Great expérience to visit Delhi in one day only. Tarun proposed us great activities, not only touristic ones, in Line with our wishes. Good historical and cultural explanations, very Nice and polite, always checking we are ok. The car driver was good too, we felt very safe.

Very interesting tour with a lot of history and information about the city. Tarun was very informative, has great english and answered all of our questions!
Amazing day with Naresh. We were so looked after. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and made sure we had plenty of drinks and snacks.
Tarun was great. It was just right for our family. He customized for what we wanted to do and our stamina. Wonderful tour.
We had the absolute best day exploring Delhi with our guide Tarun! With only having a short time in Delhi it was the perfect activity to see a mix of both culturally and historically important sites! Tarun was so knowledgeable and answered any questions we had, we learnt and saw so much !! Could not recommend enough and would highly recommend supporting the ethos of Reality Tours and Travel. Thank you Tarun and the whole team!
This was a really incredible full-day private tour, with a tour guide and car+driver. My guide Tavrej was fantastic. The tour is customisable and they can take you wherever you want but there is a suggested list of destinations around Delhi (mostly New Delhi and southern part of the city). I had already been to some of the sites on the list so chose the ones I hadn’t been to, which tended to be somewhat outside the city center and harder to reach without a car. This was more than enough to fill a full day. Once the sites were decided, Tavrej tailored the timing of itinerary to make sure we avoided the worst crowds and to take account of traffic and distances between sites. Some of my favorite things we did were the serene Bahai lotus temple and the huge, impressive Akshardham temple, as well as the bustling vegetable market. But the highlight was Qutb Minar which everyone visiting Delhi should see. We also visited the beautiful Lodhi gardens and several tombs therein. We had a casual lunch at a restaurant in Khan Market. I highly recommend this tour.
So much cultural experience. Very knowledgable and patient tour guide. Preffesional and flexible. Slum tour is also a must
We had a brilliant tour with guide Naresh and driver Dharminder. WE were clear as to what. Interested us and that shaped the tour. Naresh really knew his stuff and was able to fill us in on lots of aspects of Indian life - not just where we were. We were very happy with our experience. We chose Reality tours as they are a social enterprise and 80% of their profit goes into support for the disadvantaged in India
This was an excellent tour with varied and interesting sights. The guide Sourav was very helpful and knowledgeable. The driver was excellent too.
I went on a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi with several colleagues. Saurabh was our guide. I had a great experience -- Saurabh was very passionate and invested in teaching us about "real life" in Delhi. I learned a lot. The visit to the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib was particularly inspiring. Thanks so much!
Out guide Vijay was fantastic. We tailored the full day tour to our interests and was very caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
We did the tour with Sam and he told us a lot about the living and working conditions in the slum. He is a very kind person and answered all our questions and took great care of us. We had a delicious lunch break at a South Indian street food stall. In the afternoon we visited a lot of Indian gems, e.g. the tomb and the Sikh temple and Sam told us all about the history and the religious background. We recommend the tour a lot!
This was a great all day trip. We appreciated the opportunity to personalize the tour so we combined sightseeing with a tour of the Sanjay colony. We also really enjoyed visiting the Sikh temple and saw behind the scenes in the kitchens feeding 1000s of people every day. The day was very enjoyable and informative and highly recommended.
Eye opening and informative. Highly recommend. It's not the cheapest day tour but will provide an unforgettable experience.
I went on a tour of Delhi with Stanley and Ravinder (driver). Ravinder was very kind and picked me up from my hotel out of town. I am grateful to him for getting me there and back safely. The tour started at the Gurdwara and I was quite overwhelmed with how wonderful it was. Stanley my tour guide was so good. He really knows his stuff and he can also speak really good Spanish! I think he is a great asset to the company. Another highlight of the trip was the Lodi Park and India Gate where he told me the history and remembered all the dates. I had the best time and will definitely go on another tour when I return to Delhi.
We done the full day private tour of Delhi. The first half was at the Sanjay Colony and the remainder sightseeing. 80% of the cost goes to Reality Gives NGO who fund a community centre, school and other initiatives in the slum. Our tour guide Vijay was from the slum and was fantastic. We were able to pick which sights we wanted to visit within the time we had. I highly recommend this tour.
