We are four women from Denmark who travelled together through India. After arriving at Hotel Hindustan Heaven in New Delhi, Mr. Raj arranged a driver for us for the day. We were so impressed with our driver, Mr. Dinesh, that we decided to book him for the rest of our journey from Agra to Ranthambore and Jaipur. Mr. Dinesh was an excellent driver and a great help throughout our trip. He gave us useful advice on sightseeing and shopping and helped us avoid common tourist scams. He was always friendly, flexible and happy to accommodate our wishes and priorities. We prefer exploring places at our own pace without a guide, and Mr. Dinesh understood this perfectly. He would drop us off at each destination and always be easy to find when we were ready to leave, greeting us with a smile every time. I was travelling with three friends from Denmark, and we had a wonderful experience with Travel India One Day. Mr. Raj arranged our first day trip in New Delhi, where we met our driver, Mr. Dinesh. We were so happy with him that we decided to continue with him for our journey from Agra to Ranthambore and Jaipur. Mr. Dinesh was an excellent driver, always friendly, reliable and helpful. He gave us great suggestions for sightseeing and useful advice on how to avoid tourist scams. We especially appreciated his flexibility, as we prefer exploring sights on our own without a guide and at our own pace. He always made sure we knew where to meet him afterwards and was there waiting with a big smile. The car was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning – something we really appreciated in the Indian heat! As four women travelling together, feeling safe was very important to us, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout the journey. We had an amazing week with Gulshan. From pick up to drop off faultless. Our favourite part The Taj Mahal and Rathambore and the roadside stops for a masala chai. Highly recommend.

Kamal was our driver, very plesant and polite man and a good driver. Felt very safe, and showed us some good spots. Also cooked some nice traditional Indian dinner together with Kamal and his friends. Very good experience, and tasty food! I would recommend him as a driver, and also trip was well planned by Raj, and we saw a lot of things in the golden triangle. I would recommend to make sure that the jungle jeep/bus goes into zone 1-5, then better chance of seeing tiger. Also some spots cost extra money, so make sure you want to see the monument/building/museum before going. Guid was booked to all places, and guides were very good. Overall very happy with our trip, but more expensive than if you could plan it all yourself.

Our driver Kamal was very nice. He hosted a nice dinner for us in Jaipur. You can tell that hes a very skilled driver and we felt very save on the road

I had the pleasure of meeting Guru through Raj, and I’m really grateful for the experience. We traveled together through Delhi, Jaipur, Vrindavan, and Mathura, and from the beginning he was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. Guru was not only a great driver and guide, but also someone I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. We shared many fun moments, visited beautiful temples and local places, and he always took the time to explain their history, meaning, Indian culture, and traditions. Traveling with him gave me the opportunity to experience these places from a much more local and authentic perspective. He was also always looking out for me, helping with hotels, train connections, and making sure everything went smoothly during the trip. I’m very grateful to Guru for all the experiences, conversations, and laughs we shared. We actually went on a two month tour organised by Mr Raj who is based in The hotel Namaste Hindustan in New Delhi. All the places that we wished to see were included in the itinerary The first month was spent being driven around by Mukesh- a very experienced and charming driver who went out of his way to make sure we were happy I cannot recommend him any high enough .He was wonderful and we had a great time During our second month we travelled by train mainly and Mr Raj made himself available to us 24/7 for any problem or query we might have had This was indeed a holiday of a lifetime Thank you Mukesh and Mr Raj

We had a full on experience across the Golden Triangle. Our main highlight was our gem of a taxi driver Arjun. Not only was his English impressive along with his driving, hospitality as well as the cleanliness of his car, he made us feel extremely safe and welcome and in to end could not have imagined travelling India without him. Booked via Abdul at Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven. Price/performance was okay—self-booking is cheaper, but agencies are convenient if everything works. Met someone who paid less for a similar trip with more driver days. My driver, Kamal Kishore (with me 5 days) was excellent: safe driving, friendly, good English. After the rest of the trip, I’m sure self-booking would’ve been better. The problems I faced are exactly what agencies should prevent: 1. Nobody in Jaisalmer was aware of my promised transfer to the train station. Almost got charged again. 2. Trip ended with 4+ days in Jaipur—too much. Previous schedule was much denser; felt like I wasted 1-2 days. 3. Last night in Jaipur wasn’t booked. Had to switch hotels; agency didn’t cover full extra cost.

