Delhi 360° Private Tour With Female Guide - Full Or Half Day Tour

I’d taken the Old Delhi food tour with The Lost Compass, which was brilliant. So they were my number 1 choice when it came to booking a tour of the city’s highlights for me and my husband. It was absolutely the right choice. Parul is a wonderful guide - she is full of knowledge about the city’s past and full of insights about its present. She brought the city to life for us in an amazing way and took great care of us as we navigated the hustle and bustle of the city. We would hugely recommend this tour.

Parul was my guide for a full day of Delhi 360 Tour. I only had one day in Delhi and this was the way to do it. She was so friendly and personable and full of local insight and perspective, with a long family history in Delhi. She shared in depth details about each of the sites we visited, and more about the cultural context of Delhi. I would book another tour on their website site again when I have more time…Jaipur next, maybe?

PHENOMENAL, 10/10, 5 STARS, WILL BOOK AGAIN! I cannot say enough about how fantastic Parul made my adventure day! She was fun to be around INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about ALL things. I mean it, like having a private historian escort you around the city and then also chat about various spices in markets and materials etc. I went to India on a work trip and wanted to sneak in some fun, sights, and shopping. IT WAS SO FUN! I felt comfortable and safe the whole time and was able to enjoy India from both a tourist and local perspective. I’ll be back sometime next year and will try out the food tour with them and request Parul for sure. If you’re hesitating or unsure-this is your sign, go book! They’re a smaller company in a great way and truly cater to and value their clients.

Fabulous tour that covered four major sites in Delhi. Our guide, Parul did an outstanding job explaining the background of each site. She made the tour fun despite the hot temperatures. It was an easy walk with plenty of breaks and rest rooms stops. Parul and the driver arrived early to our hotel and got us back in time. I would highly recommend the tour, Parul and The Lost Compass for your next trip to Delhi.

Patul did an excellent job. I would recommend her 281. She spoke clearly to help me understand what was going on. I’ve had some guides that spoke too fast, so it was hard to understand, but she spoke slow and about the subject. She had great knowledge and everything she did. I would ask questions and she would answer them properly, no matter where we were at. One is great things about her is that she watched me on the steps to help me down if I needed it. I’m 78 years old and insured help. The excursions we missed. I authorized because it was raining. We’re got up to be too hot. She stopped at a place to eat that was great and I enjoyed immensely so did my partner Ofelia. What a great personality she has we became friends with her and enjoyed her company. Immensely you have a great guide there or anyone wanting to take a tour with Patel. I’m from America and it’s hard to get good guides when you’re planning tour because you don’t know what you’re going to get some good and summer band. I’ve been around long enough to understand that. I would hope in the near future when we come back next year in May to India to Mumbai that we can use your again for a guide I will pacifically be looking for that. We had a great all day tour with Parul which started at 8am and ended at 4pm. It was a very hot 40 degree day in Delhi and Parul was very accomodating of our needs during the tour and took good care of us. Our favourite sites were Humayun’s Tomb and the Lodhi Art District and Gardens - Parul gave us a great narrative of everything along the way. Highly recommend!

This was a very comprehensive tour and well organized. Parul was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide that handled all logistics and let us truly enjoy the sites and provided great insights and history. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Delhi, especially if you do not have a lot of time to spend here. I felt very safe as a female traveler.

I had a fantastic tour of Delhi with Parul today and I am absolutely thrilled. My tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and structured the tour perfectly. We visited various markets, temples, parks and the pace was just right—a great mix of sightseeing and authentic experiences. We also travelled with the Metro which was a nice experience. What impressed me most was how she was able to explain every detail about the places and facts that interested me. No matter what questions on thr background and even Indian culture I had, Parul was always helpful and provided insightful answers. The time flew by! I will definitely book another tour with her next time I am here. I highly recommend this experience to everyone!

She also kindly helped take photos in many beautiful spots. It was an excellent tour! She even brought us to a Chinese-Indian restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. Overall, it was a fun and wonderful experience.

Can't recommend this experience enough; Parul and her team go above and beyond to give guests an amazing experience. I'm new to India and this was the perfect mix of broad historical context and local experience. Parul is very knowledgable about both the history of Delhi and the current cultural context, from food trends to Bollywood. It was great to have a car shuttle us around the city (for the sake of time!), but also have a chance to use normal transport (metro, rickshaw/tuktuk) to get a feel for everyday life. Also really enjoyed exploring temples from some of the many religions rooted in India and learning more about their origins, checking out the enormous spice market, and getting a view on the art scene here. Some great snacks too! Highly recommend.

