We really enjoyed the trip and the most caring Mr.Sultan Singh took care of us. His safe driving and explanations through out the tour was amazing. Mr.Javed responded immediately to my inquiry and arranged all hotels exceptionally well. Wishing A1 tours and the company best wishes. Highly recommended to anyone who wants an hassle free and reliable tour of the Golden Triangle! God Bless.
We did a 3 day Golden Triangle tour Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi! We booked through Javed at A1 tours and our fantastic driver was the legend Sultan!! Cant speak highly enough! Totally oustanding experience! Heath and Trudy, Bermagui, Australia!
We had a great experience with our driver sultan Singh on the Golden Triangle tour. He was punctual, professional, and drove safely, making the journey comfortable and stress-free. Always friendly and helpful, he went the extra mile to make our trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
I would highly recommend this company. I found them via previous Tripadvisor reviews. I can confirm that Javed is a consummate professional in how he deals with all queries and requests, no matter what time of the day or day of the week. We had little time so we had a truncated tour, really only two and a half days but Javed helped us to personalise our trip to include all of the places we really wanted to see. Because of our limited time we requested to avoid any non-essential stops. We were met at the airport by our assigned driver Bharat Singh. He proved to be an excellent driver for our whole trip. Always punctual and always safe. I would highly recommend him. We had a different guide in each city. Vash in Jaipur gave us a very good tour of the amber fort. He gave us photo opportunities at the lake palace and the palace of winds. He lost a bit of interest in us after we declined a visit to a material printing workshop - I suspect that this was a commission based visit. PK gave us a very good tour of the Taj Mahal - a really memorable experience. However he almost allowed us to be taken in by a photographer scam - the guy quoted us a price per picture but at the end tried to insist we take a minimum of 50 photographs. He also insisted on taking us to a mosaic workshop. When we did not make a purchase he lost interest and declined to accompany us to the Agra Fort. Our guide in Delhi brought us to the India Gate (but not very close), the Lodhi Gardens and Qutub Minar. All in all, the dealings with Javed were excellent (though we were a little surprised at the 4% levy for paying the balance of our tour by card), Bharat Singh was an excellent driver with a very comfortable vehicle and the tour guides were excellent (and cannot be blamed for trying to earn a little commission from tourist traps). Book your tour with A-1 Travel with complete confidence.
Amazing experience with A-1 Travel, Mr Javed is very helpful and kind, always ready to answer to any question. Everything during this tour is well organised, indeed I felt very relaxed and I enjoyed every moment. A special mention to the driver Shankar, who was very professional but also the kindest person I could even imagine to meet. I had many personal problems during the tour and he behaved like a member of the family, helping me to solve everything. I strongly suggest this experience to anyone!!!
e to visit on my own. Although the schedule felt a bit rushed at times and some days involved long hours in the car—especially when travelling alone—it was well organized and efficiently managed. There were a few shopping and restaurant stops included, but I appreciated that the staff were never insistent or pushy. In addition, there was free time each day to explore independently, which provided a nice balance between guided activities and personal time. The local guides were knowledgeable and helpful, though occasionally a bit difficult to understand due to their accent. In terms of value for money, I found this experience highly recommendable and would not hesitate to book with this agency again.
I couldn’t recommend Javed and his team enough. We had a few days in India while traveling home from a trip. We knew we didn’t have a lot of time so we booked the tour to try fit in as much as we could. We saw so many things over such a short period thanks to them. From beginning to end the tour made things so easy for us and efficient. We got picked up and dropped at our hotel everyday. We had the hotels included with breakfast and they were all perfect. Each day we had a different tour guide in each city all of which had so much knowledge and answered any questions. They were also great at taking photos. Our driver, Narendra, was great. I’m still amazed at all the long journeys he drove each day. He was a great driver, always felt safe and he would often point out other sites when we were on route to a new city which was very nice. We wanted to see the monkey temple which wasn’t initially on the tour plan. We spoke to Narenda who organised with the tour guide for us to be brought there which was great. Javed himself was also very responsive in text messages and also messaged me back within an hour when I had a question. I hope to come back to India and I will use Javed and his team again. They made life so much easier for us on the trip and took care of everything.
Sultan is a great guy, very helpful. He went above and beyond, sorted loads of things along the way and made me laugh a lot. A lovely man, very good company for solo trip.
Everything was very well organized. We appreciated how professional and courteous our drivers were. A very positive experience. Thank you
A trip with friends 5day 4night. Firstly, mailed for the details with admin. it was so fast rely back with the places that we couldn't miss!! we had some request but he was so nice for what we asked for. To clearly price package no more addition when we were on trip there. For first day greeting with Sultan who took care us for THE WHOLE TRIP, thanks for lovely flower. He was so sense of humor, actived, friendly, helpful. Just asked for what we wanted to do/see something. He turned to Genie make our wished come true. Thank you Sultan once again for all unforgettable experiences. We were so much enjoyed till the last day of this trip.