I was stay in Hindustan Hostel in New Dehli, really confortable and the staff was very good. I met Mr Abdul in the hostel, he organise my tour for 7 days in Rajasthan by car. He explain me good, and he provide me driver Mr Mukesh. We have a very good experience. The divring is very nice, very good for a family with children aged of 4 and 7 years old. He explain me all about Indian culture, good place to see, and good place to eat. The car is very confortable and clean. He have a lot of experience in India, a very safe driving. We were exploring india with friends and we book a trip with Raj, he made a reservation for a private taxi for the group. He introduced Kuljeet (Kool), a very nice driver that helped us a lot to see the best places in the country and the most delicious restaurants. We started our tour in Dheli, then we moved to Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

There was 5 of us including 12 & 14 year olds boys, it was easy to book the tour I was messaging Raj as I wanted to make slight amendments which weren’t a problem and once booked he kept in contact with me right up to the trip, arriving in New Delhi Kamal our driver for the whole trip meet us and was such a lovely man, the way he navigated the Indian roads which is a mission in itself I felt safe, he always showed up on time with a smile, made all the little enroute stops we asked for especially plenty of coconut water! The restaurants he took us to were amazing never a bad meal, it was my sons 13th whilst we were there and he arranged a cake for him which was a complete surprise he really went out his way for us to make it an amazing trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again hopefully to see more of India

We had a driver by the name of Kamal, he was amazing, very friendly, helpful , knowledgeable and flexible in supporting our holiday. It was my sons birthday and Kamal went out of his way to make it a very special occasion.

Had an amazing time. Did an eight day tour with Sanjay as our guide. Delhi-Agra- Ranthambore-Jaipur. Sanjay went above and beyond and was very accommodating to our last minute requests. His restaurant choices were very delicious. The local guides Vikas Prajapati (Delhi), Nazim (Agra), and Jetendra (Jaipur) were all very informative and catered to hitting the highlights. Kuldeep Singh (our driver) deserves an award because roads in India are not real places. Would recommend to those traveling to India. Request Sanjay. 😀

We booked with Raj through Hotel Namaste Hindustan. We were unsure how to spend our time in India when we arrived, but everything was planned out for us to suit our needs. We chose to travel around the golden triangle and added in safari in Ranthambore. The hotels we stayed in were great, as well as the food provided. Our driver Kamal made the trip even better. He was willing to accommodate any request we had and got us to each destination safely and was able to offer us very good advice in the various locations. Overall I am very pleased with the service and would recommend to anyone looking to book a tour for ease and comfort when coming to India.

Started at Backpackers Heaven Hostel in Delhi where we had a very warm welcome from the team, travel man Raj was very helpful with getting a trip put together with loads of activities along the way. Our driver denish first picked us up from the airport where we all took a liking to him and requested he was our driver for the driving section of our trip, we had the best time with denish and felt more like we were being driven by a friend than a driver, his car is spacious and spotless and his service was impeccable helping with any issues we had. The whole team kept us informed on food to dodge, scams to keep aware of and good places to visit for food etc. Highly recommend

Having arrived in Delhi with a clear plan of what we wanted to do but with no arrangements in place, we spoke with Raj at the Hotel Namaste. He put an 8 day itinerary together for us which included all of the places we wanted to see plus a transfer to the airport in Jaipur as we continued our travels to South India. We were assigned Gullu as our driver and guide as we spent the next 8 days touring Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Rathanbhore. Gullu knows many people everywhere and he uses his contacts to make your experience everything you want it to be. He goes out of his way to make sure you are safe, well informed and enjoying yourself at all times. He is such a happy man and he is not "good" - he is "very good!" (In joke which you will understand if you are lucky enough to get Gullu as your guide). Our memory of our trip to India this time will be the day celebrating Holi in Jaipur and dancing the afternoon away at a party in the street covered in a multitude of colours! I was staying in new Hindustan Hotel in Dehli. I met Mr Abdul. He organised my tour by car with driver Mr Mukesh. Mukesh was invaluable with his knowledge throughout the entire trip. Cannot recommend Mukesh highly enough if you are planning a trip anywhere in India. Mukesh is situated in Dehli, but you can go anywhere for any length of time in India with him. I know I will be recommending him to all my friends