This was a fantastic experience seeing so many different highlights of Delhi. We saw so much in just one day! This was a really stress-free way to explore Delhi on my solo trip. Thanks Parul for being an excellent guide and adding so much colour to my experience.

I booked this tour as a solo female and it exceeded expectations! I had limited days in Delhi so I wanted to pack in as much as I could in a day and this tour was perfect for that. My guide Parul met me at my hotel with a driver and we set out for the day. We saw a mix of historical sites, temples, markets, and art. And we got to use different modes of transit - car, metro, Tuk Tuk. Parul was so friendly and informative and she really just made the day so great! 10/10 recommend

Our last day in Delhi, we wanted to get the most out of it, but it was a monday, when a lot is closed. Lost Compass tailormade a tour for us with the best guide ever, Parul. We saw new sights and she took us to taste more modern food like Shawarma and the best momos. And as we were only the 4 of us we could ask all kinds of questions about the Indian history and culture today. I can not praise this highly enough, it's such good value.

Our guided tour around Delhi with Raghu and Parul was perfect. This was my 3rd tour with Raghu and I will come back for many more. Both of the guides were kind, knowledgeable, engaging and fun and really allowed us to move at our own pace throughout the day! We did a combination of historical sight seeing, street art tour and old Delhi food tour so managed to fit a lot into one day! We were always offered more food too which was really appreciated😋 10/10 must do in Delhi!

Went on a custom day tour of Delhi with Raghu and Parul, we picked the things we most wanted to see (some sightseeing, some street art and some street food). It was the most amazing day, they were both so patient and knowledgeable and took us to see exactly what we wanted. Learnt so much and experienced different parts of Delhi, and honestly just had the most fun day. Would completely recommend to anyone who is looking for someone to show them around, had a comfortable minibus included to take us around as there were 6 of us.

Today I views a custom solo trip to various monuments and temples with Dolly. What a great day and her knowledge far surpassed many “older” tour guides I have had. We went to several places around Delhi that I would never have imagined. And lunch? Another goofy. Thanks so much Dolly for making my short time here so worthwhile!

Parul did a fantastic job today. She has a calming and confident demeanor that immediately created a comfortable space for discussion. She was open to anything I wanted to ask about the places we visited. The tour itself is extremely well-organized and paced perfectly. Parul was an amazing guide. She did not just give a cookie cutter history lesson but explained everything in a way that it felt like you were listening to the most fantastic and enthralling story. Parul is a fantastic guide and fascinating personality. She arrived right on time to pick us from the hotel. We were worried about the air pollution but it was not as seen on the news. Parul explained all places with their historical stories. She also answered all questions with patience. The rickshaw experience in Old Delhi was unique. We had an amazing day in Delhi covering almost all aspects of the city in one day. We didn’t have time for the food tour but we will definitely go for it with the same team. We highly recommend this tour. You will be amazed.

We had a wonderful tour with Parul. She was friendly, lovely, helpful and knowledgeable person. She picked us up from the hotel in the morning. We toured Delhi step by step as planned with the driver who was as cheerful as her. She was very knowledgeable about everywhere, she enlightened us. This tour is definitely the best way to spend your day in Delhi! It covers so many spots, hitting all the different cultural highlights of the city. We tried some amazing food, visited a few temples, checked out street art, explored gardens, and so much more. We had the pleasure of spending a good 11 hours with the lovely Parul, exploring a comprehensive selection of Delhi's sights. This marathon private tour had it all...beautiful temples, peaceful gardens, amazing art, incredible architecture, mind boggling markets, not to mention the delicious tea and lunch. We appreciated the hotel pick up and air-conditioned transport with driver, but also getting to try the metro, tuk tuks and even the rickshaws on chaotic Chandni Chowk! Parul is an intelligent and very knowledgeable guide, who was very mindful of our safety and comfort at all times. She is a great conversationalist and we really enjoyed her company throughout the day. One important thing to note, the company has a "no shopping" policy which we think is genius...there's nothing more irritating than being taken to shops full of stuff that you don't want to buy, on the pretence of a "cultural/workshop tour". We highly recommend this tour for visitors who might be a bit short on time as we were...it's a long day but very enjoyable and well worth it.

I had an amazing time with my guide, Parul, on this long but super fun tour! We chose this one because we only had 2 days in Delhi, and after doing a food tour with them earlier, I knew I could trust them for this one too—and they did not disappoint. The tour is really well-designed, covering all the different sides of Delhi, which I loved. Even though it’s an almost 11-hour day, there were breaks for coffee and lunch, which made it totally manageable. It can still be a bit tiring for some, but if you’re short on time and want to see as much as possible, this is the perfect way to do it.
