abdul and our guide Manu was professional yet fun all thre way from New Delhi to Agra. Always asking if there was something we wanted to do and not putting any pressure on. Highly recommend
I really liked the trip. It was nice to see all the citys and get used to the country. We were 3 people, and the trip wouldve went completly different if we wouldnt have booked this trip. Most hotels we stayed in where alright, but not luxury. But all in all it was a really fulfilling and interesting trip
I came to India not having a plan and when I got to my hostel the workers suggested I try this trip, I did Delhi, pushkar, jaipur, agra, varanasi then back to Delhi, transport between and to and form the airport all included!!! all the hotels in all the places were very nice, the driver I got for Delhi pushkar jaipur and Agra was called Lal Singh and he was incredible, helped me out the whole time looked out for me and gave me a trip I’ll remember forever, cooking mutton, riding camels, elephants, Taj Mahal, went up mountains seen so many temples so much was amazing then I got the night train to varanasi second class AC (to and from varanasi) and it was fine no worries, my tour guide Shikhar Vyas in varanasi was absolutely incredible same age as me and got on unbelievably well felt looked after and safe the whole time, the only down parts was waiting for the Night train, I waited in a restaurant for 7 hours before my 15 hour train to varanasi and about the same in varanasi to come back to Delhi (12 hour train) and I took my clothes to a laundrette and an item was missing and I was meant to go on a boat ride in varanasi but it flooded massively and it flooded downstairs in the hotel, no fault of the guys who own this business but was the only thing that let it down, wasn’t the end of the world besides that the trip was absolutely perfect amazing for a solo traveller all the guys Raj and everyone else was there to help any time very pleased amazing experience
What to say!!!went to mr. Raj Travel india oneday with a blurry idea, told him and he made the rest adjusting it according to the days i had and season So that how he work, tell him your travel focus and idea and he will make them real, off course keeping problems away from you (and when you have limited days this is very good) and always giving good advices on how stay away from troubles Thank you again for letting me enjoy my stay
Thank you for that great trip! It was well organised and in total a great experience. My agent was Bilal who took care and was always available for questions and requests. I really recommend this agency if you look for a comfortable ride through a beautiful country! My driver Kool was very caring and showed me all the necessary stuff to know. A magical tour :)
We did this tour for 11 days and could see a lot of stuff in the north of India. We are young adults and we got the opportunity to expand the golden triangle with more cities/village and also with a tiger safari and a jeep tour with an overnight in the desert. The driver was friendly and helpful. He cooperate with our wishes but he also showed us some places (Like touristic shops ... which wasn‘t always the best) otherwise the tour was excellent. Hotels were very beautiful. We would definitely recommend this tour than it was a comfy travel and otherwise too complicate to do.
Try it and u wont regret it ..our driver turned to be our friend ..with out him and the staff in Delhi we would not have the best experience to witness India in its purity..through backpacker heaven we were able to visit planty cities from dehli .agra.and almost most the cities in rajasthan..great hotels great food..and friendly people ..thanks to sanjay kumar and zihad
I traveled India for 11days in solo. I visited Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi, and comeback to Delhi. I traveled with good driver, he I very kind and gives me many supports. For example, during the trip, I cannot use my credit card, so I was very nervous, but he gives many advices and to me, and I solved my problem. Thanks to him, I can enjoy travel very much.
We had a amazing trip with with our driver kharak shingh. We travelled to Mandawa Pushkar jaipur and Agra. Our driver went above and beyond in helping us navigate these cities both outside the car and in. Highly recommended this journey and driver at such a affordable price. Attached is a photo of our driver

This is our second trip with TIOD and as usual it was top notch, choice of hotels were really good and our driver Milan was our bodyguard cum driver . The best thing what we liked about this company was charity walk where they took us and other tourist to volunteer and help blind students which really touched our heart . It was totally free of cost and anyone can join this without paying anything , you just have to go with them and serve meals of their choices. Hi5 to TIOD
We had a very pleasant and trouble-free trip. Efficient and quality hotel reservations. Our driver Mannu - very good driver, careful - has always been very considerate, good advice and available. He knows the circuit very well. We had a very pleasant and trouble-free trip. Efficient and quality hotel reservations. Raj helped us organize our days, we thank him and highly recommend him.
Moin together, this is only a partial evaluation for now. I did a tour of Pushkar, Jaipur and Agra. Afterwards we take the night train to Varanasi In fact, I didn't book anything in advance and arrived in Dehli without a plan. There Raj greeted me very friendly and had told me a bit about the situation on the ground (Scamner, air pollution: especially in Dehli) I also booked an individual tour directly with Ray. It also happened very quickly and he could also allow me to ride on the night train. The tour has been just great so far. I met a lot of new people. And I would also like to emphasise the driver Sanjey in this sense. Mega great and likeable guy. Was unfortunately a bit battered and sick during the tour. Sanjey had taken care of me and brought me paracetamol, water and some bananas to spice me up^^
We showed up directly to Delhi without having anything closed, at our hotel we were introduced to the agency and a possible 15D tour of Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh (Delhi - Amritsar - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Pushkar - Jaipur - Agra - Varanassi - Delhi), fit us perfectly. Honestly we struggled to decide on the price, it is really expensive (800€ approx/p.) Finally we closed it and after finishing the tour we certainly think we chose well. The tea agency offers three prices according to the quality of hotels and transport, we chose mid-range (hotel above expectatibas and 2n AC class on trains). The unbeatable guide (driver) (name: Suresh Singh), very good English, good recommendations, total flexibility, etc. Fully recommended!! Just as in other countries we would have preferred to manage it all ourselves and day by day, after our experience we believe that in order to make the most of the days on the classic northern route it is necessary to hire a driver. Chaos, multiple delays, possible “scams”, etc. can play a bad time.