Together with Travel India One Day, I planned an eight-day round trip from Delhi to Jaipur to Ranthambore to Agra with a stop in Fathepur Sikri and back to Delhi. A dense program that took us to some of India's most admirable sights with the opportunity to get an insight into the unique culture and way of life of North India. Very good hotels that I could look at and approve or change before departure. No food poisoning or insecurity along the way. Don't underestimate the importance of a good driver. Dinesh is both very experienced in the crazy traffic and very sweet and accommodating. He adapted to our wishes and contributed to the trip with good humor and knowledge of India. During the trip, we communicated with both our driver and the agency on WhatsApp.

The starting point of our trip was the Backpacker Heaven in Delhi, there Mr. Raj recommended us our great driver Lokesh and did all the organizing parts of our trip. The organization was perfect! Our journey took us from Delhi and Agra via Ranthambore National Park to Jaipur. We had exciting days. Our driver Lokesh always got us safely through the wild indian traffic. Our driver was always on time, helpful and always had good advice for us since it was our first trip to India. We were driven to all the important sightseeing spots worth seeing. Great and delicious restaurants were recommended to us every day. Our driver always asked if everything was okay and explained to us about cultural differences. He always had an open ear and answered all of our questions about the country and its people. We were completely satisfied, felt comfortable and can only recommend Lokesh, he is ready for any route.

I had a custom made trip with India Travel One day suited to my needs. I had already made about itarnary myself but with a few changes and recommandations a slightly different plan was created. Everywhere I went with train there was a driver waiting on the platform and during Agra - Rhantambore - Jaipur - Pushjar I had Sanjay driving me around. Sanjay gave me tips on where to go whilst I was walking and also gave m restaurant recommendations and showed me places to see. I overal had an amazing time.

I have never been to India and this is my first time so I booked a tour as it has been high on my bucket list for ages. We booked the 7 day tour and it has been amazing. Dinesh was our tour guide/ driver and become our friend and he has tailored our tour to make it unforgettable. He has taken us to places that he knew me and my friend would like. We have seen monkeys, fed elephants and visited all the important landmarks in India. Dinesh is not only professional, but maintains our safety at all times and gives us advice to keep us safe at all times. He is always early to pick us up, and is extremely friendly and has an excellent sense of humour. Anyone who books this tour with Dinesh is guaranteed to have the best time! I’m currently in Ranthambore National Park after spending an afternoon safari with the tigers. It has been the best experience and I cannot thank our driver/friend Dinesh for looking after us every step of the way. He has personalised our trip to suit what he thinks we would enjoy and he has got it spot on - from visiting a Chakra to feeding the monkeys and cows. Would recommend to anyone and would pray that you have Dinesh as your driver!!

Lokesh is a good driver and if you came to India I would recommend him. Highly recommend the ranthambore tiger safari and recommend you book all your own activities because you will be lead into sales pitch after sales pitch.

Top notch communication by the company and the driver whilst on the tour which was great from the start. The "5-star" hotels we had were nice and alternatives may be available if you ask. Our hotel in Delhi wasn't a true 5-star, but was in a nice location for Delhi to Agra. You'll need to work out where you want the driver to take you, as the itinerary provided on Viator isn't fixed, but the tour company and driver can advise. This tour provides great flexibility dependant on your needs and we had a great overall experience. Watch out for the shops the driver/tour guide wants to take you to, but you can always say no. Some of our favourite sites were the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, the Chand Baori stepwell on the way from Agra to Ranthambhore, and seeing the amazing Tigers (tip: pay extra to take 2 tours as we saw none on our first but saw 5 on our afternoon Canter)!

