The reception staff is exceptionally welcoming and efficient. A special mention goes to Mr. Khanna, whose outstanding hospitality, warmth, and professionalism truly made our stay memorable. The entire service team operates with mathematical precision and efficiency.DiningThe breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that exceeded expectations.Cleanliness & ComfortIn terms of hygiene, the rooms were absolutely spotless. Housekeeping does a commendable job of keeping the environment pristine.Areas for ImprovementWhile the cleanliness is top-notch, the rooms themselves feel outdated and are in need of a modern makeover to justify the premium price tag. Additionally, the provided toiletries were disappointing and not up to the standard of a luxury hotel. Investing in higher-quality amenities and a room refresh would vastly improve the overall guest experience.

This review comes late, but it had to be written. Every hotel, regardless of its location, decor or star rating, ultimately thrives on one thing: people who genuinely care about giving guests a good experience. And in that regard, I have mixed feelings about The MET. I was there on 3rd and 4th July for a Leadership Seminar for HDFC Asset Management. A colleague and I checked in together and explicitly asked whether our booking included the MAP plan. We were clearly told it did not. The next day, the agent confirmed by email that our meals were, in fact, BTC. Reception had simply “forgotten” to tell us. We discovered this only while checking out. How does something so basic happen? It happens when people behind the desk are more focused on looking important than actually paying attention. The MET has the location, the infrastructure and the brand. But hotels are not ultimately run by buildings. They are run by people. And when the people who are supposed to create the guest experience seem disinterested, selective in their courtesy, or simply inattentive, no amount of luxury can completely make up for it. A hotel can be five-star in its facilities and still feel distinctly ordinary in its service. Shridhar Aiyer Leadership Facilitator and world traveller
The hotel location is great .. close to everything and the staff is so attentive and helpful.. our room were cleaned daily with care and they somehow knew what we needed without having to go to them .. a wonderful gentleman by the name of Nanak was very helpful and friendly.. he was ready to help in any way .. the breakfast had so much verity and fresh delicious chai .. the staff is always smiling and seeing them make you want to smile back .. when I return from the outing and come back to the hotel , it so nice to be greeted by the men outside .. love being here and now we stayed here two times and will continue to do so
Our stay in Delhi this March was truly wonderful, largely thanks to the hotel’s excellent location in the heart of Connaught Place. We felt incredibly safe at all times, even while taking evening strolls around the area, and it was reassuring to see so many other international travelers staying here. Beyond the immediate vicinity, we loved being within walking distance of iconic landmarks like the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara and Sacred Heart Cathedral, as well as the local shops at Gol Market. The hospitality was a major highlight, with a professional staff that provided meaningful assistance to ensure our trip was seamless. We also thoroughly enjoyed the dining; both the buffet breakfast and lunch were excellent and highly recommended. Between the delicious food, the sense of security, and the perfect central location, this will definitely be our first choice when we return to Delhi. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality!
The rooms here are good and well maintained. Location also very suitable to markets and nearby amenities. A bouquet of thanks for the staff and their services. Wi-Fi not really reliable and the entertainment (TV) was old. Not smart TV, hence could be better. Otherwise, everything else was okay including long hours for breakfast, which gives you ample time. Swimming pool, SPA and gym are readily available. So, definitely worth the stay here✔️
