We researched a few different touring companies and landed with Squid Travels due to their professional, thorough, and quick communication. They were also a great value! The communication leading up to the trip was very helpful and the staff was extremely accommodating to our requests and questions. They prepared an itinerary but were very flexible in allowing us to customize it based our varied interests. As soon as we landed (and throughout the trip) our interactions with the staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. We hit a snag here and there (it happens sometimes and is out of the tour company’s control) but they were quick to help us pivot and maximize our time. When we made requests, the team at Squid Travel (our guides, our driver - who was awesome!, and the coordinating staff) worked together to provide for us a trip that suited us, was safe, informative, comfortable, and fun! The hotels they booked for us were perfect! The guides they set us up with were very helpful in giving great insights to the history and culture we were experiencing. Our driver was flexible, kind, professional, and made our travels through the golden triangle so smooth. There were a few inevitable touristy situations that are built into traveling in India (e.g. a guide adding in a stop to an overpriced shopping mall designed for tourists). However, once we communicated to Squid Travels that we did not have interest in these, they ensured these stops by the guides would be limited. I would certainly recommend Squid Travels for a tour through the Golden Triangle!