I simply cannot speak highly enough of this company. An amazing day in Delhi with friendly, knowledgeable, considerate driver and guide. The first night I joined a friend at the end of her night tour for dinner, and the owner of the business took us out for a great meal of biryanis! Also an ethical business, and the slum tour was very interesting and thought provoking. Fantastic.
I had two fantastic days with Sagar as my guide. There is something to be said for spending time with someone who lives in and loves his city. And, there is definitely something to be said for investing one's tourism dollars in a social enterprise that gives you an unforgettable experience while directing 80% of the proceeds into programs that give a hand up to youth who lack the very advantages that makes your presence in Delhi possible for you. Day 1 was the Sanjay Colony Tour. A great experience. With Sagar's help, I was able to learn enough words / phrases in Hindi to engage a bit with the multitude of children, youth and adults who warmly embraced my presence in their community. It was also super helpful having Sagar available as a translator for longer conversations. The conversation with the physician in the health clinic was particularly a highlight. Day 2 began with a visit to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (the world's largest Hindu temple) and Humayan's Tomb with the remainder of the day spent in Old Delhi focusing mainly on the market. The latter was an incredible experience. There is no way to describe sheer intensity of human activity. It was captivating... creating endless memories .... the spice market, the Sikh temple, the chicken market, the view of the market from 5 stories up, the rickshaw rides, the chaos of crossing the street at "Gate 1". Beyond the obvious recommendation of "book with Reality Tours", I'd offer two other suggestions. First, ask to include the Metro (subway) in your experience. The majority of this vast network has been built since 2005 and puts multiple other major urban centres to shame. It is super impressive in its efficiency, cleanliness, and its emphasis on remaining affordable for all Delhi residents. Second, skip worrying about a checklist of all the sites you have seen in Delhi. There are too many. Just breathe in the experience... go deep, not broad and resist the temptation of experiencing it mainly through the lens of your camera. Finally ... big shout-out for Sagar. His enthusiasm and optimism are tremendously refreshing and his knowledge of history, culture, religion and more are truly refreshing for a young guy in his early 20s.
TL;DR Visiting the Taj and Agra is a hell of a long day, but was made entirely worth it by our tour guide, Sagar, and Reality Tours. On the day of the tour, Sagar, showed up at our hotel at 06:00 with a driver to get us started on the three hours drive to Agra from Delhi. Along the way, we stopped at a charming little Chai stand as well as a local village that Reality Tours had a relationship with. All the while, Sagar peppered us with incredibly interesting information and engaged us in interesting conversation, even playing us some of his favorite music. The actual Taj is a bit crazy, as you'd expect one of the wonders of the world to be, but we breezed through the lines, and got the full rundown of the monument with the help of a local tour guide (since you must be licensed to lead a guide through the Taj). After the Taj, we headed to the Agra fort and again were ushered through the lines and given the full history of the building and the Mughals responsible for erecting it. One of the best experiences I had in two and a half weeks in Indaii
We did the day tour, which includes visiting New Delhi and Sanjay Colony, the latter of which is particularly interesting. Our guide Kavita was very nice and friendly. He answered all our thousand questions! Super recommended!!
Excellent and interesting guide, full of knowledge, a lot of knowledge, a lot of courtesy, a lot of kindness, a lot of heart.
We booked a full day New Dehli tour in the car including the Street Food Tour in Old Dehli by metro. It was a long but very varied day where we saw the main sights in New Dehli (India Gate, Gandi Museum, Lotus Temple, Spring Steps, Shik Temple, Tomb Grinders,.... Our young guide Tavery led us through the day with a lot of motivation and gave us a lot of answers to questions that arose during our 5 week trip. The street food was very delicious.
We discovered this NGO through the Guide du Routard and were touched by their principle of helping slum dwellers with the benefits of organized tours. We first tested the tours in Mumbai and were so delighted with their services, professionalism and kindness that we repeated the experience in Delhi, on 2 tours: Old Delhi and the Spice Point of Sale, and the day trip by car. We loved it! The approach to slum visits is made with intelligence and kindness. To do absolutely!
Organization of the highest organizational and social level. Courtesy, efficiency, competence. Guides prepared and always available. Tried various tours in Mumbai and Delhi. Special appreciation and thanks to the guides Rajesh (Mumbai) and Shehnaz (Delhi). The social commitment of the Organization is also highly appreciated.