My friend and 1 went with Kamal kishore for a 7 day trip around the golden triangle plus an extra stop in pushkar. Kamal has gone above and beyond for us making this trip better than we had ever imagined. Whatever we needed he has managed to fix for us and he has been great company to have along on the trip, very very funny and pleasant and always answered all of our questions and tried to give information along the way. When I got sick he did not stop until he found us what we needed and always found us good guides for the different excursions we wanted to do. If we ever come back to India it’s Kamal we will want as our driver again. Bilal helped us book this trip on our first day in Delhi and we’re very happy that he did as we got so much more out of our experience. If there’s one thing to complain about it’s that for the next time, he should take in to consideration how long it actually takes to travel between each stops. We were booked in to do the tiger safari in Ranthambore in the morning and he had then told us that we’d make it to Pushkar in time for the last day of the camel fare however we then found out that the drive was gonna take around 6 hours which meant that we arrived at night and therefore missed the fare because the safari ended to late to make the journey on time. We had a great time in pushkar anyway and Kamal showed us a lot of interesting things but for next time to take in the travel time when promising things when the trip is being booked. Otherwise we are very very happy.

We went on this trip with our driver Kamal Kishore and it was an amazing trip. We got to see a lot of places and experience a lot of different things. We are very happy we got to have Kamal because he always made sure that we were okey and compatible during the whole trip. He is a very nice persons and according to us, the best driver for this job. If I should say one negative aspect of this trip it’s the planing what could have been better from Bilals side at sometimes. For example we had a safari in Rantambourg one morning and were then about to go to Pushgar to se the Kamel fair but the drive was very long so we did not make it to the fair in time. So in the future, think about the time it takes to get between the places more, both for the drivers and klients sake. Other than that the help we got was very helpful and we could not have done this on our own.

I can highly recommend booking with Travel India One Day for a reasonable priced golden triangle and tiger tour. From the outset they were very responsive to messages and questions before booking, and prior to the trip, which gave great reassurances that all would be good and we would be looked after. I opted for the 5-star hotel choices. Although they weren’t all true 5-star hotels, by the hotels own ratings, they all had 5-star listings on the booking engines. Alternative hotels were offered when I queried this for Delhi, but we opted to stay in our original hotel due to its location for escaping Delhi the next day. Our Delhi hotel was okay, but the other hotels chosen were very good with the Anuraga Palace in Ranthambore being our favourite. Our final hotel in Jaipur was switched to a “mystery” hotel which turned out to be a lovely surprise as it was originally a hotel that was more average despite being a 5-star on booking engines. We had a separate driver for the first day, but our main driver (Mannu) took us from Delhi to Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur and back to Delhi. He was a very patient and safe driver on what were long challenging drives amongst the erratic Indian traffic. The car was a little old, but comfortable and cool enough in November. Can highly recommend his services if you have a choice. He was always checking up with us to ensure that we were happy and well and was always on time, even if we were ready early. The itinerary supplied online is only a suggestion, so be sure to have an idea as to what you would like to see. Our driver was happy to take us anywhere we wanted to go. The guides provided in Agra and Jaipur were different. Both were a little difficult to understand and we probably should’ve told the Jaipur guide to talk more slowly. Our Agra guide was pretty good, but the Jaipur guide was in too much of a hurry with her explanations and quick guiding around Amber Fort. Recommend taking 2 tiger tours in Ranthambore (extra canter was 6500IND for 2people) and mentioning to the driver if you haven’t seen any tigers on the first tour. Not sure if it made a difference, but we saw no tigers in the morning jeep (zone 10) and saw 5 on the large canter in the afternoon (zone 2) together with a very rare Sloth bear plus many other animals and baby crocodiles. Don’t know if the driver helped get us a better zone for the afternoon, but it was a truly amazing experience and beautiful scenery! Total monument fees were around 3000IND each for us (Taj Mahal most expensive at 1300IND), including some jeep and tuktuk transfers, but this was probably the minimum you would want as there was more we could have seen. Maximum monument fees are probably around 5000IND if you want more. Be sure to save enough money for guide/driver/general tips, plus possible purchases from shop visits, as they’re all appreciated! Overall it was a trip that I would highly recommend and would gladly use the services of Travel India One Day again!