Sultan Singh was our driver, good company and very knowledgeable. Javed was very helpful in getting things done and setting up the itinerary
A 1 Tour, the owner Mr Khan and my driver Narender where amazing. Excellent organisation, very good information and timing. As a solo female traveler I had my doubts . I'm a 57 year old tour guide from İzmir Turkiye. My 4 day private tour with 3 star Hotels was just perfect. Clean rooms, nice and friendly hotel staff, very good food...The private Suzuki sedan car was new and very clean. I sometimes felt like a princess and sometimes like family. A had the best Holi fest experience at the party with locals and tourists where my driver and new friend Narender brought me. Trustworthy and fair priced without negotiation!!!. Thank you A 1 Travel 🫂🙏 The guides where nice too but my driver was a better guide🙏
We were on a nine day private tour of Rajasthan. Ratan our driver was excellent. He was helpful, patient and organised. His driving skills in difficult conditions are amazing! Thank you Ratan.
Good: 1) Our driver Bhupendra was great. Extremely polite, punctual and a safe driver that went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. The trip would not be the same without his character! 2) Taj Mahal, Amritsar and the Jaipur palaces. Cannot recommend doing Amritsar enough - learning about the unfortunate massacre at Jallianwalla Bhag, the generosity in the Golden Temple, and grandeur of the Taj Mahal are a must-see. 3) A1 tours Amritsar arrangements - superbly helpful local Amritsar team (Aman the local rep), Ramana (the local driver), Vivek (Punjab Tourism approved tour guide) Bad: 1) Fatehpur Sikri - AVOID. This is a stop on the way to Agra from Jaipur. The carpark itself felt intimidating bordering on unsafe. None of the self-proclaimed 'guides' hunting for tourists in the car park seemed legit/ state-approved-tourist guides. Entering the fort itself - we have to remove our shoes (which was not previously mentioned). Once you are in, we are given the usual tour and then begins the sales pitch...apparently all proceeds go towards a children's charity/ school which we later discovered from a state-approved tourguide is a lie. The coerce money from you and this is a well-documented scam from others that have travelled. Not wanting to participate in a donation suddenly turns very hostile, with multiple men surrounding our group. We were then forced to pay to get our shoes back! Not doing so again changed the tone of the conversation - with multiple men turning up wanting payment to return shoes. Ugly: 1) Radisson Blu Jaipur. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in across Asia. The hygiene was terrible, and the multiple requests to deep-clean the rooms was ignored and blatantly lied about by the hotel managers we escalated to. See pictures for the disgusting state of the rooms. We were moved rooms at midnight however the room offered was even dirtier/ smellier (like an open sewer).
A really well organised tour! Javed was super helpful in rearranging things when our flight was changed last minute. Sultan (our driver) was amazing the whole time, he really looked out for us the entire trip and helped us whenever we needed anything! He was a fantastic driver and I always felt safe in the car. He would also point out interesting sites/pilgrimages whilst we were driving around and recommend places to eat in the evening. The tour guides were mostly knowledgeable and we found seeing the historic sites and temples super interesting however when you’re taken to the same types of shops over and over again it’s clear they are only taking you there for commission, it feels as though they are not always listening to you!
I just completed the 7 day tour. Sultan and Javid were very helpful! Sultan our driver in particular went above and beyond for us! Many of the tour guides take you to shops to purchase items such as jewellery; textiles which can get tiresome. Overall the tour guides were very knowledgeable and offered to take photos for us which was good.
From a simple email to Javed at A-1 with basic details of pick up location and preferred times, sights wanting to see, hotels staying at and drop off destination, everything was arranged and executed seamlessly. Excellent driver in Mr Ratan Singh and high quality guides ready to go in each location. I would thoroughly recommend A-1 services if you are looking for a reliable and safe driving tour in and around the Delhi, Agra and Jaipur areas
Quality agency. The stay was very well organized. The hotels matched our expectations. The driver was professional, very good driver. We were safe during the trips. He accompanied us very well.
During my trip, I had the privilege of having Sultan as a driver, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He was not only punctual and very professional throughout, but also showed a level of commitment that really makes a difference. Sultan is a warm, respectful person and always willing to help. Their treatment is friendly and genuine, which made each trip comfortable and relaxed. In addition, you know the routes very well and always look for the best way to optimize time without sacrificing safety or comfort. I definitely recommend Sultan to any traveler who values reliable and humane service. Thank you for making my transfers such a pleasant experience!
The tour organized by A1 was fantastic, in 5 days we enjoyed the beauties of North India. A note of credit to the driver Sultan, very kind and available to show us untouristy places. I liked the guides less, which in some cases were not very prepared. I recommend this tour also for the excellent value for money, we chose the standard option and we enjoyed it in all the hotels!
I relied on A1 tour for the golden triangle tour (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur). It was a perfect experience. Sultan, our driver is a very nice person who understands your needs and is very helpful, knows many places even to eat well with honest prices. I was also very happy because it allowed me to adapt the tour according to my preferences. I also found myself very comfortable in hotels.
"The tour was excellent! It fulfilled everything promised and it was very interesting to know new cultures. Our driver, Sultan, was the best—With Sultan, everything is possible!" Kevin / Katty