My partner and I booked a 16 day tour with Travel India One Day and it was a fantastic experience, I highly recommend these guys. The tour included a private driver named Kamal Kishore, for 8 days. After departing Delhi with Kamal together we visited Agra (Taj Mahal), Ranthambhore (Tiger Safari), Jaipur (Rajasthan capital), Pushkar (holy city), Bikaner (red city) and Jaisalmer (desert safari). Kamal was an exceptional driver, who was the epitome of accomodating. No matter what experience/sight we were interested in Kamal knew the right company/place to take us to in each city. This included a private yoga studio, restaurants, temples, a jeweller, clothing and textile stores, cinema, sunset and sunrise locations and more. Kamal constantly made great suggestions for activities and also generously was available for our requests at all hours of the day. On occasions when we just wanted to rest and take the afternoon/morning off touring he was also accommodating of this. Kamal is a man of great character and it began to feel like we were travelling with a friend. Many thanks Kamal we wish the best to you and your family! For the second part of our journey visit Jodhpur (blue city) during Diwali, Udaipur (lake city) and Mumbai. My sister and I booked a private tour of the Golden Triangle directly with the agency. Being two women, we were initially a bit apprehensive. However, from the moment we met our driver, Mannu, we felt safe and protected. He was exceptionally polite, friendly, and attentive, meeting all our needs and ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend both the agency and Mannu for anyone looking for a trustworthy and memorable tour!

He was a very nice man, very helpful and provided me an excellent driver, Mr Mukesh who bought me to many amazing places in Deli, Agra, Ranthamnbore and Jaipur showing the beautiful sightseeing. We’ve had such a good week touring with our driver Kool, who is very knowledgeable, and great company. He covered many different topics with us, including history of the different cities, food recommendations, and music. Hotels have all been good standard and we’ve felt very safe in India, and supported by the tour company too. Definitely recommend!

While in Delhi, Raj, the tour guide helped me book the rest of my stay in India and I did a 7 day tour with Kamal with travel India one day. starting from Delhi. He picked me up directly from my hostel (Hindustan backpackers) and drove to Agra, Ranthambore, Pushkar and finally to Jaipur. He also drove me to all of the sites within those cities which made things very convenient for getting around. He was on standby 24/7 in case I wanted to go to a bar/ restaurant at night and he would happily come to pick me up. The service provided by Kamal was outstanding, he is a very chatty guy ( although he recognised when I was tired and let me rest) and incredibly nice, very easy to get on with and have a laugh with. He provided really good information about each city and tourist attraction which was very interesting to know before going to each place. He also provided recommendations for food and advised which street foods to avoid and which ones were safe. He also suggested interesting activities to do that are unique for example some of his friends happened to be in Jaipur at the same time and one of them is a really good chef so he invited me to come and learn how to cook chicken korma with them and have a beer - this was one of my favourite experiences of the whole trip. Also, after getting up very early to do the safari tour in ranthambore he knew I was tired and suggested to go for a massage which I did and it was lovely! Kamal also taught me some Hindi words to use on the street to impress locals and make them laugh! He also explained how many of the scams in India work and how tourists can avoid them, he did this before we went to any tourist attraction so I really appreciated this. Car was very comfortable with great AC. Kamal also kept the car very clean and was constantly cleaning it while I went off to visit tourist attractions so that was always nice to come back to. I can't recommend Kamal enough, he is a gentleman and such a fun guy to travel around India with. I want to come back in the future and tour with him again!

This was an incredibly well organized trip… big thanks to Raj for setting it up. Ajay provided top notch service and drove me from place to place and city to city. The accommodations they provided were wonderful. I really appreciated it and I couldn’t recommend this tour more!

An intro into a completely different world. After meeting Gullu for an amazing day around Delhi, I then traveled solo to Varanasi which was a highlight of my trip. After an overnight train back to Agra, I was then very happy to once again see Gullu’s smiling face, as he would have the task of showing me around the rest of Rajasthan. Over the following week, Gullu not only provided a feeling of immense safety, but also plenty of amazing insight and information about India itself. I would recommend him to anybody as a driver, and will certainly be lucky to have Gullu’s services when I visit this amazing country again.

Had an absolutely amazing experience on our private tour. Our driver Denise was lovely, very helpful and catered to our every need. His car was clean had had air conditioning. We very very safe as a young couple who wanted to explore the highlights of the north. I would 100% recommend getting a private driver up here as we got to see a lot more than what we would of with public transport. All accommodation booked were great clean hotels and breakfast was good too. THANK YOU so much Denise for making our trip so special.
